Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the effect of product variety on consumer purchasing decisions in Snugstore . This research is a form of associative method with a quantitative approach with a view to find how much influence between the variables X is Product Variations to variable Y is the consumer purchase decision.  Based on the analysis results of SEM ( Structural Equation Modeling ) indicates that the variable X4 or size of a product is part of the X variables that influence purchase decisions in the store Snugstore field . Size is divided into two items that measure the completeness and appropriateness of the size of the consumer Demand , both items are positive and become advocates for the high influence of the size of the products on consumer purchasing decisions . Based Goodness of Fit table above, it is known that the p-value ≥ 0:05 , this means that the alternative hypothesis is accepted and the null hypothesis is rejected that there are significant variations in the product on consumer purchasing decisions on Snugstore . RMSEA value ie RMSEA ≤ 0.05 ≤ 0.08 indicate that the model is a good fit . Value Std . RMR is this Std.RMR ≤ 0:05 shows that the model has good Goodness of Fit . Value indicates that GFI GFI ≥ accepted . Keywords : Product Variation, Consumer Purchase Decisions.

Abstract

Developments in the world of retail business require companies to have good marketing strategies to face competition. Impulse buying is a consumer behavior that must be considered when marketing products. MR. DIY is a company operating in the retail industry. Companies in this industry have intense competition. This research aims to determine the influence of a hedonistic lifestyle, visual merchandising, and price discounts on MR impulse buying. DIY Plaza Medan Fair. The influence between hedonistic lifestyle, visual merchandising, and price discounts will be analyzed partially and simultaneously. This research uses quantitative methods with 96 consumers as research samples, with a sampling technique, namely purposive sampling. Data collection was carried out through a questionnaire using a Likert scale which was distributed to respondents directly at MR. DIY Plaza Medan Fair, while secondary data was obtained from literature study. Data analysis methods use validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear analysis, and hypothesis testing with the help of SPSS. The results of the research show that the hedonistic lifestyle variable has a significant effect on impulse buying. Furthermore, the visual merchandising variable has a significant effect on impulse buying. And the price discount variable does not have a significant effect on impulse buying. The result of the determination test was that the correlation coefficient (R) was 0.58, which means that each variable, namely hedonistic lifestyle (X1), visual merchandising (X2), and price discounts (X3) were interconnected with purchasing decisions (Y) by 58%. This means that a hedonistic lifestyle, visual merchandising and price discounts have contributed to impulse buying..

Abstract

Scarlett Whitening is a new brand but very quickly famous and sold among the community amid intense competition in the Indonesian cosmetic industry that gave rise to many new cosmetic brands in recent years. This study aims to determine how the influence of brand image and product quality on the decision of Scarlett Whitening products in Medan both partially and simultaneously. The type of research used in this study is quantitative research with associative approach. Sampling technique is purposive sampling of 100 respondents. Data analysis techniques used are validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression test, T test, F test and coefficient of determination test. The results showed that the brand image and product quality have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions Scarlett Whitening products partially and simultaneously. Correlation coefficient value of 0.870 which indicates a fairly strong correlation between brand image and product quality variables on purchasing decisions. R Square value of purchase decision variable of 75.7% can be explained by brand image and product quality variables, while the remaining 24.3% is influenced by other variables that are not contained in the study.

Abstract

The appearance of Covid-19 altered almost everyone's way of life. The shift from physical to internet buying exemplifies lifestyle changes that are evident. In addition, the Covid-19 has led to an upsurge in consumption. The cosmetics business is likewise affected by the shift from offline to online purchasing habits. L'Oréal Paris is one of the cosmetic brands available in Indonesia. This research intends to examine the impact of brand ambassadors and brand image on L'Oréal Paris product purchase choices in the city of Medan. This study used quantitative research using an associative methodology. Sampling was conducted using the approach of purposive sampling, with 100 respondents serving as samples. This study's main data was collected via the distribution of Google Forms surveys, while secondary data was gained through a review of the relevant literature. The data analysis method consists of the validity test, the reliability test, the classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, and the hypothesis test. According to the study's results, both the brand ambassador and brand image have a significant influence on customer purchasing decisions. Brand ambassador and brand image are elements that impact buying decisions simultaneously.

Abstract

The development of tourism at this time is very fast, with the increase of transportation to visit an area is quite easy, the abundance of natural tourism potential and beauty in Indonesia encourages local and foreign tourists to travel in Indonesia. In addition to its natural potential, Indonesia also has tours that are made with quality that is very great, tourist destinations must have an attraction that can make visitors or tourists return to the tourist destination. The form of research used in this research is quantitative research with purposive sampling and use 100 respondents. The results of this research shows that the price variable (X1) has no significant effect on the attractiveness of Sejarah Beach visitors. Meanwhile, the beach facilities variable (X2) has a significant and simultaneous effect on the attractiveness of Sejarah Beach visitors. The coefficient of determination test shows that there is a fairly close relationship between price and facilities on the attraction of historical beach tourism visitors with an R-value of 0.853. Through the adjusted R square, it is also known that the price and facilities variables contribute 72.2% to the visitor attractiveness variable while the remaining 27.8% is influenced by other variables not mentioned in this study.

