Abstract

Era “Big Data” telah menjadi suatu tantangan  besar yang harus dihadapi oleh suatu jaringan komputer untuk dapat reliable menghantarkan data, dan sekaligus menjadi jembatan bagi ketersediaan lalu lintas data, baik dalam hal layanan pengolahan, penyimpanan dan analisa data yang berukuran besar, memiliki tingkat variasi tinggi dari beberapa sumber yang disampaikan dari sumber secara realtime ke tujuan. Pengaruh pemilihan protokol routing dengan klasifikasi static routing atau dynamic routing seperti RIP, EIGRP, OSPF, IS-IS dan BGP layaknya harus sesuai dengan kebutuhan setiap user dengan memperhatikan tantangan dan kebutuhan di era big data. Pada penelitian ini digunakan metode perancangan jaringan dengan model PPDIOO yaitu, Prepare, Plan, Design, Implement, Operate, and Optimize dan menghasilkan rekomendasi mengenai kebutuhan desain arsitektur dan jenis protokol routing yang tepat ditinjau dari karakteristik jaringan dengan memahami konsep distance vector protocol atau link-state protocol, untuk digunakan oleh jaringan dalam menyediakan layanan yang dapat diandalkan dengan konsep arsitektur holistic network di era big data.

Abstract

Researchers limiting stages the use of themethods of development of the network until the stage of thedesign with the results in the form of the simulation and design ofnetwork topology, especially on a business organization orgovernment.

Abstract

Pemeliharaan dokumen-dokumen  sebuah institusi sekarang menjadi faktor penting untuk kelangsungan sebuah organisasi. Selama ini dokumen-dokumen biasanya di kelola secara manual baik dalam pemeliharaan maupun penyimpanannya. Web aplikasi Sistem Manajemen Dokumen (Document Management System) Elektronik (SMDE) bisa dimanfaatkan untuk membantu dalam mengelola dan memelihara semua dokumen yang dihasilkan dari semua kegiatan organisasi, administrasi maupun akademik. Penggunaan aplikasi dalam mengelola dan memelihara dokumen akan memiliki banyak kelebihan dan manfaat diantaranya, dokumen akan lebih mudah saat akan diakses maupun digunakan untuk berbagai keperluan. Dengan menggunakan aplikasi maka keamanan dokumen dari segi kerusakan terutama kerusakan fisik bisa dihindari.  Fokus dari penelitian ini adalah Pengembangan Aplikasi SMDE Berorientasi  Standar Borang Akreditasi BAN PT. Aplikasi dikembangkan berbasis web,  pentingnya aplikasi SMDE karena BAN PT sebagai lembaga yang bertugas menilai mutu dari institusi perguruan tinggi akan mengacu berdasar pada dokumen-dokumen yang telah dihasilkan oleh suatu perguruan tinggi. Digunakannya standar borang BAN PT sebagai orientasi dalam pengembangan aplikasi ini karena akses terhadap dokumen yang cepat sangat dibutuhkan pada saat proses akreditasi baik institusi maupun program studi.  Metode pengembangan sistem aplikasi perangkat lunak menggunakan metode Unified Process (UP) dengan batasan hingga tahapan Construction dari Unified Proces dengan menggunakan pemodelan UML. Penelitian ini telah menghasilkan sistem aplikasi SMDE berorientasi standar borang akrediasi BAN PT. Aplikasi dengan teknologi Web berbasis client-server yang dihasilkan telah sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengguna di Universitas Bina Darma.Kata Kunci : Pengembangan aplikasi, SMDE, Standar Borang BAN PT, UP dan UML.

Abstract

AbstractProblems that often occur at the Indonesian Regional Broadcasting Commission (KPID) South Sumatra are related to finding information/technical documentation such as broadcasting manual documentation, broadcasting station problem logs, meeting documentation, employee training documentation and other documentation. Therefore, the existence of this KMS application can facilitate in overcoming documentation problems and improve the quality of employee work. In addition, the purpose of this KMS application is so that the knowledge possessed by each employee does not just disappear and can also be shared with other employees, as well as the creation of a means of communicating problems, as well as knowledge that is still stored in each employee so that there is no repetition of mistakes made. ever done. The result of this research is to design a web-based knowledge management system application that will be implemented at the Indonesian Regional Broadcasting Commission (KPID) South Sumatra. In this study, the author uses a prototype-based system development method, where this method is carried out to the prototype testing stage at the Indonesian Regional Broadcasting Commission (KPID) South Sumatra. Abstract

