Abstract

ABSTRACTEarly cases of bone loss or osteoporosis in Indonesian are higher than the world average, because two out of five Indonesians are at risk for this disease, while the world average is only one in three people at risk of developing osteoporosis. So that public awareness needs to be raised about the dangers of osteoporosis. Preventing osteoporosils can be done by drinking Anlene's milk. The purpose of the study was to analyze the effect of brand awareness and perceived quality on the interest in repurchasing Anlene milk products, in 150 respondents selected purposively. Data analysis using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with Lisrel software. The results showed that brand awareness has a positive effect on repurchase interest, with the most influential indicators being the peak of the mind. Then the perception of quality has a positive effect on repurchase interest, with the most influential indicators being product characteristics. This can be used by producers to pay more attention to brand awareness through peak thinking and perceived quality through product characteristics so that consumers always re-purchase Anlene milk products. Keywords: brand awareness, perceived quality, interest in repurchasing, Anlene dairy products, Structural Equation Modeling (SEM).

Abstract

The role of nutmeg in traditional and international trade is very significant because it is able to supply around 60-75 percent of the world's market share needs. The government as one of the market players has a role in creating strategic agricultural product price stabilization, and while there are still weaknesses of the agribusiness structure prevailing in Indonesia, integration analysis is very important given the benefits of knowledge about market integration. Market integration is useful to facilitate monitoring of price changes and support government policies on price stabilization and predict prices in the domestic market. Analysis of the market integration of this research uses the Vector Autoregression (VAR) model in difference determined through data stationarity test. Meanwhile, to determine the impact of the response of each variable due to shock (impulse response analysis) and Variance Decomposition. This research has three equations in the VAR analysis model and the results are all significant. The benefit of this research is to help determine the forecast of nutmeg prices in the domestic market and the impact of the response of each variable due to shocks.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze food waste management in star hotels in Pontianak City with a case study of Aston Pontianak Hotel Restaurant, as well as formulate alternative reduction efforts. The background of the research is the high generation of food waste in Indonesia and the absence of a special policy on food loss and waste, while hotels are one of the significant producers of food waste. The research was conducted in September-November 2023 with a qualitative descriptive approach using purposive sampling techniques on chefs, waitresses, and breakfast visitors, and supported by secondary data. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and questionnaires, then analyzed descriptively. The results showed that food waste appeared most at the receiving, storage, and production stages in the Operating Control Cycle, and the amount of generation was greatly influenced by the number of visitors and consumer behavior during the buffet (food taste was not suitable and the portion was excessive). Respondents assessed reducing the size of cutlery and consumer education as the most preferred method to reduce food waste. This study recommends improving menu management, strengthening kitchen training, and establishing a more sustainable food waste treatment system.

Abstract

The agriculture, forestry, and fisheries sector is the sector with the largest distribution of West Kalimantan's GRDP in 2023. West Kalimantan is the province with the third largest area of palm oil plantations in Indonesia which continues to increase every year along with the amount of production. This also affects the increase in palm oil productivity. Palm oil is the leading plantation commodity for the people of West Kalimantan which has the highest area and production compared to other plantation commodities. This study was conducted to analyze the effect of palm oil productivity on the economy in West Kalimantan Province through the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP). Panel data regression is the method used in this study with the best selected model being the Random Effect Model (REM). The Central Statistics Agency and the Provincial Plantation and Livestock Service are agencies as sources for obtaining secondary data used in this study. Time series data in the form of 12 years of data used starting from 2011 to 2022 from 13 Regencies/Cities in West Kalimantan as cross-section data.