Abstract

The implementation of digital marketing aims to utilize the potential of digital media as a means to increase business visibility, reach a wider target market, build interactions with customers, and ultimately increase the revenue of MSMEs. The purpose of this study is to identify and analyze the strategies and forms of digital marketing implementation carried out by culinary MSMEs and their impact on business revenue growth. This research adopts a qualitative approach, with data collection methods including observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of digital marketing by culinary MSMEs in Lubuk Pakam has made a significant contribution, with an increase in revenue of approximately 47%. Through the use of social media, delivery services, as well as promotions, discounts, and giveaways, MSMEs are able to expand their market reach and attract potential consumers.

Abstract

Tourism is a reference to a marker of a country's prosperity because the tourism industry has a real influence on the economy, economic improvement and environmental carrying capacity. This study aims to determine how the influence of E-WOM and destination image on visiting decisions on Hillpark Sibolangit tours. The research technique used is quantitative. The sampling technique was carried out by purposive sampling method with a sample size of 100 respondents. The results of this test indicate that the E-WOM factor (X1) and destination image (X2) have a partial and significant effect on visiting decisions (Y). E-WOM (X1) and destination image (X2) variables simultaneously and significantly affect visiting decisions (Y). With an R value of 0.724, it shows that the E-WOM (X1) and destination image (X2) factors are related to visiting decisions (Y) by 0.724 so that the relationship between these factors can be categorized as close. Through the R Square value, it is known that E-WOM (X1) and destination image (X2) contribute 51.4%, while the remaining 48.6% is influenced by variables not discussed in this study.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has caused changes in aspect of life. These changes have influenced the communication industry which created the concept of Video on Demand. Netflix is one of the streaming services that have a variety of shows such as movies, anime, documentaries, and many more. During the first time, Netflix came to Indonesia, they had many issues with government and public services. This research aims to analyze the effect of electronic word of mouth (E-WOM) and brand image on the purchase decision of Netflix subscriptions in Medan city. The research used an associative method with a quantitative approach. The sample and populations in this research are 100 people who have used Netflix in Medan City. Data were collected using a survey method and then analyzed by using simple linier regression. The results of the research conducted reveal that the E-WOM variable (X1) has no significant effect on purchasing decisions. Meanwhile, the brand image variable (X2) has significantly influenced purchasing decisions. However, E-WOM and brand image have an equal (simultaneous) effect on purchase decisions (Y). The result of the correlation coefficient (R) of 0.836, where this coefficient value shows the relationship between E-WOM and brand image on purchasing decisions.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Store Atmosphere on Buying Decisions on Seis Café & Public Space consumers, analyze the effect of Viral Marketing on Buying Decisions on Seis Café & Public Space consumers, analyze the influence of Store Atmosphere and Viral Marketing on Buying Decisions on Seis Café & Public Space consumers. The research method used in this research is quantitative approach. The population in this study was Seis Café & Public Space consumers, the sample set was 100 consumers (respondents) with a sampling technique using purposive sampling. Data collection techniques in this study used primary data obtained from distributing questionnaires google form, for secondary data obtained through books and articles related to this study. The data analysis method used is validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, multiple linear analysis, partial test, simultaneous test and determination test. The results of the research conducted indicate that the Store Atmosphere (X1) and Viral Marketing (X2) variables have a significant effect on Buying Decisions (Y). Store Atmosphere and Viral Marketing variables simultaneously affect Buying Decisions (Y). The coefficient of determination test shows that there is a very close relationship between Store Atmosphere and Viral Marketing, towards Buying Decisions with an R value of 0.797 through an adjusted R square value, it is revealed that Store Atmosphere and Viral Marketing variables contribute 63.8%, to Buying Decisions, while 36,2% is influenced by other variables beyond the study.

Abstract

The increasing awareness within the community regarding the significance of skincare, especially for the face, has led to a high demand for facial care products, resulting in the emergence of numerous new skincare brands in the market. Among these brands, Somethinc has gained prominence, particularly in Medan City, where it secured the top position in skincare sales on e-commerce platforms in 2022. This research aims to investigate the impact of brand ambassadors, social media marketing, and advertising campaigns for Somethinc products on purchase intention within the Medan City community. The study employs a quantitative research approach with an associative methodology and utilizes SPSS software for data analysis. The research population comprises all members of the community in Medan City who use Somethinc, with a total of 100 respondents as the sample. The findings indicate that the brand ambassador variable has a negative and statistically insignificant effect on purchase intention, while the variables of social media marketing and advertising campaigns have a positive and statistically significant impact. The F-test results reveal that all three independent variables collectively influence the purchase intention of Somethinc products within the Medan City community, explaining 64.9% of the variance.
