Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between interpersonal communication and emotional intelligence with teacher achievement motivation at MTs Negeri Stabat Langkat Regency. The formulation of the problems posed in this study are: 1) Is there a relationship between interpersonal communication and teacher achievement motivation at MTs Negeri Stabat Kab. Depart? 2) Is there a relationship between emotional intelligence and teacher achievement motivation at MTs Negeri Stabat Kab. Depart? 3) Is there a relationship between interpersonal communication and emotional intelligence with teacher achievement motivation at MTs Negeri Stabat, district. Depart? The type of research used is quantitative using a correlational approach, namely research that seeks to see the relationship between variables. The study population was all teachers of MTs Negeri Kab. Langkat numbered 41 people. Because the population is 41 people, the entire population is used as a research sample and is called total sampling. Data were analyzed using data analysis techniques with multiple linear regression. After the research data were analyzed, the following results were obtained: 1) There is a positive and significant relationship between teacher interpersonal communication (X 1 ) and teacher achievement motivation (Y) at MTs Negeri Stabat with a strong correlation level at the correlation coefficient value of 0.717. Meanwhile, the value of the ridge strength that occurs between the two variables is 0.717 or 71.7%. 2) There is a positive and significant relationship between teachers' emotional intelligence (X 2 ) and achievement motivation (Y) at MTs Negeri Stabat with a strong correlation level at the correlation coefficient value of 0.704. While the value of the strength of the relationship that occurs between the two variables is 0.704 or 70.4%. 3) There is a positive and significant relationship between teacher interpersonal communication (X 1 ) and teacher emotional intelligence (X 2 ) with teacher achievement motivation (Y) at MTs Negeri Stabat at a correlation level of 0.717. Meanwhile, the value of the strength of the relationship that occurs between the two variables is 0.717 or 71.7%. Thus it can be concluded that there is a positive and significant relationship between interpersonal communication and teachers' emotional intelligence with teacher achievement motivation at MTs Negeri Stabat Kab. Leave. This means that the higher the interpersonal communication and emotional intelligence of the teacher, the better the achievement motivation of the teacher.

Abstract

This research was conducted due to the madrasah's awareness of the crucial role of discipline in achieving educational goals. In addition, this success cannot be separated from the strong leadership of the madrasah head and the commitment of educational staff in upholding the rules and norms that have been set. this research uses qualitative research methods descriptive qualitative approach. The subjects of this research are the actors involved in the leadership strategy of the madrasah head in improving the performance of educational staff at MTs Swasta Al Mansuriyah. This research uses a snowball sample technique (snowball). Qualitative data collection techniques used consist of interviews, observations and document studies. For this reason, the data obtained is then analyzed using an interactive model qualitative data analysis consisting of: a) data reduction, b) data presentation, and c) conclusion. Data validity standards, namely 1) Credibility; 2) Transferability; 3) Can be trusted or can be held true (dependability): 4) Confirmability. The preparation of plans and strategies by the madrasah head at MTs Al-Mansuriyah is an important step to improve the performance of teaching staff and lead to quality education. The main focus is on improving the performance of education personnel through professional development programs. The quality of work of education personnel determines the success of educational institutions. The quantitative evaluation also highlighted the importance of time management, productivity and punctuality. The madrasah principal has a crucial role in managing all aspects of activities in the madrasah. Close collaboration between teaching and education personnel strengthens their professionalism and prepares them for the challenges of contemporary education. MTs Al-Mansuriyah demonstrates a strong commitment to building a positive culture of discipline.

Abstract

Digital transformation has changed the thinking of teachers and education personnel about the need to balance technology-based learning media with digital competencies in providing academic services. Thus, this research makes an important contribution to understanding how the application of digital technology can improve the effectiveness and efficiency of educational services. This study used descriptive qualitative research methodology.  The subjects of this study were principals and teachers who were actively involved in the implementation of digital-based academic service management. In this study, data collection techniques were used; 1) Observation; 2) Interview and 3) Documentation Study. In checking the validity of this research using triangulation techniques. Therefore, a qualitative data analysis method is needed. Data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing and analysis are the phases of data analysis that follow data collection. academic service planning process at SMA N 1 Kutacane, one of which is the formation of small teams in each study group. This strategy supports decentralization and task delegation. Organizing academic services at SMA N 1 Kutacane uses a comprehensive approach that focuses on digital literacy. This strategy includes comprehensive planning from infrastructure to policy for the integration of digital transformation, improving school operational efficiency and student learning experience. Teachers who actively learn and implement the knowledge in school activities and learning communities create a better learning environment. At SMA N 1 Kutacane, digitalization of education began in 2015 with the Model application and Quizizz in 2018. Evaluation at SMA N 1 Kutacane showed some significant weaknesses, such as low understanding and use of digital tools by teachers.

