Abstract

This research aims to design and implement an automation system for controlling electrical devices and door locking based on an ESP32 microcontroller with support for Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technology. The system was realized in prototype form using the iTag device as a communication medium between the user and the ESP32. The main aim of this system is to increase energy efficiency and room security through automatic control of electrical devices and a door locking mechanism when the room is not in use. Registered iTag devices will be connected to the ESP32 through the BLE pairing process, enabling detection of the user's presence within a 3 meter radius. When a user is detected, the system automatically activates the electrical device and unlocks the door; instead, the device will be disabled and the door locked when the user leaves the area. System testing was carried out to evaluate the BLE signal range and system response to various environmental conditions. Test results show that the system is able to detect iTag devices up to a maximum distance of 12 meters without physical obstacles and 9 meters with wall obstacles.

Abstract

Di indonesia bahasa isyarat telah dibakukan dengan nama SIBI (Sistem Isyarat Bahasa Indonesia). SIBI merupakan salah satu media yang berbentuk buku. Akan tetapi belajar bahasa isyarat dengan buku kurang efektif karena buku tidak memiliki media video dan buku memiliki jumlah halaman yang tebal sehingga susah untuk dibawa kemana-mana. Tujuan dari pembuatan Aplikasi Mobile Learning Bahasa Isyarat ini adalah, agar tunarungu yang ada di indonesia bisa memanfaatkan smartphone untuk belajar bahasa isyarat dimanapun dan kapanpun. Dan aplikasi ini menyajikan materi berupa video yang mempermudah tunarungu untuk belajar bahasa isyarat. Setelah di implementasikan dan dilakukan pengujian, pada umumnya responden belum pernah menggunakan aplikasi bahasa isyarat sejenis sebelumnya. Oleh sebab itu maka aplikasi ini sangat dibutuhkan oleh tunarungu sebagai alternatif lain selain buku untuk belajar materi-materi dasar bahasa isyarat. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan 75% responded setuju bahwa aplikasi bahasa isyarat ini sudah layak untuk digunakan   In Indonesia sign language has been standardized by the name of SIBI(Sistem Bahasa Isyarat Indonesia). SIBI is one of the media in the form of books. But learning sign language with book less effective, because the book does not have video and the book has a number of pages thick, so hard to carry anywhere. The purpose of the Application of Mobile Learning Sign Language is, so deaf that exist in Indonesia can use a smartphone to learn sign language wherever and whenever. And this application presents the material in the form of video that makes it deaf to learn sign language. Once implemented and tested, in general respondents had never used sign language previous similar applications. So the application is very much needed by the deaf as an alternative books to learn the basic materials of sign language and also the test. The results showed 75 % Responded agree that the application of sign language is can be use by the deaf.

Abstract

Beragamnya aplikasi yang beredar di masyarakat, membuat para pengembang aplikasi mobile berlomba-lomba untuk menciptakan aplikasi yang menarik, terutama dalam hal desain antarmuka pengguna dan pengalaman pengguna. Sayangnya, sejak awal peluncurannya, aplikasi android Sisfo ITP Mahasiswa belum pernah menjalani pengujian analisis kegunaan usability. Analisis terhadap aplikasi ini penting untuk mengetahui sejauh mana keberhasilan implementasinya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menilai tingkat pengalaman pengguna pada aplikasi android Sisfo ITP Mahasiswa menggunakan metode System Usability Scale dan Usability Testing. Pengujian menggunakan tools untuk usability testing dan survei kuesioner online. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan skor SUS sebesar 59, sehingga dikategorikan sebagai F yang artinya Ok. Dalam hal kegunaan usability, aplikasi ini juga mendapatkan skor sebesar 59, yang menempatkannya dalam kategori standar. Penelitian ini memberikan rekomendasi perbaikan untuk meningkatkan kegunaan dan pengalaman pengguna keseluruhan dari aplikasi ini. Hasil pengujian ini menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pengalaman pengguna aplikasi, mengindikasikan bahwa perubahan-perubahan yang diimplementasikan pada desain aplikasi memperbaiki tingkat usability secara substansial.

Abstract

Given the significance of oil palm plantations in contributing to the economy of Dharmasraya Regency, especially for industry players seeking suitable palm oil processing facilities, there is a need for detailed and easily accessible information. One approach to providing quick and convenient access to the locations of palm oil processing plants is through E-Location technology. E-Location is an electronic information system that displays a distribution map of palm oil processing plants in Dharmasraya Regency. This study aims to create a web-based E-Location information system using the CodeIgniter framework and Open Street Map (OSM) mapping software, facilitating easy access to information on the locations of Palm Oil Processing (POP) in Dharmasraya Regency. This system will enable users to view the distribution of POP locations and access a range of related information. The research results on the Design of a Web-Based Palm Oil Processing Plant E-Location Information System in Dharmasraya Regency show that this system is effective for viewing the distribution map and detailed information about palm oil processing plants in the region. Available information includes company profiles, maximum processing capacity for Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB), number of employees, incoming palm oil volume, oil yield, kernel yield, and average annual oil yield.

Abstract

A facial recognition-based security system for filing cabinets using ESP32-CAM and the face-api.js library is designed as a modern solution to enhance the security of storing important documents in office or organizational environments. This system utilizes facial recognition technology as a biometric authentication method, offering greater reliability compared to conventional systems. The ESP32-CAM serves as the device that captures users' facial images in real-time and transmits them to a web interface for further processing. Facial detection and feature extraction are performed using the face-api.js library, built on top of TensorFlow.js, leveraging deep learning techniques based on Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN). The models employed include TinyFaceDetector for face detection, faceLandmark68Net for determining facial landmark points, and faceRecognitionNet for generating a 128-dimensional face descriptor. Registered facial data is stored in a web-based database, allowing significantly greater storage capacity compared to local storage in the ESP32-CAM's memory. Verification is conducted by comparing the detected face descriptor against stored data using the FaceMatcher algorithm with a threshold of 0.6. Testing results indicate that the system can accurately recognize faces under adequate lighting conditions, although performance decreases under low-light intensity. This integration of hardware and software provides a more efficient and modern security solution.
