Abstract

Dalam tipe kombinasi bunyi, setiap bahasa memiliki pola yang pasti. Pola tersebut pada umumnya menunjukkan kaidah fonotaktik yang menjadi bagian dari pengetahuan fonologis setiap penuturnya. Namun, bahasa secara alamiah juga mengalami perubahan. Dua faktor yang mengubah bahasa adalah waktu dan perpindahan manusia. Dewasa ini, bahasa-bahasa daerah di Indonesia bahkan cenderung mengalami kemunduran atau bahkan terancam punah akibat perkembangan pesat dari berbagai aspek. Mengingat pentingnya fungsi bahasa bagi manusia, kajian terhadap bahasa menjadi suatu hal penting yang harus dilakukan. Dengan adanya kajian bahasa, struktur dan semua aturan kebahasaan dapat dilestarikan. Hasil-hasil kajian tersebut juga dapat digunakan untuk memecahkan permasalahan yang berkaitan dengan pelestarian bahasa. Tulisan ini akan difokuskan pada kajian fonotaktik pada bahasa Jawa isolek Malang dengan konsep silabisasi fonetis dimana kajian ini belum pernah dilakukan sebelumnya. Setelah diklasifikasikan berdasarkan silabisasi fonetis, dari 199 kosakata isolek Malang diperoleh 31 kelompok yang didasarkan pada silabisasi fonetis.Struktur silabis bahasa Jawa isolek Malang meliputi lima kelompok, yaitu V, KV, VK, KVK, dan KKV. Tipe struktur silabis KV merupakan tipe silabel paling umum. Bahasa Jawa isolek Malang memiliki silabel terbuka (KV) dan tertutup.Kata Kunci: kaidah fonotaktik, silabisasi fonetis, struktur silabis.

Abstract

Herta Müller is a Romanian-born author who is currently internationally known for his resistance novels. She was deported by the Romanian ruler led by president Ceausescu as she was considered  endangering the Romanian government. In her escape, Müller created a novel depicting the resistance to injustice perpetrated by the Romanian authorities, who practiced a cruel proletarian dictatorial system of government. Herztier is the most concrete novel that shows her resistance to the authorities. According to Ashcroft, Griffiths, and Tiffin, resistance literature is closely related to context, and Said said that the situation and condition of context, determine the characteristics of resistance in the novel. The forms of resistance carried out by the characters in the Herztier novel, show similarities to the resistance style of the characters created by the German playwright Bertold Brecht, resistance that tends to be individual and clandestine, or what Scott calls the Brechtian style of resistance . Based on this background, this study is intended to describe (1) the characteristics of popular resistance styles of the protagonists in the Herztier novel; (2) situations and conditions that influence the resistance styles of the characters in the Herztier novel. The results of the study show that (1) the characters in the Herztier novel take the fight against the authorities individually and are not organized by being stubborn but passive, pretending to obey, pretending not to know, stealing, or fleeing abroad; (2) the resistance is caused by weak humans under the oppression of authoritarian and cruel rulers. The results of this study are expected to foster public awareness of reality, and in the next stage move them to actively participate in the struggle to create a just society.

Abstract

Penelitian tentang keefektifan media pembelajaran (Kartu Kanji dan Kartu Flash) dalam membaca kanji pada siswa LPK tahun pelajaran 2017/2018. Tulisan Jepang menggunakan katakana, hiragana, dan kanji. Kanji sulit dikuasai oleh pembelajar bahasa Jepang. Oleh karena itu, pembelajar membutuhkan materi pembelajaran kanji. Kartu kanji & kartu flash adalah bahan pembelajaran. Karena kedua media pembelajaran tersebut mudah digunakan, dapat digunakan di semua jenjang pendidikan, menghemat waktu dan biaya, serta melibatkan peserta didik. Metode penelitian adalah pretest-posttest control group design. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 62 siswa yang terdiri dari 32 siswa di kelas A sebagai kontrol (menggunakan flash card) dan 30 siswa di kelas B sebagai eksperimen (menggunakan kartu kanji). Tes pilihan ganda dan angket merupakan instrumen penelitian. Setelah dilakukan pengujian data, t hitung lebih kecil dari t tabel (0,426 2,000) dengan signifikansi 5%, sehingga Ho diterima dan Hk ditolak. Jadi, media pembelajaran kartu kanji kurang efektif dibandingkan kartu flash untuk membaca kanji. Menurut kuisioner, kartu kanji dan flash card cocok dan menarik untuk pembelajaran kanji. Siswa menganggap kartu kanji meningkatkan pembacaan kun-yomi dan on-yomi, sementara kartu flash meningkatkan makna dan ingatan contoh. Kelas eksperimen memiliki waktu yang lebih sedikit untuk menggunakan kartu kanji, sedangkan kelas kontrol memiliki waktu yang cukup.

