Abstract

Tanjung Alai Village is in The XIII District of Koto Kampar Riau Province, downstream of The Gulamo River with The Kampar River. The local government of Kampar Regency has develop tourism potential in Tanjung Alai Village. For example it has traction in the form of beautiful natural scenery, the distance from the city of Pekanbaru to Tanjung Alai Village about 2 hours (21 km), the catchment area, the historical site of the Muara Takus Temple, Puncak Pukatan as a climbing and Pulo Simo waterfall area. Tanjung Alai Village too has potential as rubber, oil palm, gambier, chocolate and coconut plantations. Coconut palm has opportunities with high economic value, utilized by community to diversify coconut processed products and support industrial products food preparations. The purpose of the activity is to make Tanjung Alai Village a target village from LPPM University of Riau by doing coconut jelly and candied coconut processing activities. Benefits of activities that can be used as an alternative effort to improve the welfare of the community and entrepreneurship. The method used is a combination of counseling and the practice of using coconut jelly and candied coconut. Strategic target audience in the activities of the target villages there were 25 PKK mothers. The evaluation results of the participants perception stated that it was very agreeable (59,2%) held this activity, received and practiced the training of coconut jelly and candied coconut as an opportunity for alternative income for the community. Economic analysis of processed coconut jelly amounted to IDR. 4.653.600/month and candied coconut is IDR. 2.248.800/month.

Abstract

Jackfruit is a fruit that is quite common in RT 03 Buluh Rampai Village. The lack of utilization of jackfruit in RT 03 in its processing is still not optimal so it is necessary to innovate in processing jackfruit into a food that is liked by the wider community and can maintain the product's shelf life. One method of processing jackfruit that can maintain the product's shelf life is marmalade. Marmalade is a semi-solid snack in the form of a gel with the main ingredients namely sugar, pectin and pieces of fruit. The purpose of this field activity is to provide education about understanding the benefits and effectiveness of jackfruit in being transformed into an innovative, renewable product, namely marmalade. The working procedure approach in this activity includes the initial stages of observation, socialization and implementation. The result obtained is that the community can utilize jackfruit in a renewable processed product, namely marmalade products. Marmalade products produced through this training can be used as a product innovation development by the community, so that later the community can develop and increase micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Buluh Rampai village for diversification.

Abstract

Penanaman nilai-nilai sejarah dan budaya sejak dini memiliki peran penting dalam membentuk identitas dan jati diri anak. Penelitian mini ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi bagaimana sejarah dan budaya Melayu dapat berkontribusi dalam membangun identitas anak sejak usia dini, baik melalui pendidikan formal maupun nonformal. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi pustaka dan observasi sederhana pada lingkungan pendidikan di wilayah Melayu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengenalan unsur budaya seperti bahasa, adat istiadat, kesenian, dan cerita rakyat Melayu dapat memperkuat rasa percaya diri, rasa memiliki, dan kebanggaan terhadap identitas lokal pada anak. Selain itu, peran keluarga, sekolah, dan masyarakat juga sangat penting dalam proses internalisasi nilai-nilai budaya tersebut. Kesimpulannya, integrasi sejarah dan budaya Melayu dalam pendidikan anak usia dini merupakan langkah strategis dalam menjaga warisan budaya sekaligus membentuk karakter generasi muda yang berakar pada nilai-nilai lokal.
