Abstract

Abstract: The objective of this research was to develop the students’ activity paper in chemistry lesson subject Reaction Rate. The type of this research was reserach and development (R & D) with the development model 4-D. This Reseach was conducted in FKIP UR. The object of this research was the students’ activity paper based on problem solving. The data analysis technique used for this research was descriptive statistic descriptive. The descriptive analysis done by calculated the percentage of validation value. The validation done with the four aspect, such as the content properness aspect with the average score is 93,12%, the language properness with the average score is 95%, course with the average score is 86,25% and the graphical with the average score is 85,93%. Based on the result of the validator, the writer obtained the average score 90,07% which is in valid criteria, means that the development of students’ activity paper based problem solving in chemistry lesson subject reaction rate is proper to be use.Key words: Students’ activity paper, Problem Solving, Reaction Rate

Abstract

Abstract : Research on the application of analogy learning strategy has been applied to improve student learning achievement on the topic of colloid class XI Science of Senior High School Number 3 Pekanbaru on May 2016. The research is experimental research based on pretest-posttest design. The samples consisted student of two classes, XI Science 3 as experimental class and XI Science 2 as control class that randomly selected after testing normality and homogeneity. Analogy Learning Strategy applied in XI Science 3. Analysis of data used t-test. Results of data processing obtained tcount> ttable (4,84>1,67). It means that the application of analogy learning strategy can improve student learning achievement on the topic of colloid in class XI Science of Senior High School Number 3 Pekanbaru. The improvement category of student learning achievement at experimental class was high category with normalized N gain which 0, 71.Keywords : Analogy Learning Strategy, Learning Achievement and Colloid.

Abstract

Abstract: Research on the use of media game snakes and ladders have been done to find out how it affect the student achievement on the topic of Hydrocarbon in class XI IPA SMA As-Shofa Pekanbaru. This kind of research is experiment research with randomized control group pretest-posttest design. The sample consisted of two classes, namely class XI IPA-3 as the experimental class and class XI IPA-2 as a controls class, it randomly selected after normality test and homogeneity test. Experimental class is a class that was treated by learning using media game of snakes and ladders, while the control class is a class that is not treated using media game of snakes and ladders. Data analysis technique is the t-test. Based on the final calculation result obtained tvalue is 2.70 is greater than ttable is 1.67 with an increase in the use of media influence a game of snakes and ladders to student achievement is 16.84%, so it can be concluded that the use of the media game of snakes and ladders can improve the student’s achievement on the subject of hydrocarbons in class XI Science high School-As Shofa Pekanbaru.Keyword : Learning, snakes and ladders game, Learning Achievement, Hydrocarbon

Abstract

Abstract : The Research about application of the active learning strategy type true false chain has been done to improve student’s achievement on the topic of solubility and solubility product constant in class XI IPA MAN 1 Pekanbaru. This research is experimental research based on pretest-posttest design. The samples of this research were the students of class Xl IPA 4 as the control class and students of class XI IPA 3 as the experimental class that randomly selected after testing homogeneity. Experimental class is a class that is applied active learning strategy type true false chain, while the control class was not. Data analysis technique used is the t-test. Based on analysis of data obtained tarithmetic> ttable is 2,80 > 1,67, means that the application of active learning strategy type true false chain can improve student achievement on the subject of solubility and solubility product constant in class XI Science SMAN 1 Kampar where the effect of an increase is 10,10%.Key Words : Active Learning Strategy Type True False Chain, Learning Achievement, and Solubility and Solubility Product Constant

Abstract

Abstract : This is a classroom action research. This research is an attempt to improve student learning activities in chemistry on class XI MIA 2 SMA Islam As-Shofa Pekanbaru by using learning method plane problem. Student learning activity which is repaired the activity of making questions, working on plane problem, group discussion, submit answers or opinions, and enthusiastic about the game of plane problem. This research consisted of two cycles. Each cycle consisted of two meetings that went through four stages of implementation: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The collecting data used observation and test. The analysis data was describ with descriptively by using percentage technique. Based on the results obtained, it can be concluded the using of learning method plane problem can improve the activity and student learning outcomes. It can be seen by the improvement of student’s learning activity from 62,41% at the first cycle to 76,38% at the second cycle, and learning completeness from 68,96% at the first cycle to 82,75% at the second cycle.Keyword: Learning method plane problem, activities, learning outcomes