Abstract

This research was conducted because every teacher is able to follow the program that is the goal of education in improving the quality of students. Described through the achievements that have been achieved by students.  And this is inseparable from the leadership style of the madrasah head. This study uses a qualitative research design with an ethnographic approach focusing on social research. Researchers go directly to the field of data collection techniques, namely interviews, observation and documentation. Regarding data analysis, the author uses techniques, namely data reduction, data display, and conclusions.Data validity techniques with data triangulation. Validation is done by comparing statements from other parties. The principal of MAS Darul Amin madrasah in improving teacher performance through various well-structured programs with teachers and significant efforts. The madrasah head's contribution is designed to meet all the necessary needs of the teachers. The principal of Darul Amin madrasah makes every effort to ensure that quality improvement programs are optimally implemented, addressing not only those aspects managed by individual teachers but also the entire school system. These efforts include innovative strategies and systemic reforms that integrate all aspects of the education environment. By addressing these challenges through ongoing dialogue and collaborative problem-solving, the madrasah can develop an adaptive and resilient education program. The madrasah head plays a critical role in ensuring the effectiveness of all communication processes within the institution.

Abstract

This research was conducted so that principals are able to make a habit of providing guidance to teachers related to all the problems faced so that teachers are able to maximally and professionally carry out their performance professionally, in the sense of being good but must be firm in carrying out their duties as principals. This research is a qualitative research method with a descriptive study This research includes field research with a phenomenological approach. In this case, the data collection techniques used are interviews, observations and documentation studies. The data analysis techniques used in this research are 1) Data Reduction 2) Presentation of Data (Data Display); 3) Conclusion Drawing. The results showed that the performance of teachers at SMK Negeri 1 Kutalimbaru included: 1). Teacher performance in planning the learning process. 2). Teacher performance in learning implementation. 3). Teacher performance in learning evaluation. 4). Efforts to improve teacher performance made by principals are by conducting training, workshops and also motivational seminars. The leadership styles applied by the principal of SMK Negeri 1 Kutalimbaru are: 1). Democratic leadership type. 2). Visionary leadership type. 3). Transformational leadership type. The driving factors of the principal's leadership in improving the performance of teachers at SMK Negeri 1 Kutalimbaru include: 1).The principal's ability to manage planning. 2).Synergistic relationship among school members. Abstract

