Abstract

Dengue hemorrhagic fever is still a public health problem and the incidence of the case was up and down erratically. One of the causes of DHF incidence is rainfall. Based on geographic location and topography, Karanganyar Regency has temperature temperature between 180-310C, the lowest temperature is in Tawangmangu Subdistrict when rainy season is 180C, while in Gondangrejo and Colomadu District reaches 310C. Aedes aegypti mosquitoes can survive at a temperature of 22 - 240C. In the rainy season, usually the incidence of dengue cases tends to increase. Based on data from 6 measuring stations in Karanganyar District, the number of rainy days during the year was 115.6 days with an average of 7,231.4 mm rainfall, where the highest rainfall occurred in February to April, while the lowest was at August and September. This study was an observational analytic study with multiple temporal analyzes. Data used in this research are secondary data of DBD case and rainfall factor data. Dengue fever spreads in residential areas. The strength of rainfall correlation with dengue is strong (r = 0.62).There is no significant correlation between rainfall factor and DHF. This may be due to the lack of duration of data taken, incomplete physical factor data and the influence of other dominant factors.

Abstract

Abstract

Abstract

Menstruation is a natural process that all adolescent girls experience. However, many young women feel uncomfortable or experience dysmenorrhea during this time. The main issues surrounding this topic are the lack of information about dysmenorrhea, the underutilization of android applications, and the lack of training on how to use these applications for health purposes, specifically for dysmenorrhea. To address these problems, the proposed solutions include increasing awareness and understanding about dysmenorrhea and providing training on how to use android applications for health, specifically for dysmenorrhea. The goal of this activity is to utilize android-based health applications, such as menstrual cycle reminder apps, to help adolescent girls manage dysmenorrhea and continue with their daily activities. This activity was conducted with 410 students from MTS Negeri 1 Boyolali in grades VII and VIII.The implementation of this activity involves several stages, including socialization, training, technology application, mentoring, evaluation, and planning for program sustainability. The partners' knowledge and understanding were evaluated by comparing pretest and posttest results, which showed an average score increase of 26.2from 58.18 to 84.34. The students' enthusiasm for participating in the activity was also high, as evidenced by their active participation and application of the knowledge gained. The follow-up plan that will be carried out based on the results of community service includes optimizing the role of the School Health Unit in improving the reproductive health of students through collaboration with local health centers.

Abstract

The increasing elderly population in KlatenRegency, reaching 17-18%, brings challenges in the form of an increased risk of cognitive decline and dementia. Posyandu (Integrated Health Post)Dahlia Mandiriin Tegal Malohan faces limitations in cognitive stimulation services due to a lack of media and the human resources capacity of its cadres. This community service activity aims to implement rollmate technology as a non-pharmacological intervention to improve the cognitive function of the elderly through the empowerment of Posyandu cadres. Training was conducted for six cadres using lecture and hands-on methods. The intervention was then applied to 55 elderly people over two cycles to measure the effectiveness of the tool's use on cognitive speed and scores. The cadre training showed a significant increase in knowledge, with an average pre-test score of 30.89 to 86.83 in the post-test. In the elderly group, the application of rollmate successfully increased the speed and duration of use by 1.5 minutes and increased scores by 100%. Qualitatively, elderly people reported feeling more "fresh" mentally and showed increased focus and stabilization of cognitive scores. The use of rollmate is effective as a means of stimulating eye-hand coordination and a recreational psychology for the elderly. Integrating this tool into routine posyandu activities is crucial for the sustainability of the intervention, with family support being a key factor in independent use at home.