Abstract

Abstract:The study on the use of LKS comic to improve student achievement on the subject of colloid in class XI IPA SMANegeri 1 Sungai Apit has done. It isa experiment research with pretest-posttest design. The sample consisted of two classes, XI IPA1 as an experiment class and XI IPA2 as a control class, which was randomly selected after tests of normality and homogeneity.Experiment class were treated with the use of LKS comics while not using LKS control class comic. Data analysis technique was used t-test. Based on the results of final processing data use t-test formula obtained tcount>ttable is 3,46>1,67, it means that the applying of question card media can improve student achievement on the subject of colloids in class XI IPA SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Apit. The category improvement of student achievement in experiment class was high category with a score gain normalized is 0,73.Keywords :LKS comics, Learning achievement,and colloid

Abstract

Abstract: Development of learning media based on Visual Basic 6.0 on the topic rate of reaction has been done. Development of learning media to get a valid learning media. The research and development method used ADDIE models which consists of five stages are analysis, design, development, implement and evaluate. Data collected technique used validation sheet was given to three validators (two of media expert and a matter experts). The results showed score of the designing aspectswas 3,73; pedagogic aspects was 4; the content aspects was 3,83; the ease of use aspects was 3,93.Average score overall validation of learning media based on Visual Basic 6.0 on the topic rate of reactionwas3,87.Average score overall validation of learning media based on Visual Basic 6.0 show that this media is valid and can be use in learning process.Key Words: Learning Media, Visual Basic 6.0, Rate of Reaction

Abstract: This research aims to improve students' cognitive learning outcomes onthe subject of chemical equilibrium in class XI IPA SMAN 2 Bangkinang academic year2014/2015 with the application of active learning strategy of True False Chain type.The research is experimental research with pretest-posttest design. There are twoclasses for the sample, XI IPA 1 as an experiment class and XI IPA 4 as control classwhich randomly selected after testing homogeneity. Experimental class is a class that istreated given to the application of active learning True False Chain type. Data analysistechnique used is the test for normality using Liliefors test, homogeneity test and testhypotheses. Hypothesis testing using t test. Abstract

Abstract : The aim of the research was application of active learning the firing line strategy has been done to know the increasing of student’s learning achievement on oxidation reduction reaction topic in class X in 7 Senior High School Pekanbaru. This research was experiment by design pretest and posttest. The sample determined randomly after doing normality and homogeneity test of 7 classes as population and then class X5 choosed as experiment class and X2 as class group. The experiment group was applied by the application of active learning the firing line strategy. The data analysis technique used was t - test. Based on the data was obtained tcount>ttable was 2,28t ≥ 1,67, meant that the application of active learning the firing line strategy could increase the student’s learning achievement on oxidation reduction reaction topic in class X in 7 Senior High School Pekanbaru. The Category of increasing the student’s learning achievement trhough active learning the firing line strategy on the subject of oxidation reduction reaction is a high category with the N-Gain value was of 0,79.Keywords: The Firing Line, Active Learning, Achievement, oxidation reduction reaction.

Abstract

Abstract: The research aims to improve student learning achievement on the topic of colloid in XI science class of SMAN 14 Pekanbaru by implementation of guided inquiry learning. The research was a form of experimental research with the design Randomized Control Group Pretest-Posttest. The sample consists of two classes, class XI science 3 as an experimental class and class XI science 2 as the control class is determined randomly after normality test and homogeneity test. Experimental class was implied of guided inquiry learning while the control class didn’t imply of guided inquiry learning. Data analysis technique used is the t-test. Based on the results of data processing obtained tcount > ttable is 5,67 > 1,67 means that the implementation of guided inquiry learning can improve student learning achievement on the topic of colloid in XI science class of SMAN 14 Pekanbaru. The effect implementation of guided inquiry learning to students’ learning achievement improve is about 36,07%.Keywords: Guided Inquiry Learning, Learning Achievement, Colloid
