Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to know the improve of students learning achievement by using Genius Learning strategy on the topic of the colloid in class XI science senior high school 2 Siak Hulu. This research was experimental research with pretest-postest design. The sample of this research were students of class XI science 4 as the experimental research and students of class XI science 3 as a control class that has been randomly selected after a test of normally and homogenity test. Experiment class is a class that is applied Genius Learning strategy while the control class was not. Data analysis technique used is t-test. Based on analysis of the data obtained tcount > ttable is 1,89 > 1,67, it is mean that the apllication of Genius Learning strategy can improved students learning achievement on the topic of the colloid in class XI science senior high school 2 Siak Hulu. The category improvement of student achievement at experiment class was high category with N-gain normalized is 0,79. Meanwhile, the category improvement of student achievement in control class was medium category with N-gain normalized is 0,68. Genius Learning strategy can activate the students in learning process to improve the students achievement in learning.Keywords : Learning Achievement, Genius learning, colloid

Abstract

Abstract: Research on the application of cooperative learning model Active Knowledge Sharing has been conducted to improve student learning achievement on the topic Hidrokarbon at class X SMAN 1 Siak Hulu. This research is experimental research with randomized control group pretest-posttest design. The sample took in the April – Mei 2016. The sample consisted of two classes, X1 class as experimental class and X3 class as control class. Experimental class is a class that is used cooperative learning model Active Knowledge Sharing, while the control class was not. Data analysis technique used is the t-test. Based on analysis of data obtained tarithmetic > ttable is 2,5 > 1,67 It means that the application of cooperative learning model Active Knowledge Sharing can improve student achievement on the topic Hidrokarbon at class X SMAN 1 Siak Hulu. The category of the increasing learning achievement in experiment group included into high level by the normalized score gain (N – gain) was 0.704.Keywords: cooperative learning, Active Knowledge Sharing, learning sachievement, Hidrokarbon

Abstract

Abstract : The aim of this research is to know the effect of arisan card active learning toward student achievement on chemical bonds material class X MIA of 1 Senior High School Koto Gasib. Form of research is experiment research with randomized group pretest-posttest design. The sample of this research is two groups randomly determined after normality test and homogeneity test, class X MIA 2 as the control class and as the experiment class is X MIA 1. Experiment group is a group that is treated with implementing arisan card active learning. Data analysis technique that used in this research is the t-test. Based on the final results of data process obtained tarithmetic ≥ ttable (3,013 ≥ 1,67) means that the application of arisan card active learning can improve student achievement on the subject of chemical bonds at class X MIA of 1 Senior High School Koto Gasib. The calculation of effect size resulted on student achievement was 11,99%.  Key Words : Active Learning, Arisan card, Active learning, student achievement, Chemical bonds.

Abstract

Abstract: Research on the use of media game snakes and ladders have been done to find out how it affect the student achievement on the topic of Hydrocarbon in class XI IPA SMA As-Shofa Pekanbaru. This kind of research is experiment research with randomized control group pretest-posttest design. The sample consisted of two classes, namely class XI IPA-3 as the experimental class and class XI IPA-2 as a controls class, it randomly selected after normality test and homogeneity test. Experimental class is a class that was treated by learning using media game of snakes and ladders, while the control class is a class that is not treated using media game of snakes and ladders. Data analysis technique is the t-test. Based on the final calculation result obtained tvalue is 2.70 is greater than ttable is 1.67 with an increase in the use of media influence a game of snakes and ladders to student achievement is 16.84%, so it can be concluded that the use of the media game of snakes and ladders can improve the student’s achievement on the subject of hydrocarbons in class XI Science high School-As Shofa Pekanbaru.Keyword : Learning, snakes and ladders game, Learning Achievement, Hydrocarbon

Abstract

Abstract : This research is about the application of active learning strategy Learning Tournamenttype that has conducted to know the increasing of student’s learning achievement on Solubility  and Constanta Solubility Product  topic in class X MIA of 2 Senior High School Pekanbaru. This research was experiment by design pretest and posttest. The sample determined randomly after doing normality and homogeneity test of 3 classes as population and then class X MIA2 as experiment group and X MIA 3 as control group. The experiment group was applied by the application of active learning strategy Learning Tournament type. The data analysis technique used was t - test. Based on the tabulation of last data obtained tcount> ttable was 1,79 ≥ 1,68 meant that the application of active learning strategy Learning Tournamenttype could increase the student’s learning achievement on Solubility  and Constanta Solubility Product topic in class X MIA of 2 Senior High School Pekanbaru. Abstract

Abstract : Development of interactive learning media based on Visual Basic 6.0 on the topic Structure Atomic has been done. Development of interactive learning media to get a valid and practical. The research method used ADDIE models which consists of stages are Analisys, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. Data collected technique used validation sheet was given to three  validators (media experts and matter expert). The results showed score of the designing aspects was 93,52 %, pedagogic aspect 93,33%, the content aspect was 95,81 % and the ease of use aspect was 97,62%. Average score overall validation of interactive learning media based on Visual Basic 6.0 on the topic Struktured Atomic was 95,63%. A valid interactive learning media then trial used by practitioners (user) questionnaire responses of teacher was score 95,65 % with categories valid and can be use in learning process.

Abstract

Abstract : The purpose of this research to increase student achievement on the subject of solubility and solubility product in class XI IPA SMA N 10 Pekanbaru through the implementation of active learning strategy type Learning Starts With A Question (LSQ)). This research was used pretest-posttest design. The sample consisted of two classes, XI IPA 5 class as experiment class and XI IPA 4 class as control class that randomly selected after testing normality and homogeneity. Experiment class was given by implementing active learning strategy type LSQ and the control class was given by discution method. T-test was used to analyse the data. Data of research obtained tcount > ttable (2,503 > 1,67). It means the use of active learning strategy type LSQ could improve student’s achievement on the subject of solubility and solubility product in class XI IPA SMAN 10 Pekanbaru with an increase of 7,81%..Keywords : Active Learning Strategy, Learning Starts With A Question (LSQ), Student’s Achievement, solubility and solubility product
