Abstract

This study aims to describe the application of the “Teman Jepang” project-based learning method through the use of the HelloTalk application for learning to write Japanese and to find out how the students respond after the implementation of the “Teman Jepang” project-based learning method through the use of the HelloTalk application. The method used is a qualitative descriptive method with the primary data collection process through a study of documents and field data, as well as the results of student response questionnaires. The subjects of this study were 196 students from class XII MIPA and class XII Language at SMA Negeri 10 Malang. The results of the data analysis showed that the interest of students in the application of the "Teman Jepang" project-based learning method through the use of the HelloTalk application for learning to write Japanese was at a very high standard. This study concludes that the “Teman Jepang” project-based learning method through the use of the HelloTalk application was successfully applied in learning to write Japanese and received a positive response from students.

Abstract

Pengembangan buku Ajar Dokkai berjudul “Yoku Wakatta Nihongo, Chukyu Reberu” bagi mahasiswa Prodi dilatar belakangi oleh diperlukannya buku pendamping yang memiliki tingkat kesulitan wacana lebih atas sedikit, dapat memotivasi dan menantang mahasiswa untuk terus belajar, berisi informasi yang menarik untuk diketahui. Fokus penelitian yakni tentang bagaimana proses pengembangan buku ajar, bagaimana kualitas buku ajar dilihat dari segi tingkat kevalidan (media dan materi buku ajar) serta keefektifan dilihat dari hasil uji coba pada mahasiswa yang dilakukan dalam pembelajaran dokkai. Langkah pengembangan yang digunakan R and D oleh Sugiyono. Proses pengembangan dimulai dari potensi atau masalah dalam pembelajaran dokkai. Kemudian pengumpulan informasi melalui penyebaran angket dan wawancara. Kemudian, mendesain produk buku ajar sesuai dengan persyaratan secara didaktis, kontruktif dan teknik, membuat layout, cover, menulis soal latihan, dan dilanjutkan pada validasi desain. Terakhir, menguji cobakan buku ajar dokkai setelah direvisi berdasarkan masukan dari validator pada 25 orang mahasiswa untuk mengetahui bagaimana keefektifan buku dalam pembelajaran di kelas. . Dari hasil validasi materi dan media diperoleh angka 87 .Kemudian dari hasil uji terbatas penggunaaan buku pada angkatan 2020 dalam Mata kuliah Chukyu Dokkai diperoleh rata rata kelas 77,2. Sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa buku ini layak untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran dokkai

Abstract

Bahasa merupakan alat komunikasi antar manusia, mempelajari sebuah Bahasa tentu tidak akan terlepas dari seni dan budaya.  seperti halnya mempelajari Bahasa Mandarin, Tiongkok memiliki beragam seni budaya menarik yang dapat dijadikan sebagai alat untuk meningkatkan motivasi mahasiswa dalam belajarBahasa mandarin, misalnya seni gunting kertas (剪纸), seni tali simpul Tiongkok (中国结), menyanyi lagu Bahasa Mandarin, dll. Berkaitdengan hal tersebut,penelitianinibertujuan untukmengetahui proses pemberian materi seni budaya Tiongkok di kelas Bahasa Mandarin, peningkatan motivasi belajar mahasiswa, serta respon mahasiswa terhadap pemberian materi seni budaya tiongkok tersebut.Adapun metode yangdigunakandalampenelitianiniialahmetodepenelitiandeskriptifkualitatif. Berdasarkan hasil observasi, pemberian materi seni budaya Tiongkok ini dapat mengubah perilaku mahasiswa dari yang sebelumnya kurang aktif menjadi lebih aktif untuk bertanya, aktif untuk menjawab pertanyaan lisan dosen, aktif untuk berdiskusi, aktif untuk mengerjakan soal latihan, dan lain sebagainya. Dari perubahan perilaku mahasiswa tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa mahasiswa mengalami peningkatan motivasi dalam belajar Bahasa Mandarin. Selain itu, dari hasil angket menunjukan bahwa, mahasiswa merasa senang dan antusias ketika diberikan materi seni budaya dan diajak untuk mempraktekkannya, serta, mahasiswa merasa terdorong untuk lebih aktif dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Bahkan, banyak mahasiswa yang menginginkan pemberian materi seni budaya Tiongkok ini dapat dilanjutkan pada pertemuan-pertemuan berikutnya.