This research aims to determine the non-academic achievements obtained by students, existing extracurricular activities, the strategies implemented by madrasah heads to improve students' non-academic achievements, the constraints of madrasah heads in implementing strategies, and the achievements of extracurricular activities in improving students' non-academic achievements at MTs Negeri 3 Medan. This research uses a qualitative type of research with a case study approach conducted in a natural, holistic and in-depth setting. The research subjects were school principals, teachers/extracurricular activity coaches, students, and extracurricular activity coaches. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation techniques. The data analysis technique uses the Interactive Analysis Model from Miles and Huberman, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions or verification. Research data validity techniques are credibility, transferability, dependability and confirmability.The research results obtained are: 1) Students' non-academic achievements come from extracurricular activities that students participate in, including scouts, paskibra, tahfiz, youth scientific work, mujawwad, dance and futsal. 2) The extracurricular activities at MTs Negeri 3 Medan are futsal, paskibra, scouts, KIR, UKS, dance, mujawwad, PIS, band/music, and tahfiz. 3) The strategy implemented by the madrasa head is: selecting competent trainers, determining a good extracurricular schedule, facilities and infrastructure, funding, motivation for students, and evaluation. 4) The obstacles faced by madrasa heads are from the financial side, in terms of time to take part in events or competitions and in terms of when taking part in events that are far away, they have to add supervisor/teacher personnel. 5) Achievement of extracurricular activities is seen from the achievements obtained by students while participating in extracurricular activities, where the non-academic achievements achieved by MTs Negeri 3 Medan students who take part in extracurricular activities have reached the point of participating in and winning national scale events or competitions. Apart from that, the achievements of extracurricular activities can be seen from the impact on the members who take part in them, namely deepening and expanding students' knowledge regarding the extracurricular activities they participate in and succeeding in building students' personalities with strong and independent characters.Thus, the strategy implemented by the head of the madrasa to improve the non-academic achievements of MTs Negeri 3 Medan students through extracurricular activities has been able to provide various achievements in various events or competitions not only between schools or between districts/cities but on a national scale. There are only a few obstacles that need to be addressed by the school, namely from a financial perspective, in terms of time and in terms of distance to participate in events or competitions.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul “Kebijakan Pemisahan Kelas Berbasis Gender Dalam Upaya Pembinaan Akhlak Siswa di SMP Swasta IT Bina Insan Batang Kuis”. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis kebijakan pemisahan kelas berbasis gender dalam upaya pembinaan akhlak siswa di SMP Swasta IT Bina Insan Batang Kuis. Pemisahan kelas antara siswa laki-laki dan perempuan dilakukan sebagai bentuk strategi pendidikan akhlak dan karakter yang sejalan dengan nilai-nilai Islam dan untuk menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang kondusif serta mengurangi interaksi yang dapat memicu perilaku menyimpang. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan naturalistic inquiry. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari kepala sekolah, guru, dan siswa SMP Swasta IT Bina Insan Batang Kuis. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam serta dokumentasi. Analisis data dari Miles dan Hubarman dilakukan melalui tahapan mereduksi data, menyajikan data, dan menarik kesimpulan. Dan untuk menjamin keabsahan data, peneliti menggunakan triangulasi sumber, triangulasi metode dan triangulasi waktu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kebijakan pemisahan kelas berbasis gender di SMP Swasta IT Bina Insan Batang Kuis dilatarbelakangi oleh nilai-nilai ajaran agama Islam, serta kondisi psikologis remaja pada masa pubertas yang rentan terhadap pergaulan bebas. Kebijakan ini diterapkan sejak tahun 2017 dan didukung penuh oleh pihak yayasan, kepala sekolah, guru, dan orang tua siswa. Pembinaan akhlak melalui kebijakan ini dilakukan dengan meminimalisir interaksi lawan jenis, mengajarkan adab bergaul sesuai syariat Islam, serta didukung oleh berbagai program keagamaan seperti apel pagi, sholat berjamaah, pembinaan wali kelas, mabit, puasa Senin-Kamis, dan tilawah, yang semuanya dilaksanakan secara terpisah antara siswa putra dan putri. Guru juga berperan aktif sebagai teladan dan pembiasaan perilaku baik. Meskipun demikian, masih ditemukan tantangan terkait kedisiplinan dan sopan santun siswa, serta adanya pelanggaran interaksi lawan jenis. Persepsi siswa terhadap kebijakan ini sangat positif, mereka merasa lebih nyaman, fokus dalam belajar, dan terbantu dalam menjaga adab pergaulan sesuai nilai-nilai Islam. Siswa juga mengakui bahwa kebijakan ini efektif mengurangi perilaku negatif seperti pacaran, meskipun tantangan dalam pengelolaan kelas putra masih ada. Maka disimpulkan bahwa kebijakan pemisahan kelas berbasis gender di SMP Swasta IT Bina Insan Batang Kuis merupakan langkah strategis, kebijakan ini dinilai efektif dalam membantu pembinaan akhlak siswa, terutama dalam menjaga adab pergaulan sesuai syariat Islam dan mengurangi perilaku negative siswa.

Abstract

Investasi dalam pendidikan memiliki keunggulan dibandingkan dengan investasi di bidang lain. Ada beberapa alasan yang dapat mendukung gagasan ini, salah satunya adalah bahwa pendidikan dapat dianggap sebagai investasi yang memiliki hubungan langsung dengan ekonomi. Melakukan upaya untuk meningkatkan pendidikan akan menghasilkan tenaga kerja yang berkualitas untuk memenuhi lapangan kerja. Dengan keterampilan yang mereka miliki, tenaga kerja yang berkualitas tinggi dapat berkontribusi langsung pada peningkatan pendapatan negara. Melalui pendidikan, individu memperoleh pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan nilai-nilai yang dibutuhkan untuk berhasil dalam kehidupan pribadi dan profesionalnya. Investasi di bidang pendidikan memberikan peluang untuk pertumbuhan dan kemajuan yang berkelanjutan. Pendidikan sering kali dianggap sebagai investasi jangka panjang yang mmeberikan keuntungan baik bagi individu maupun masyarakat.
