Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze how the tourism village brand strategy in Bali can strengthen the village’s image. The methods are descriptive qualitative (interviews) and quantitative (survey). Eight key informants who are involved in managing the tourism village were interviewed. The sampling technique for the survey was purposive, involving 126 tourists who have visited the tourism villages. Thematic analysis was conducted for the qualitative data; whereas, multiple linear regression was used to analysed the quantitative data. The findings are brand equity and conceptual branding strategy in tourism village have been implemented, however, they need to be optimalized to strengthen the village tourism’s image. The finding from the quantitative data shows that the brand relationship significantly strengthens the image of the tourism village. This research implies that there is a necessity for tourism villages in Bali to design and implement more specific branding methods and set specific purposes so that the new positioning will distinguish them from their competitors and hence, directly strengthen the image.

Abstract

This research has a specific purpose: (i) determine the potential ofcoastal area can be developed as a tourism product, (ii) Knowing constraints arefaced in developing the tourism potential, and (iii) determine strategies that can beused in developing the tourism potential of the coast as a creative tourism productsYeh Gangga Beach, Sudimara village, Tabanan Bali. The general objective to beachieved is to improve the performance of the tourism sector in the welfare ofsociety Tabanan through sustainable tourism development by developing creativepotential.. The research found that (i) Yeh Gangga Beach has some potential creativityattraction, such as: art market, handycraft,video and photography, music and artperformance, scenery, and accomodation; (ii) The main problems encounteredare (i) Most strategic land has been switched ownership to investors. The strategyshould be applied is (i) Maintain Yeh Gangga Beach as tourist attraction developedTabanan through local regulations, (ii) increasing public awareness of tourism. Theimplications are (i) theoretically enriching literature of sustainability in tourismcoastal area, (ii) practically could enhance the government to develop coastaltourism in Tabanan Bali.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of promotion and brand image of consumer' decision to buy drinks at Blu Bar de Vins Sky Hotel Seminyak, Bali since tight competation arise among providers to attract costumers. The study stated five problems such as partial impact of promotion and brand image, simultaneously impact of these variables, the stonger variable in impacting consumer' decision and the amount of these variables impact. The population in this study were consumers of Blu Bar de Vins Sky Hotel Seminyak, Bali with a total sample of 90 respondens. Data collected by questioner, interview and documentation then analyzed by multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of analysis, there are five conclusions, such as (a) Promotion had positive and significant impact to consumer' decision to buy drinks at Blu Bar; (b) Brand image had positive and significant impact of consumer' decision to buy drinks at Blu Bar; (c) Promotion and brand image simultaneously had positive and significant impact to consumer’ decisions in buying drinks at Blu Bar; (d) Brand image brings more impact in influencing consumer decisions to buy drinks at Blu Bar; and (e) Promotion and brand image bring 77,4 % impact to consumer' decision to buy drinks at Blu Bar de Vins Sky Hotel Seminyak, Bali de Vins Sky Hotel Seminyak, Bali. Thus, the rest 23,6 % could be influenced by other factors such are prize and location which are not studied in this research.

Abstract

This research is behind the phenomena of motivation and physical work environment that are still lacking in Fave Hotel Kuta Bali. physical. which is still not conducive to be considered as an inhibiting factor in improving employee performance This study aims to analyze and prove the influence of motivation and physical work environment on employee performance. This research uses a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The sample technique used is the nonprobability sampling technique, which is saturated sampling. The number of respondents who used 75 Fave Hotel Kuta employees. Multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS software version 23. Regression equation obtained: Y = 0.570-0.302X1 + 0.268X2. The results of this study indicate that; First, motivation has a positive influence on employee performance at Fave Hotel Kuta. Second, the physical work environment has a positive effect on employee performance at Fave Hotel Kuta. Third, the magnitude of the influence contributed by motivation and physical work environment on employee performance at Fave Hotel Kuta is 57.0% Some suggestions that can be conveyed from this study include; the absence of a better future guarantee from fave hotel kuta by some employees as well as from indicators of social needs namely lack of interaction between employees at work, lighting indicators can be overcome by moving the lights in strategic places and not blinding the eyes

Abstract

The Mangusada Regional Hospital has a good vision and mission in its planning but in reality the vision and mission are still experiencing obstacles and several obstacles, especially in the management of human resources, especially in the inpatient department, so this has become a problem that has not been resolved until now. This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of work performance and organizational climate on employee job satisfaction in the inpatient department of the Mangusada Regional Hospital, Badung Regency. Based on the results of statistical testing it was found that both simultaneously and partially the variables of work performance and organizational climate had a positive effect on employee job satisfaction in the inpatient department of the Mangusada Regional Hospital, Badung Regency. For this reason, the Mangusada Regional Hospital, Badung Regency, is advised to pay more attention to work performance factors and organizational climate together because these two factors have a major role in increasing or decreasing employee job satisfaction.