Abstract

This study discusses the advantages and optimization of the drill method in the memorization process for mastery of Mandarin. The drill method that does not require additional media, and only relies on the five human senses is an advantage that deserves to be maximized. This study aims to offer ten elements that can encourage better results in the process of memorizing Mandarin with the drill method. By using qualitative research methods, elements, such as, relying on continuity, familiarizing with Mandarin language culture, determining the appropriate mindset for improving mastery of Mandarin memorization with the dril method, are a summary of the results in the elements offered and in the discussion will be presented with in-depth elaboration.

Abstract

Penelitian tentang keefektifan media pembelajaran (Kartu Kanji dan Kartu Flash) dalam membaca kanji pada siswa LPK tahun pelajaran 2017/2018. Tulisan Jepang menggunakan katakana, hiragana, dan kanji. Kanji sulit dikuasai oleh pembelajar bahasa Jepang. Oleh karena itu, pembelajar membutuhkan materi pembelajaran kanji. Kartu kanji & kartu flash adalah bahan pembelajaran. Karena kedua media pembelajaran tersebut mudah digunakan, dapat digunakan di semua jenjang pendidikan, menghemat waktu dan biaya, serta melibatkan peserta didik. Metode penelitian adalah pretest-posttest control group design. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 62 siswa yang terdiri dari 32 siswa di kelas A sebagai kontrol (menggunakan flash card) dan 30 siswa di kelas B sebagai eksperimen (menggunakan kartu kanji). Tes pilihan ganda dan angket merupakan instrumen penelitian. Setelah dilakukan pengujian data, t hitung lebih kecil dari t tabel (0,426 2,000) dengan signifikansi 5%, sehingga Ho diterima dan Hk ditolak. Jadi, media pembelajaran kartu kanji kurang efektif dibandingkan kartu flash untuk membaca kanji. Menurut kuisioner, kartu kanji dan flash card cocok dan menarik untuk pembelajaran kanji. Siswa menganggap kartu kanji meningkatkan pembacaan kun-yomi dan on-yomi, sementara kartu flash meningkatkan makna dan ingatan contoh. Kelas eksperimen memiliki waktu yang lebih sedikit untuk menggunakan kartu kanji, sedangkan kelas kontrol memiliki waktu yang cukup.