Abstract

The study aimed to improve the learning outcomes on the Topic 3 “Objects Around Me” for third-grade students at SDN Gondek using a direct method. Class Action Research (PTK) was conducted over four cycles, including observation, testing, and questionnaires as data collection tools. Early observations indicated students’ difficulty in understanding the material, and this became the basis for using direct methods for improvement. Each cycle consists of planning, execution, evaluation, and reflection. Student learning outcome data were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively, presented in graphical, tabular, and descriptive formats. The research results showed that students' learning outcomes improved significantly following the implementation of the direct method. The study concludes that it positively contributes to the improvement of students' understanding of the topic. Moreover, the study also provides the groundwork for further research on the development of learning methods aimed to improve the quality of primary education.

Abstract

The fairy tale Frau Holle by the Brothers Grimm presents a distinctive narrative structure, featuring an omniscient narrator and a strong moral message conveyed both implicitly and explicitly. This study addresses the characteristics of the narrator and the forms of modality used to construct meaning within the text. The research aims to examine the narrator's role in storytelling and to identify the types of modality it contains. A qualitative method is applied, using content analysis on relevant narrative excerpts from the fairy tale.The results indicate that the narrator is heterodiegetic and omniscient, which allows the narrative to be delivered with seeming objectivity while remaining laden with normative judgments. The dominant modalities are deontic (relating to obligation and prohibition) and epistemic (relating to certainty and possibility). These are used strategically to shape the reader's perception of characters, their actions, and the consequences they receive. Moreover, these modalities reinforce moral values such as hard work, obedience, and justice, which form the foundation of the story's ethical message. This study finds that the narrator and modality play a significant role in shaping meaning, moral evaluation, and the educational function of traditional literary texts.

Abstract

Abstract: Mastery of a foreign language is essential to prepare the younger generation for globalization. German, as a foreign language in Indonesian high schools, opens up academic and professional opportunities in German-speaking countries. This study aims to analyze the learning outcomes of German and explore the integration of Pancasila Learner Profile values in the Merdeka Curriculum. A descriptive qualitative approach is used by analyzing official documents such as the German Language Learning Outcomes (CP) and the Pancasila Learner Profile Guide. The results showed that German language learning can integrate values such as global diversity, critical reasoning, independence, and mutual cooperation through contextual and project-based approaches. The main challenges found were limited teacher training, lack of relevant teaching materials, and lack of implementation guidelines in schools. This research suggests improving teacher training and developing more contextualized teaching materials to support the integration of Pancasila values.Abstrak: Penguasaan bahasa asing sangat penting untuk mempersiapkan generasi muda menghadapi globalisasi. Bahasa Jerman, sebagai bahasa asing di SMA Indonesia, membuka peluang akademik dan profesional di negara-negara berbahasa Jerman. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis capaian pembelajaran Bahasa Jerman dan mengeksplorasi integrasi nilai-nilai Profil Pelajar Pancasila dalam Kurikulum Merdeka. Pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif digunakan dengan menganalisis dokumen resmi seperti Capaian Pembelajaran (CP) Bahasa Jerman dan Panduan Profil Pelajar Pancasila. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran Bahasa Jerman dapat mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai seperti berkebinekaan global, bernalar kritis, mandiri, dan gotong royong melalui pendekatan kontekstual dan berbasis proyek. Tantangan utama yang ditemukan adalah keterbatasan pelatihan guru, kurangnya bahan ajar yang relevan, dan minimnya panduan implementasi di sekolah. Penelitian ini menyarankan peningkatan pelatihan guru dan pengembangan bahan ajar yang lebih kontekstual dalam mendukung integrasi nilai-nilai Pancasila.