Prima Angel's Pharmacy is engaged in the health sector and is located on Jl. Ki Merogan No. 117, Kertapati Palembang. Prima Angel's Pharmacy is a pharmacy that buys and sells medicines needed by the community. The current system at Prima Angel's pharmacy is still using the conventional system which is manually doing the record of purchase and sale transactions into a ledger, thus making the data processing, data search, and report generation become inefficient. The purpose of this research is to facilitate data processing and data storage, so that the data can be neatly arranged and easily processed into the required information. This Prima Angel's Pharmacy management information system was built with a combination of research methods between qualitative methods in terms of system development using Extreme Programming and quantitative methods using descriptive statistical data analysis. The results of the development of the Prima Angel's Pharmacy management information system can run as expected, namely processing data, searching data, and making reports effectively and efficiently.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the standard operating procedure (SOP) for filing an exceptional ceiling for the sales division at PT. Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk. This study uses a qualitative research design with a case study approach. Data was collected through interviews, document analysis, and observation of the SOP submission process for the sales division at PT. Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk. This study's findings are whether the Standard Operational Procedure for Submission of Special Ceilings has been going well or not. Standard operating procedures that are running well are shown in the Special SOP for Ceiling Submission; this can happen because it is in the preparation process so that, in practice, SOPs can be easily understood and also efficiently implemented by distributors. While implementing the main things in the Standard Operating Procedures is good because it has been appropriately implemented in every job, there's just no workflow in the Sales Division. In addition, there are due distributor receivables, so it becomes an obstacle for distributors to apply for a Special Ceiling according to the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP). This research contributes to the literature on SOPs by highlighting the importance of well-defined and effectively implemented SOPs in the context of the sales division of PT. Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk. In addition, this study provides insight into the challenges and factors that may influence SOP implementation in this environment. Practical implications for the management of PT. Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk and sales division. The findings indicate the need for more detailed and simplified SOPs for special ceiling proposals to improve process efficiency. In addition, this study recommends that companies provide adequate training and support for employees involved in the process. This research is limited to one case study at PT. Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk and these findings may not be generalizable to other companies or industries. In addition, this study does not evaluate the impact of implementing improved SOPs on sales division performance. Future research can explore these areas and assess the effectiveness of various strategies to improve the unique ceiling application process in sales divisions in peer companies in Indonesia.

Abstract

Design thinking is a method that concentrates on generating ideas and solutions that begin with a process of empathy for a need that focuses on a human or user perspective. The stages of design thinking can be done repeatedly to improvise ideas and solutions so that they are responsive and adaptive to change. Agile is a software development method in which the stages can be repeated to form a cycle, this is done because the agile method is very concerned about the value of a product. The Anindya Collection is UMK of men's batik clothing that they produce themselves and sell under their own business brand name, Anindya Collection. Problems often occur in managing sales data and recapitulating sales data which is still done manually, namely handwriting in a book, making it less effective and efficient. UMK has a role in boosting the Indonesian economy, so limitations should not prevent UMK from innovating. In this study the authors implemented the Design thinking and Agile Methods in Designing the My Sales Application at Anindya Collection). In this study, the authors concluded that the design thinking method helps improvise ideas and solutions to changes prior to the development stage using agile methods. Meanwhile, agile methods help implement ideas and solutions generated from the design thinking stage.

Abstract

The KIP College program at Baturaja University has been running since 2020. The large number of people interested in this program has made the university that runs this program have difficulty making decisions about recipients of the KIP college program. The data is on interested participants in the KIP program studying at Baturaja University (UNBARA). The gap between the quota determined by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology and the number of registrants triggers difficulties for management in making decisions. This research aims to analyze the KIP Kuliah program selection results using the combination of Profile Matching and SAW methods. From the analysis of determining criteria and rankings using the Combination Method of Profile Matching and SAW, the results show the names of students who will occupy the UNBARA KIP program quota. The result of data calculations already obtained a value of 1,96667 with alternative data A208 in the name of Randi. Alternative A208 can be recommended as the recipient of the College KIP because it has the profile most appropriate to the specified criteria. So, it can be concluded that SPK, using the combination of Profile Matching and SAW methods, can be applied as a form of recommendation in decision-making in determining UNBARA KIP college program recipients.

Abstract

In most companies in various cities, shops selling medical devices, one of which is the city of Prabumulih. Prabumulih City has a J medika medical device sales store, where the sales of the store sometimes decrease or increase sales, causing frequent shortages of stock due to the absence of predictions of the need for goods. So predictions or forecasts are needed for the sale of health equipment. This is to predict the availability of goods in the future. Forecasting is an important element in the decision-making process, the role of forecasting in various fields, such as finance, marketing, production, economics, operational research, population and so on. Forecasting activities have prediction results in the future to become one of the company's efforts in making business continuity strategy decisions. Single Exponential Smoothing method, where the Single Exponential Smoothing method explains that the data experiences instability around a stable average value. The results of predictions in the future to be one of the efforts to prepare the number of medical device items. The results of this study show the number of goods needed in 2023. Based on the results of the study, Single Exponential Smoothing resulted in a prediction of the future inventory of goods amounting to 306 medical devices.

Abstract

The attitude of youth provides awareness to contribute to the progress of this country and one of them is political participation. The development of information technology has produced a variety of fake news/hoaxes which are troubling all groups, especially the influence of the millennial generation as first-time voters in the 2024 presidential election process. One of the causes of widespread fraud is the freedom of the millennial generation in spreading hoax news on social media and the lack of understanding of critical media literacy. . For this reason, it is important to carry out this research in the city of Palembang by identifying the problem, namely that the spread of hoax news is feared to influence political awareness in the political participation of novice voters who are dominated by students. Based on the problem above, the problem formulation and objective is to analyze the influence of social media literacy on the political awareness of novice voters in the city of Palembang in the spread of hoax news ahead of the 2024 presidential election? The state of the art in this research is that the majority of previous research has focused on the influence of social media on voting decisions, but there has been no research that specifically looks at the influence of media literacy programs initiated by the government to increase the political awareness of first-time voters. Because before the decision to vote, there is a process of awareness of the importance of a person's involvement in voting so that the voting decision will be in accordance with his or her beliefs. The theories used are new media literacy theory (Tzu-Bin Lin) and three patterns of political awareness (Almond & Verba). This research uses a quantitative non-experimental ex post facto approach. The subjects of this research were novice voters in Palembang City at student level, with an age range of 19-24 years. The sample was taken from 77 students in Palembang City. Primary data was taken using a questionnaire and secondary data from literature reviews and related documents. Researchers used clustering sampling techniques, Likert measurement scales and linear regression analysis techniques.