Abstract

Grammar is is an integral part of language competencies that must be mastered by foreign language learner, as one of the requirements for mastering all of language competencies. Therefore various strategies are being attempted in order to help students gain the learning outcomes of the course. In learning activities, it was found that students who were identified as a group with lower initial abilities were able to achieve high learning outcomes at the end of the semester. The students' learning styles are assumed to have a contribution to the students learning outcomes, because students have learn with the same learning resources, and the methods used by teachers are not different. This became the starting point to explore the relationship between learning styles and student learning outcomes. This research is a quantitative research to describe the correlation between learning styles and student learning outcomes in the basic level of Nihongo subject. This study will also describe the quality of the relationship between the two variables. The population in this study is all undergraduate students of State University of Surabaya (UNESA) Japanese Language Education Program class of 2022, totaling 104 students. The sampling method used in this study is a non-sampling method because all members in one population will be the subject of this study. Based on the results of the analysis that has been done, the following conclusions can be drawn: 1) The learning styles of UNESA Japanese Language Education Program students class of 2022 were analyzed based on VARK model learning style preferences, showing that students have a single learning style and a combined learning style. However, The most dominant learning style preference used by students is Kinesthetic learning style with more than half of the total number of respondents. In addition, gender-based learning style preferences show that female student groups have a greater number of combined learning styles than male student groups; 2) The correlation between students' learning styles, and Japanese learning outcomes after being analyzed through a non-parametric model showed that the coefficient value of both variables of this study is 0.663, which is classified as "very weak". The result shows that learning styles do not contribute significantly to student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the size of the inquiry-based learning model on the ability of the student profile of Pancasila students. This type of research is quantitative research with a meta-analysis approach. Data sources come from 10 journals published 2020-2024. The process of searching for data through google scholar, mendeley, ScienceDirect, ERIC and Taylor of Francis. Data selection process using PRISMA 2020 method. Inclusion criteria are research must be experimental methods, research comes from national and international journals indexed by SINTA and Scopus, research must be related to research variables, research subjects of elementary, junior high and high school students, and research has complete data to calculate the value of effect size. Data analysis is calculating the effect value of each study with the help of Microsoft Excel 2020. The results of the study concluded that the inquiry-based learning model had a significant influence on the ability of the student profile of Pancasila students with an average effect size value of 0.806 with high effect size criteria. This study provides important information for teachers to implement inquiry-based learning models on the ability of student profiles of Pancasila students

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the STEM-based differentiation learning model on the results of independent curriculum learning. This type of research is quantitative research with a meta-analysis approach. This research data comes from 10 national journals published from 2021-2024. Search research data through the mendeley, google scholar, Wiley and Researchgate databases. The data collection technique is purposive sampling. The criteria for the data included in the meta-analysis are research published in the last 3 years 2021-2024; Research must be related to STEM-based differentiation learning on student learning outcomes in the independent curriculum, research must be open access, research comes from indexed journals Science Technology Index (SINTA) and Scopus and research reports complete data to calculate effect size values. Data analysis is quantitative data analysis by calculating the effect size value of each data with the help of the JAMOVI application. The results of the study concluded that STEM-based differentiation learning had a positive effect on the independent curriculum with an average effect size value of 1.06. These findings provide important information for teachers implementing STEM-based differentiated learning in schools.

Abstract

Lung cancer remains a leading cause of mortality worldwide, underscoring the critical need for early detection to improve patient outcomes. Radiological techniques play a pivotal role in the timely diagnosis of lung cancer, offering non-invasive approaches that facilitate early intervention and treatment planning. This paper comprehensively reviews the utilization of radiological modalities, including computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), positron emission tomography (PET), and chest X-ray, in the early detection of lung cancer. Emphasizing the significance of each modality in identifying suspicious pulmonary nodules, characterizing lesions, and staging disease progression, the review highlights advancements in imaging technologies that enhance sensitivity and specificity. Furthermore, it addresses challenges such as false positives, radiation exposure, and cost-effectiveness, proposing strategies to mitigate these limitations. The review also explores emerging trends such as artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms and molecular imaging techniques, which hold promise for further improving diagnostic accuracy and personalized treatment approaches. By synthesizing current evidence and future directions in the utilization of radiological techniques for early lung cancer diagnosis, this review contributes to advancing clinical practice and ultimately reducing the burden of lung cancer morbidity and mortality.

Abstract

Language education plays an important role in community development, according to our literature review. This research examines how language education can facilitate community growth and development, and how this impacts social and economic dynamics. This research is a literature analysis. A literature review was conducted of scholarly literature, academic publications and research reports related to the role of language education in various community development contexts. The study highlights the importance of language education as a tool to improve the quality of life and opportunities for community members. The results show that high-quality language education can increase awareness and appreciation of local culture and traditions, and strengthen intergenerational and inter-community connections. In addition, language education that strengthens communication and negotiation skills can facilitate access to economic opportunities, such as employment, training and investment. This research highlights the importance of language education as a tool to improve quality of life and community opportunities.
