Abstract

Nowadays, students are very active in using financial technology as a means of payment or investment. For this reason, good financial literacy and resilience are needed to maintain financial well-being in the future. This study aims to examine financial literacy and financial resilience in Accounting Study Program students from a gender perspective. The research method used a quantitative descriptive approach. A total of 156 active students of Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha became respondents. Data were collected using a financial literacy test and a financial resilience questionnaire. The results showed that the average level of financial literacy was moderate. Viewed from a gender perspective, the average financial literacy of women (M=9,36) is higher than that of men (M=9,31). However, the average financial resilience of men (M=50,72) is higher than that of women (M=50,15). Based on financial literacy indicators, men have a better understanding of the concepts of investment and insurance. Meanwhile, women have a better understanding of basic financial concepts and credit management. Based on financial resilience indicators, men have a better ability to control money, the ability to manage financial stress, and have financial planning. Women are able to watch their spending and have a better financial cushion. Financial literacy is positively correlated to financial resilience with a correlation value of 0,134 (p=0,047). These results indicate that there is a significant relationship between financial literacy and financial resilience. The higher a person's financial literacy will increase their financial resilience.

Abstract

This study aims to empirically examine the influence of motivation, organizational culture, and job satisfaction on employee performance at the Gerokgak I Community Health Center, Buleleng Regency. The population consisted of all 59 employees, and a saturated sampling technique was applied, resulting in the entire population being used as the research sample. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire using a 5-point Likert scale. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with the assistance of IBM SPSS version 25. The results indicate that motivation (β = 0.525; p < 0.001), organizational culture (β = 0.263; p = 0.010), and job satisfaction (β = 0.244; p = 0.005) each have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Among these variables, motivation emerged as the most influential factor, as indicated by the highest standardized coefficient. Simultaneously, the three independent variables significantly affect employee performance (F = 68.460; p < 0.001), with a coefficient of determination (R² = 0.789), indicating that 78.9% of the variance in employee performance can be explained by the model. These findings highlight the importance of strengthening employee motivation, supported by a conducive organizational culture and improved job satisfaction, to enhance performance in public healthcare institutions.

Abstract

The development of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), particularly restaurants in Desa Adat Legian, Kuta District, Badung Regency—one of Bali’s main tourism destinations—has faced increasingly intense competition due to the growing number of business actors. This study aims to analyze the factors influencing restaurant success in coping with such competitive pressures. A descriptive quantitative approach was employed with a population of 63 restaurant units. Data were collected through interviews, questionnaires, and documentation, and analyzed using descriptive statistics, validity and reliability tests, as well as Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA), preceded by the Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin (KMO) test and Bartlett’s Test of Sphericity. The results indicate that all research indicators were suitable for analysis and formed a single dominant, integrated factor comprising internal factors, external factors, customer-related factors, and the business environment. These findings confirm that restaurant success is not determined by a single variable, but rather by the synergy of effective business management strategies, adaptability to competitive dynamics, and a thorough understanding of customer needs in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

Learning activity and learning outcomes are important indicators of successful economics learning. Previous studies have demonstrated that the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model and the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) cooperative learning model are effective in improving learning quality. However, studies integrating these two models to enhance students' learning activity and learning outcomes in economics through classroom action research remain limited. Therefore, this study aimed to determine: (1) the improvement of students’ learning activity, (2) the improvement of students’ learning outcomes, and (3) students’ responses after the implementation of the combined PBL and TGT learning models in Class XA of SMA Negeri 1 Sawan. This study employed Classroom Action Research (CAR), conducted in two cycles involving 34 students of Class XA at SMA Negeri 1 Sawan. Data were collected through observation, achievement tests, and questionnaires, and were analyzed using descriptive quantitative techniques. The results showed that students’ learning activity increased from 72.08 in Cycle I to 88.66 in Cycle II. Learning mastery also improved from 58.82% in Cycle I to 82.35% in Cycle II, while students’ responses toward the learning implementation were categorized as highly positive, with an average score of 81.76. In conclusion, the integration of the PBL and TGT learning models effectively improved students’ learning activity and learning outcomes and can serve as an alternative instructional strategy to promote more active, collaborative, and student-centered economics learning.
