Abstract

A tourism village is a community consisting of residents of a limited area who can interact directly with each other under management and have awareness and awareness to play a role together by adapting different individual skills. Tourism villages are formed to realize the community so that they can act as direct actors in an effort to increase readiness and awareness in responding to tourism potential or tourist attractions in the area of each village. This study aims to formulate a development strategy for the tourism village of Aan as a tourism destination in Klungkung. Aan Village has enormous potential but faces a number of obstacles in its development. This is indicated by the diversity of tourism potentials originating from nature, culture and man-made tourist attractions. The research was conducted through a qualitative descriptive analysis using SWOT analysis to find strategies for developing the potential of the Aan tourism village and tourism area life cycle analysis. Data collection techniques through observation, in-depth interviews, documentation and literature study. Retrieval of informants was done by purposive sampling. The results of the study show that to maximize the development of the attractiveness of Aan Village as a tourist destination, it is necessary to develop strategies and programs such as community empowerment, development of supporting infrastructure, and collaboration with stakeholders and the private sector in creating sustainable programs

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine guest satisfaction at the BBCO restaurant at the JW Marriott Bangkok Hotel. The independent variables used are product quality and service quality. This study uses a questionnaire method in obtaining related data and information for analysis. The data used in this study are primary data obtained from the results of filling out questionnaires by having used the BBCO Restaurant product at the JW Marriott Bangkok Hotel, totaling 85 guests. Sampling in this study used a purposive sampling technique with a sampling technique through the number of indicators multiplied by a margin of error of 5%. The number of samples in this study were 85 respondents. The data analysis method used is the classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis. This study uses the t-test to determine the significance of the effect of the product quality and service quality variables on the guest satisfaction variable partially and the F-test to test the simultaneous effect of all independent variables on the dependent variable. The results of this study indicate that the independent variables, namely product quality and service quality, have a positive and significant effect on guest satisfaction at the BBCO Restaurant at the JW Marriott Hotel Bangkok. The results of the coefficient of determination show that the influence of product quality and service quality on guest satisfaction has an influence percentage of 40.6%.

Abstract

Sektor pariwisata di Bali memainkan peran penting dalam menggerakkan perekonomian masyarakat. Upaya pengembangan pariwisata berbasis masyarakat diharapkan dapat berlanjut untuk jangka waktu yang lama. Baru-baru ini, pengembangan pariwisata spiritual di Bali semakin banyak menjadi topik pembicaraan. Pemerintah sedang mendorong pariwisata spiritual sebagai salah satu alternatif pariwisata yang dikembangkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kelayakan dari Penglukatan Pancoran Solas Taman Beji Paluh untuk dikembangkan menjadi daya tarik wisata berdasarkan aspek komponen destinasi pariwisata, seperti attraction, accessibilites, amenities, dan ancillary service. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode observasi, wawancara, dan studi pustaka dengan analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa “Penglukatan Pancoran Solas Taman Beji Paluh” layak untuk dikembangkan menjadi daya tarik wisata guna menjadi alternatif bagi wisatawan dalam memilih destinasi yang dikunjungi. Kelayakan ini dilihat dari fasilitas komponen pariwisata yang dimiliki, seperti: Pura tempat sembahyang, tempat suci untuk melukat, tempat parkir, restoran, ruang ganti pakaian, toilet, tempat penjualan sarana sembayang, dan puskesmas di wilayah desa.

Abstract

This research aims to identify marketing adaptation strategies carried out by The ONE Legian Hotel in facing changes in the demographics of Indian tourist visits. This research uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of in-depth interviews and observations related to hotel marketing through the 7P marketing mix analysis technique. The research results show that The ONE Legian Hotel has implemented several marketing adaptation strategies to attract Indian tourists. First, the hotel increases promotions through popular platform online sites in India, such as travel websites and social media. Additionally, they also collaborate with local travel agents in India to expand their marketing network. The hotel also adapts the product offerings according to the needs and preferences of Indian tourists, such as providing a vegetarian menu. With the characteristics of Indian guests who tend to be careful in spending and have high expectations, this hotel offers competitive prices and attentive service to avoid complaints. In addition, there are also changes in trends and preferences of Indian tourists that hotels need to continuously monitor and respond to. Thus, this research provides valuable insights for the hospitality industry, especially for hotels seeking to adapt their marketing strategies to the changing demographics of Indian tourist visits. The practical implication of this research is the importance of continuously monitoring and adapting marketing strategies according to changing market needs and preferences.