Abstract

During the Covid-19 Pandemic, many villas were closed, but many rural communities still needed to rebuild tourism. This study aimed to analyze local communities' involvement in packaging tourism villages in Cepaka and Petak villages during the Covid 19 pandemic to make them sustainable. This research is qualitative. Data and information are collected from stakeholders who are the primary sources. The informants were ten people in Petak village and 16 in Cepaka village. Focus group discussions (FGDs) were conducted in two villages, and in-depth interviews were conducted with all key informants using structured interview guidelines. The data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative analysis. The findings of this study are spontaneous and induced community involvement in packaging the potential for village tourism and spiritual nature to provide economic, social, and environmental benefits. Developing tourist destinations that consider social, economic, and environmental values ​​​​has a balanced impact on society and business and ensures sustainability. Touches digital marketing creativity in packaging, improves product display quality, and accelerates information dissemination with unlimited coverage. The packaging of the Cepaka tourism village and the Petak spiritual nature tourism through synergy and collaboration with MSMEs and stakeholders enhances the destination's image.

Abstract

This research is to analyze strategies that must be carried out by Four Points by Sheraton Bali, Kuta to increase sales volume. The analysis technique used in this study is a SWOT analysis technique consisting of IFAS, EFAS, IFE, EFE, and IE. The procedure for collecting data uses the method of observation, interviews, and surveys. The sample used in this study is purposive sampling technique where the respondents consisted of 10 people, the Director of Sales and Marketing ( respondents 1), Director of Operation (respondents 2), Account Sales Manager (respondents 3), Executive Sales (respondents 4), Sales Admin (respondents 5), Digital Marketing Manager (respondents 6), Marketing Comuncation Manager (respondent 7), Graphic Designer (respondent 8), Reservation (respondents 9 and 10). The results of this research are Four Points by Sheraton Bali, Kuta in column I, where the right strategy is market penetration strategy, market development strategy, product development strategy. The implication of this research is that it can be used as a reference in maintaining the sustainability of Four Points by Sheraton Bali, Kuta.

Abstract

This research is in the background of the phenomenon of employee turnover or high labour turnover in tourism sector especially employees at Harper Hotel Kuta. The research aims to analyse and prove the impact of financial compensation, workload and the working environment on turnover intention. This research uses a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The technique of sample used is with nonprobability sampling technique, namely by sampling saturated. Number of respondents used 65 employees Harper Hotel Kuta. Analysis of multiple linear regression using SPSS software version 23. Acquired regression equation: Y = 30.664-0, 466X1 + 0, 600X2 – 0, 232X3. The results of this study show that; First, financial compensation negatively affects the turnover intention employees of Harper Hotel Kuta. Secondly, the workload has a positive effect on the turnover of intention employees at Harper Hotel Kuta. Third, the work environment negatively affects the turnover intention employees of Harper Hotel Kuta. Fourth, the magnitude of influence donated by financial compensation, the workload and the working environment of the turnover intention employees of Harper Hotel Kuta is 52.3%. Some of the suggestions that can be conveyed from this study include; Empower employee cooperatives to support the welfare of employees, see the suitability of job description and job spesification, conduct routine maintenance of tools and machines and ensure the safety of employees in doing work.

Abstract

The village is an Indonesian wealth that has the potential to be developed in the tourism sector in realizing prosperity for all Indonesian people. However, there are still many resources in the village that are not well managed. This study aims to: i) identify tourism potential, ii) formulate strategies based on strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats, iii) formulate a brand loyalty model in Wanagiri Kauh Tabanan Bali Village in developing tourism as a village in the national rural area, iv) compile a village potential development plan towards rural tourism. The method used is quantitative and qualitative methods. The quantitative method uses Structural Equation Modeling to form a brand loyalty model with antecedents of Brand Image, Brand Awareness, Service Quality, and Customer Satisfaction. The number of samples is 200 tourists who have visited. Meanwhile, the qualitative methods used include SWOT, and in-depth interviews. The results showed that Wanagiri Kauh Village: i) has natural and cultural tourism potential, ii) tourism potential development strategy by presenting uniqueness as the basis for development, iii) brand loyalty model is largely determined by customer satisfaction, brand awareness, service quality and brand image, iv) development planning by managing all resources through the management function by involving the tourism stakeholder Penta helix.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine guest satisfaction at the BBCO restaurant at the JW Marriott Bangkok Hotel. The independent variables used are product quality and service quality. This study uses a questionnaire method in obtaining related data and information for analysis. The data used in this study are primary data obtained from the results of filling out questionnaires by having used the BBCO Restaurant product at the JW Marriott Bangkok Hotel, totaling 85 guests. Sampling in this study used a purposive sampling technique with a sampling technique through the number of indicators multiplied by a margin of error of 5%. The number of samples in this study were 85 respondents. The data analysis method used is the classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis. This study uses the t-test to determine the significance of the effect of the product quality and service quality variables on the guest satisfaction variable partially and the F-test to test the simultaneous effect of all independent variables on the dependent variable. The results of this study indicate that the independent variables, namely product quality and service quality, have a positive and significant effect on guest satisfaction at the BBCO Restaurant at the JW Marriott Hotel Bangkok. The results of the coefficient of determination show that the influence of product quality and service quality on guest satisfaction has an influence percentage of 40.6%.
