Abstract

Information technology has been widely adopted by numerous educational institutions, both formal and informal, based on religion or non-religious, The urgency of innovative technologi which appliable to school business processes are rising rapidly within enormous applicable internet of Things available. The research methodology in this research conducted comprehensively. Researcher will used the technolgu of Microcontroller Esp32 to help the implementation of payment in one of the department of the research object. Developing the system within the school system will need very trmendous effort to justify the system accepted by all the stakeholder. Researcher using the srum methods in software development and using the esp32 microcontroller as the thechologu to merged within, researcher hope the capablity of Background Subtraction Algorithm on ESP32, it is elucidated that the background subtraction algorithm can be implemented on the ESP32 device. This device possesses the capability to process image frames measuring 80 x 60 pixels a total of 10,000 times within a temporal span of 2,000 milliseconds (at an approximate rate of ±5,000 frames per secondThe result of this research supposedly achieve the implementation of the microcontroller technology to provide the solution in school business unit payment processes. All the visitor to the business unit are detected with the RFID card using the microcontroller to automate the identification and enabling better transaction process flow.

Abstract

Cybersecurity literacy has been extensively researched and supports the fact that technology users, generally teenagers, tend to lack a strong foundation of specialized knowledge about Cybersecurity. This Community Service activity, aimed at schools, was conducted using a blended-learning training method and interactive, practice-based educational methods. The resource persons who delivered the material in this activity focused on strengthening participants' fundamental knowledge in Cybersecurity and raising awareness of the importance of device security and early prevention of cyberattacks. This training also included simulation-based Technical Skills, or hands-on practice, in setting up smartphone devices and desktops, and browser applications, such as activating two-factor authentication (2FA), configuring content privacy settings, auditing third-party application permissions, and an introduction to suspicious link detection techniques on smartphone interfaces.Literasi keamanan siber (Cybersecurity) banyak diteliti dan mendukung bahwa pengguna teknologi umumnya remaja cenderung tidak memilki pondasi kuat terhadap pengetahuan khusus tentang keamanan siber. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat yang ditujukan kepada sekolah ini dilakukan dengan metode pelatihan blended learning dan juga menggunakan metode edukasi yang interaktif berbasis praktik. Narasumber yang menyampaikan materi pada kegiatan ini berfokus pada Penguatan fundamental pengetahuan peserta pada bidang keamanan siber serta fokus pada Kesadaran (awareness) pada pentingnya pengamanan perangkat dan pencegahan dini atas serangan siber (cyberattack). Pelatihan ini juga mencakup Kemampuan Teknis berbasis simulasi atau praktik langsung dalam melakukan pengaturan (setting) pada perangkat smartphone, desktop dan aplikasi browser seperti aktivasi fitur autentikasi dua faktor (2FA), pengaturan privasi konten, audit izin aplikasi pihak ketiga, dan pengenalan teknik deteksi tautan mencurigakan pada antarmuka smartphone

Abstract

Pelaku usaha sering menghadapi kendala dalam pencatatan transaksi manual yang berdampak pada efisiensi operasional. Penelitian ini mengembangkan sistem informasi kasir untuk Rumah Makan Amy guna mengatasi permasalahan tersebut dengan mengutamakan peningkatan kecepatan pemrosesan dan pencatatan data. Metode pengembangan sistem yang digunakan adalah Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) model Waterfall, yang memberikan struktur tahapan yang jelas mulai dari analisis kebutuhan hingga implementasi. Sistem dibangun dengan arsitektur web menggunakan Visual Studio Code sebagai IDE dan MySQL sebagai manajemen basis data. Fitur utama yang diimplementasikan meliputi pengelolaan menu, pencatatan otomatis transaksi pemesanan dalam bentuk riwayat digital, serta generasi laporan keuangan terintegrasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem ini berhasil mentransformasi proses manual menjadi otomatis, memberikan solusi terhadap kendala pencatatan, dan meningkatkan efisiensi operasional rumah makan. Temuan ini sejalan dengan penelitian sebelumnya yang membuktikan bahwa sistem kasir berbasis teknologi dapat meningkatkan akurasi data, kecepatan layanan, dan kapasitas keuntungan usaha. Implementasi sistem ini tidak hanya menyelesaikan masalah akut pencatatan, tetapi juga membentuk fondasi digital untuk skalabilitas bisnis di masa depan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis data karyawan IT dalam rangka mendukung pengambilan keputusan terkait perpanjangan kontrak kerja. Dataset yang digunakan mencakup data karyawan IT selama periode enam tahun dengan 19 atribut utama, termasuk latar belakang pendidikan, jabatan, durasi kontrak, dan status kepegawaian. Metode penelitian dilakukan melalui tahapan analisis data intelligence yang meliputi proses filterisasi, pembersihan data, serta analisis deskriptif dan korelasional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas karyawan IT memiliki latar belakang pendidikan sarjana (S1), yang mencerminkan standar rekrutmen yang relatif tinggi. Distribusi durasi kontrak didominasi oleh rentang 7–12 bulan, dengan tingkat keberhasilan probation yang dapat diidentifikasi melalui perbandingan status lulus dan diperpanjang terhadap tidak lulus. Korelasi positif yang kuat (0,65) antara kesesuaian pendidikan IT dan durasi kontrak mengindikasikan bahwa latar belakang pendidikan berpengaruh terhadap retensi karyawan. Dari sisi jabatan, peran senior seperti Project Manager memiliki tingkat retensi tertinggi, sementara peran developer menunjukkan durasi kontrak yang konsisten. Penelitian ini juga menemukan bahwa sekitar 60% resign terjadi dalam enam bulan pertama masa kerja, sehingga bulan ke-3 dan ke-6 diidentifikasi sebagai waktu optimal untuk intervensi retensi.