Abstract

Bakas Village, Banjarangkan District, Klungkung Regency, is one of the tourist villages in Klungkung Regency based on Klungkung Regent Regulation Number 2 of 2017 concerning the Establishment of Tourism Villages and Decree Number 82 of 2018 concerning the Establishment of the Bakas Village Tourism Awareness Group (POKDARWIS). Since being designated as a tourist village, the number of tourists visiting Bakas village every day is only 15 people, which is far from the target visit program launched by the Bakas Village Tourism Awareness Group of 2000 tourists visiting every month or approximately 66 tourists every day. The purpose of this research is to find out the right strategy in developing tourism in Bakas Village. The research was conducted using descriptive qualitative analysis with data collection techniques in the form of observation, documentation study and in-depth interviews. Based on the research analysis, it shows that the mapping of the potential of Bakas Tourism Village is very large, spelled out from diverse tourism products ranging from natural, cultural, and artificial tourism attraction products, especially the concept of community-faced tourism, supported by supporting facilities and adequate access routes. The obstacles faced by Bakas Tourism Village in marketing are the lack of adequate human resources to carry out marketing systems, especially when promoting on social media, and there is uncertainty in the price of each Bakas village tourism product. Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 yang terjadi di hampir seluruh negara di dunia telah mempengaruhi kehidupan pariwisata, terutama bagi daerah-daerah yang menjadi tujuan wisata, salah satunya yaitu di desa wisata Kamasan, Klungkung. Desa wisata Kamasan selama ini dikenal sebagai daerah tujuan wisata bagi wisatawan yang ingin melihat, membeli serta belajar bagaimana seni lukis klasik tradisional Bali, selain terdapat jenis hasil seni lainnya seperti seni ukir emas dan perak, selongsong peluru dan uang kepeng. Hampir sebagian besar masyarakat Kamasan yang berprofesi sebagai seniman menggantungkan perekonomian dari pariwisata, sehingga adanya pendemi Covid-19 memberikan dampak yang signifikan. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk melihat eksistensi yang dilakukan pelukis wayang klasik Kamasan ditengah pandemi Covid-19. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, studi dokumentasi dan wawancara mendalam. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelukis wayang Kamasan tetap bertahan ditengah pandemi dengan melakukan berbagai inovasi baik dari segi penjualan dan pemasaran produk maupun mengusung tema yang berbeda untuk lukisan yang dihasilkan, meskipun penghasilan yang diperoleh masih jauh dari sebelum pendemi terjadi. Produk lukisan wayang Kamasan merupakan budaya warisan yang wajib dipertahankan keberadaannya, sehingga diperlukan berbagai upaya untuk keberlanjutannya, salah satunya melalui - regerasi anak-anak di Kamasan melalui sanggar seni. Abstract

The development of Aan Village into a tourist village has begun in 2021 where all communities are involved. The advantages possessed by this village are tourist attractions such as Aan Secret Waterfall, Sukanta Wahyu, Bukit Kembar and Petapan Park. The objectives of this study are 1) Know the development of tourism based on the 4A concept that has been done, and 2) Know the application of the concept of sustainable tourism in Aan Tourism Village. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques such as observation, interviews and literature studies. The results of this study found that at this time the development of tourism based on the 4A concept, especially in terms of tourist attraction, is being intensified including natural, cultural and artificial attractions. In addition, improving road access and tourism facilities is being pursued by tourism village managers and village governments. The application of sustainable tourism principles can be applied well considering that this tourism village is still included in the pilot category. Not only from the environmental side but also from the economic and cultural side of the local community. The community is involved in the planning, management, and supervision stages which can provide a sense of ownership and maintain their tourist attractions. Abstract

Gianyar Botanical Gardens is one of the natural attractions located in Gianyar Regency. The Gianyar BotanicalGardens has beautiful, cool and still beautiful natural potential that provides comfort for visitors to touristattractions, and has supporting potential such as cultural tourism and local wisdom such as the Bali Agatradition, Bali Age Architecture, and Gelagar Dance where this local wisdom is only owned by Kerta TourismVillage. In the development there are problems that hinder its implementation, including budget limitations forthe cost of facilities and infrastructure for tourist objects such as infrastructure, road conditions and otherfacilities that support the existence of the Gianyar Botanical Gardens tourist attraction. Lack of promotion oftourist objects, the need for empowerment of local communities about tourism and tourism development. Thisstudy aims to analyze the right strategy in the development of the Gianyar Botanical Gardens tourism object.The method used in this study is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. This study uses a theorybased on a SWOT analysis. The results of this study indicate that the right strategy to be used in thedevelopment of the Gianyar Botanical Gardens is a strategy for utilizing natural potential, cultural tourism andlocal wisdom to support the existence of the Gianyar Botanical Garden tourism object to increase touristattraction in Gianyar Regency, a strategy for strengthening local community awareness institutions indevelopment of tourism objects and strategies to increase the capacity and role of rural communities throughthe village government in developing tourism objects of the Gianyar Botanical Gardens.Keywords: Strategy, Development, Garden, Local Wisdom

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of work motivation and communication on employee morale. This research was conducted at Rimba Jimbaran Bali Hotel. The population in this study were all employees of Rimba Jimbaran Bali Hotel, totaling 162 employees. The sample was determined using the Slovin formula and the proportionate random sampling method with a total sample of 62 employees. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires. The data analysis technique used was multiple linear regression analysis. The analysis techniques used were validity and reliability tests, classic assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, multiple correlation analysis, multiple determination analysis t test and F test. Data analysis conducted using SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Science) for Windows, version 26.0. From the results of statistical analysis, the regression coefficient value between work motivation and employee morale is 0.455; t-count value is greater than t-table (5.004>1.671). The regression coefficient value between communication and employee morale is 0.359; t-count value is greater than t-table (3.678>1.671). The multiple linear regression equation is Y= 1.061 + 0.455(X1) + 0.359(X2); F-count value is greater than F-table (60.870>3.15). This means that the independent variable has a positive and significant influence on the dependent variable. From the results of this study it can be concluded that there is a positive and significant influence between Work Motivation and Communication on Employee Morale either partially or simultaneously.
