Abstract

Diversity of managing data caused by some application that have same function and data. In monitoring and evaluation process of loan project, there are 2 applications that have diversity problem. Those application are e-Monitoring and database Monev. The condition of Information Technology infrastructure also impact the applications performance. Application portfolio is crystallized from information system strategy, information technology strategy and managing information system strategy that have been developed before, so that the portfolio could be one solution to handle diversity problem. In this research, application portfolio will be developed by using IS/IT (Information System/Information Technology) Strategic Model of J.Ward and J.Peppard.Index Terms : IS/IT strategy, application portfolio

Abstract

Recently enterprises tend to develop web-basedapplication to deal with their business process. Withnumerous applications, enterprise must manage user foreach application and how to access those application in agood manner. Application portal with single-sign-onapproach is one alternative in managing user and enterpriseapplications. Single-sign-on approach can reduce thenecessaries to remember login information to eachapplication by user. As a solution in web-based contentmanagement system, Drupal is one alternative to manageboth issues above. Combined with LDAP (LightweightDirectory Access Protocol) to support single-sign-onapproach, LDAP integration module for Drupal is needed.This module will authenticate user information from LDAPserver. After LDAP authentication, the next problem is howto use the authenticated user information to sign onenterprise application. Other module needs to be developedsolve the problem.

Abstract

Today, digital technology is entering people’s life in many of forms, including digital images.  As the increase of digital images quality, the size and dimension is bigger as well. Problem such as uploading time arises. Tools to make image file smaller in both size and dimension instantly is needed especially for instant purpose like sending via email or upload to social network sites. Developed in .Net Framework environment, Instant Image Resizer software will try to be one of tool that work instantly for resizing image. As resampling method, HighQualityBicubic will be used to achieve optimum quality. As user interface, this tool will use shortcut menu on Windows Operating System so user can access easily and instantly can give resize command to image file. Shortcut menu will be use context menu handler to handle verbs and file association that related to image in Windows Operating System. Abstract

Abstract – Nowadays, information technology is used to support many kinds of organization activities. In education organization, such as Engineering Faculty of Diponegoro University, one of many activities that needs to be supported by application is about to share idea and discussion between people who collaborates in there. To support this kind of activity, web based application is one solution that can be build considering of the raise of Web 2.0 technology which enable people to interact each other and shares many kind of digital resources. Abstract

Department of Computer system Diponegoro University , Faculty of Engineering is one of the majors are still young . The department has several areas of specialization for students . Areas of specialization include Software Engineering , Computer Networks , Embedded Systems and Robotics and Multimedia . Majors but it also has some buildings that are used as a laboratory , classroom and centralized administration . To help facilitate students and the general public in recognizing or knowing the location of each of the buildings with the development of computer technology can be facilitated . One technology that can be applied is by using augmented reality technology which is combined with mobile communication devices . This study uses peracangan software system using the waterfall model . This model is a systematic approach and sequence ranging from system level requirements and then headed to the stage of analysis , design , coding , testing / verification , and maintenance . Referred to as step -by-step waterfall that must be passed pending the completion of the previous stage and run sequentially . System testing performed by menggukan black box testing which aims to determine the functionality of the system . System testing that has been done is stated that the system is run in accordance with what is expected . Testing the functionality of the system can be run on mobile devices with android operating system version of the jelly bean .

Abstract

Abstract – Nowadays, information technology has been entering new era of cloud computing, whereas internet user can save and manipulate their file using the cloud. For more, not only provides storage and manipulation function, cloud can be used for document approval between employee to their manager. One of many solution to accommodate the needs mentioned above is sharepoint application by Microsoft. Web application maintained by sharepoint can be used as user interface to collaborate between users. To support document sharing and manipulation, sharepoint can be integrated with Office Web Application (OWA). By using OWA, user will meet experience using Microsoft Office through web browser. Considering Microsoft Office used by most people, the integration between sharepoint as web application farm and Office Web Application can be an altertative to enter cloud computing era

Abstract

Online social networks nowadays are not only used to connect individual users, but also become an opportunity that have been used by small business to offer products to other users by sharing information about their products and receiving order through social networks, even though most of the businesses already have website to work on it. The next challenge is to integrate the process above between business website and online social networks. This paper starts by providing overview about how businesses use online social network for commercial or marketing activities. By utilizing the Application Programming Interface (API) provided by online social networks, this study intends to explore the opportunities of integration between online social networks with the website that has been owned by the business

Abstract

In this research, a hovercraft was developed as a transportation tool to carry an I-Bylogical Enzyme (I-BE) biosensor. The main function of the biosensor is to measure the level of dangerous chemical materials from factory’s liquid waste. Hence, fiber and acrylic materials, that widely known for its resistance to chemical reaction, are needed to build the hovercraft. By using Atmega 8535 microcontroller and Arduino Uno board, a remote control was choosen to navigate hovercraft’s movement with support of 6 channels Transmitter Receiver. As a result, after series of tests that were carried out, indicate that the hovercraft’s prototype was found to meet design and requirements expectation.

Abstract

Di dunia yang semakin pesat perkembangannya, proses otomasisasi sudah menjadi hal yang umum. Otomatisasi sering digunakan untuk menghemat tenaga dan untuk pengurangan tingkat kesalahan yang disebabkan oleh manusia. Begitu juga halnya dalam kasus pada kolam ikan yang tidak setiap waktu dapat kita tinjau dari segi perawatan kolam dan pemberian pakan. masalah seperti ini dapat merugikan peternak ataupun penggemar ikan yang sibuk dan tidak mempunyai waktu untuk perawatan kolam. Dalam proses pelaksanaannya, hampir semua pemberian pakan ikan masih diisi secara manual, begitu halnya dengan pengontrolan kadar PH yang dilakukan dengan takaran yang tidak sesuai. Sehingga perlu adanya pembuatan alat pemberi pakan ikan dan pengtrol PH secara otomatis. Pembuatan alat ini, bertujuan untuk mempermudah pemilik ikan dalam melakukan pemberian pakan, serta membantu dalam pengontrolan PH kolam. Alat ini juga dilengkapi dengan LCD yang menunjukkan setiap beberapa jam akan dilakukan pemberian pakan dan index PH kolam saat ini.
