Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang Perkembangan Pondok Pesantren Mamba’ul Hikam di Blitar 1952-2004. Terdapat dua rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini pertama, bagaimana perkembangan Pondok Pesantren Mamba’ul Hikam di Blitar pada tahun 1952-2004. Kedua, bagaimana dampak Pondok Pesantren Mamba’ul Hikam bagi masyarakat Desa Slemanan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah sebagai bentuk deskripsi untuk mengetahui perkembangan dan dampak dari adanya Pondok Pesantren Mamba’ul Hikam bagi masyarakat Desa Slemanan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian sejarah yang terdiri dari empat tahapan yaitu heuristik, verifikasi, interpretasi dan historiografi. Hasil dari penelitian ini diantaranya: pertama, Pondok Pesantren Mamba’ul Hikam mengalami dua perkembangan yaitu perkembangan jumlah santri dan perkembangan dalam bidang pendidikan. Kedua, adanya Pondok Pesantren Mamba’ul Hikam sangat berpengaruh bagi masyarakat Desa Slemanan yang berdampak pada bidang sosial, agama dan ekonomi.

Abstract

This research discussed the Brug Over den Brantas to Kediri in 1855-1912. People refer to this bridge as the Old Bridge which is a link to the Kediri region. The Old Bridge became one of the facilities built by the Dutch for smooth transportation. It provided benefits for the people of the Kediri region because it could facilitate transportation over the river. This research describes several things related to the Old Bridge, first, how the history of the Old Bridge. Second is how the Old Bridge is a connector of the Kediri region. Third, how the influence of the Old Bridge on the economic development and progress of the Kediri region. This research uses historical methods, namely heuristics, verification, interpretation, and historiography. The results of this study are: First, the Old Bridge was built by the Dutch East Indies government as groote postweg. Second, the Old Bridge plays an important role as a link between two important areas in Kediri; because of the Old Bridge, the relationship between the west and east of the river improved. Third, the Old Bridge had a good influence on the economic growth and development of the Kediri region.

Abstract

This research discusses the role of Egyptian Kyai Ageng Mohammad in the spread of Islam in Ngadirogo Hamlet, Podorejo Village, Sumbergempol District, Tulungagung Regency, 1790-1818. Kyai Ageng Mohammad Egypt is a cleric who spread Islamic teachings and values ​​in Ngadirogo who previously embraced Hindu-Buddhist religion so he was able to convert the majority of Ngadirogo people to Islam. The aim of this research is to explain the biography and contribution of Kyai Ageng Mohammad Egypt in spreading Islam in Ngadirogo. The research method used is a historical research method with four stages, namely heuristics, verification, interpretation and historiography by utilizing oral data sources through interviews and library sources. The results of this research are that Kyai Ageng Mohammad Egypt contributed to spreading Islam in Ngadirogo by teaching the basics of Islam about monotheism and the pillars of Islam and establishing a mosque as a center for preaching. The preaching carried out by Kyai Ageng Mohammad Egypt spread beyond Ngadirogo, thereby creating a spiritual connection. with a student, namely Regent Raden Tumenggung Partowijoyo, who later influenced the change in the status of the Ngrowo Duchy to Tulungagung Regency.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang Kedirische Afdeelingsbank 1908-1934. Kedirische Afdeelingsbank merupakan lembaga keuangan yang didirikan oleh pemerintah Belanda dengan tujuan untuk menyediakan pinjaman dan tempat penyimpanan uang bagi masyarakat Kediri. Adanya Kedirische Afdeelingsbank bertindak sebagai bank daerah yang dapat membantu memenuhi kebutuhan kredit masyarakat. Kemampuan Kedirische Afdeelingsbank dalam memberikan pinjaman mengalami peningkatan hingga masa depresi ekonomi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan sejarah pendirian Kedirische Afdeelingsbank, perkembangan bank hingga perubahan menjadi Algemeene Volkscredietbank serta pengaruh adanya Kedirische Afdeelingsbank pada tahun 1908-1934. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian sejarah yang menurut Kuntowijoyo terdapat empat tahapan yaitu heuristik, kritik, interpretasi, dan historiografi. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah: pertama, Kedirische Afdeelingsbank didirikan sebagai bank kredit rakyat di wilayah Kediri. Kedua, Kedirische Afdeelingsbank mengalami perkembangan dengan adanya kantor cabang di Pare yang menandai peningkatan kegiatan operasi bank dan perubahan menjadi Algemeene Volkscredietbank yang merupakan masa kemunduran Kedirische Afdeelingsbank. Ketiga, Kedirische Afdeelingsbank memberikan pengaruh yang baik bagi peningkatan ekonomi wilayah Kediri.   Kata Kunci : Afdeelingsbank; Kediri; Lembaga Keuangan

Abstract

This research discusses the role of K.H. Dimyati in the spread of Islam in 1950-1989 in Baran, Ploso village, Selopuro subdistrict, Blitar district. K.H. Dimyati is a ulama figure who has influenced the pace of increasing understanding of Islam in the Baran community. This research aims to explain the biography and role of K.H. Dimyati in the spread of Islam in Baran, Ploso Village, Selopuro District, Blitar Regency. This research uses a historical research method which consists of four stages, namely heuristics, verification, interpretation and historiography by utilizing oral data sources through interviews and library sources. The results of this research are K.H. Dimyati, as a cleric who is descended from kiai, has a role in spreading Islam and attracting the religious awareness of the Baran people, especially with his high level of humanity, holding Al-Qur'an sorogans, teaching the yellow book, holding regular recitations specifically for the elderly and teaching kanuragan science. The influence of K.H. Dimyati can be seen from the people who still use the grave of K.H. Dimyati as a pilgrimage destination and sacred.

Abstract

The community service activity “Strengthening Religious Moderation Based on Manuscript Digitization at Pesantren Al Asror Tulungagung” was held on Friday-Saturday, November 8-9, 2024, and was attended by 50 participants from Al Asror Kedungwaru Islamic Boarding School, Tulungagung. The activity was carried out with the stages of providing material about religious moderation and its implications in everyday life providing knowledge and practicing how to process manuscripts for digitization. In implementing this service, it is packaged with lecture, discussion, and question and answer methods and provides skills on manuscript digitization. This activity deepened participants' understanding and attitudes regarding religious moderation in everyday life and manuscript digitization skills as a solution to processing and transferring manuscripts in Islamic boarding schools.
