Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui : (1) Tingkat kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan berpikir kritis siswa dengan menggunakan model kombinasi NHT-STAD, (2) Perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan berpikir kritis siswa antara siswa kelas rata-rata tertinggi dengan siswa kelas rata-rata terendah. Populasinya adalah seluruh siswa kelas X SMAN 1 Kubu Babussalam tahun pelajaran 2015 / 2016. Sampel diambil dengan teknik sampling purposive yaitu kelas nilai rata-rata tertinggi dan kelas dengan nilai rata-rata terendah. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah dengan menggunakan analisis bivariat yang dilakukan pada dua variabel untuk mengetahui perbedaan. Uji yang digunakan adalah uji mann whitney. Berdasarkan analisis data, dapat disajikan hasil penelitian sebagai berikut: (1) tingkat kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan kritis siswa dari setiap pertemuan mengalami peningkatan baik di kelas rata-rata tertinggi ataupun di kelas rata-rata terendah, dan (2) terdapat perbedaan tingkat kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan berpikir kritis siswa antara kelas rata-rata tertinggi dengan siswa kelas rata-rata terendah, hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil uji mann whitney dimana kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa memiliki nilai sig 0,000 < 0,05 dan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa memiliki nilai sig 0,002 < 0,05.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of student satisfaction in teaching andlearning in Teacher Training and Education Economics Education Studies ProgramUniversity of Riau. In addition to knowing which variables to give satisfaction to thestudent and the strategic implications of research results in order to increase studentsatisfaction in the future? In this study the respondents are 90 students forEconomic Education based quotas layered random method from each stratum /force taken the same amount as the sample that is force 2007.2008, and 2009.While the determination of the respondents use the lottery (random). Methods ofdata collection in this study using questionnaire and analytical techniques used toprocess the data is the technique of importance-performance analysis (Importance-Performance Analysis).The results showed that the level of student satisfaction FKIPEconomics Education Studies Program University of Riau as a whole includingclassification quite satisfied. This is reflected by the analysis match between thelevel of implementation of learning by the faculty with the level of student interestyield of 68.88%. Of 35 variables analyzed then there are 12 (twelve) variables thathave not been giving satisfaction and 18 (eighteen) variable is already showingsatisfaction. Strategic implications of research results to improve student satisfactionis to give priority to the variables that according to the student to have such highinterest rates, the schedule of consultations provided by the Economics EducationStudies Program faculty, lecturers return answer sheets UTS values and UAS,lecturer announces exam results timely, and professors pay attention to theprogress of students, lecturers understand the learning difficulties faced by students,and faculty foster student interest and enthusiasm in learning. Variables that havegiven such satisfaction, a lecturer at the first lecture describes the topics that matterwill be studied for one semester, a lecturer at the first lecture describes the contractteruberkaitan lecture about lecturing system, materials, perunjukan or reference,rules and forms of job evaluation systems, lecturers over matter courses, lecturersare able to explain properly, the assessment standards provided by the lecturers,lecturers use the media / learning aids that fit and attractive (sepert OHP, using theLCD, film, or images, etc.), and lecturer use language and how to communicate aclear, attractive, easily understood, and good and right.

Abstract

The character development of entrepreneurship in formal education in line with thenational policy in the field of education, which has prepared the concept ofentrepreneurship-based curriculum for all levels of education. The researchobjective was to assess the entrepreneurial character of teachers SMA NegeriKecamatan Tambang, Kampar district. This is a descriptive quantitative researchconducted by survey. The sample was 114 teachers. Data were collected using aquestionnaire which is based on Likert scale of five options, and the data wereanalyzed using descriptive statistics and statistical inference. This study found thatthe entrepreneurial character of teachers SMA Negeri Kecamatan Tambang,Kampar district viewed by 16 indicators obtained very high value Mean 4, 27 andStandard Deviasi 0.86. Meaning, the entrepreneurial character of teachers has beenvery good, all the indicators are already owned by the teacher with an excellent andvery high, but still needs to be improved by strengthening the entrepreneurialcharacter in the learning activities, with the coaching aspects relating to indicators.The results of this study will be as well as teaching materials and self-improvementof the entrepreneurial character, especially in the educational institution, teachersand students, in order to realize the will of Law Number 20 Year 2003 on NationalEducation System Article 3, which states that the national education serves todevelop skills and character development and civilization of the nation's dignity inthe context of the intellectual life of the nation, aims to develop the potential oflearners to be a man of faith and fear of God Almighty, noble, healthy,knowledgeable, skilled, creative, independent, and become citizens democratic andresponsible.