Abstract

The development of the digital economy requires MSME actors, including PKK community groups, to possess technopreneurship skills and the ability to utilize digital payment systems. However, limited technological literacy and digital banking competence remain major challenges. This community service program aims to enhance technopreneurship understanding and skills, as well as to optimize the use of digital banking through Virtual Account (VA) features in e-commerce transactions among the PKK group of Puri Rhabayu, Batam City. The program was implemented using a participatory and practical approach through face-to-face training sessions, conceptual material delivery, technical skill training, e-commerce transaction simulations, and hands-on practice mentoring. The training materials covered technopreneurship concepts and types, the utilization of e-commerce platforms, basic digital marketing strategies, and the use of Virtual Accounts in online buying and selling transactions. The results indicate a significant improvement in participants’ technopreneurship understanding, digital banking literacy, and ability to independently conduct e-commerce transactions using Virtual Accounts. In addition, the program increased entrepreneurial motivation, production creativity, and awareness of legal aspects related to digital transactions. Overall, this program was considered successful and has strong potential for sustainable development in technology-based community economic empowerment.

Abstract

This study focuses on designing and building a desktop-based Point of Sales system with inventory management that supports transactions in small businesses, specifically for in this paper, the I.M Store using Visual Studio, VB.NET and MySQL as well as UML. This system is integrated with a barcode scanner and a thermal printer to support sales processing. An iterative software development approach with steps such as: requirements, design and development, testing and evaluation were used to ensure that the system is designed and developed according to the stores documented needs. The system is designed to support three user roles, namely the administrator, cashier, and employee, each with different access rights. The developed application allows the administrator to manage master data and reports as well as backup and restore feature, for cashiers to process sales and return submissions due to buyer complaints to the administrator, and for employees to manage pickup and delivery sales as well as return submissions for problematic products at the store to the administrator. Evaluation results show that the system operates correctly and fulfills the operational needs in Store I.M. This research concludes that a desktop-based POS system can be used to support small business operations

Abstract

The availability of transaction data in culinary SMEs offers opportunities for data-driven decision-making, yet it is often underutilized. This study proposes a Smart Pricing and menu bundling recommendation system for Moon Cafe Batam using data intelligence. The research applies the CRISP-DM framework to analyze historical transaction data from a POS system. The FP-Growth algorithm is used to identify frequent itemsets and association rules that represent customer purchasing patterns. These patterns are combined with Cost of Goods Sold (COGS/HPP) calculations to generate menu bundling and pricing recommendations that consider profitability. The system is implemented as a web-based application using React.js, PHP, and MySQL, and evaluated through black-box testing. The results show that the system can support structured menu bundling analysis and pricing simulations, enabling managers to make more objective and data-driven decisions in culinary SMEs.

Abstract

Pengelolaan aset di SDS Dhamma Sasana masih dilakukan secara konvensional menggunakan buku fisik dan Microsoft Excel yang terpisah, mengakibatkan inkonsistensi data stok dan ketiadaan rekam jejak peminjaman. Penelitian ini bertujuan membangun sistem informasi berbasis web untuk sentralisasi inventaris dan digitalisasi sirkulasi barang. Metode pengembangan menggunakan SDLC model Waterfall dengan arsitektur Frontend React.js, Backend Node.js, dan basis data MySQL, serta diuji menggunakan Black Box Testing. Hasil penelitian berupa aplikasi web yang mengintegrasikan pencatatan aset satu pintu dan menyediakan fitur transaksi peminjaman digital dengan validasi stok otomatis. Disimpulkan bahwa sistem ini efektif mengatasi redundansi data, menjamin akuntabilitas melalui jejak audit digital, dan meningkatkan efisiensi pemantauan aset sekolah secara real-time.

Abstract

Library management at SMP Negeri 31 Batam was previously carried out manually using logbooks, which often caused data inaccuracies, delays in information retrieval, and difficulties in tracking book loans and inventory. This study aims to design and develop a web-based e-library application to improve the efficiency and accuracy of library administration. The system was developed using the Extreme Programming (XP) method, which emphasizes incremental development, user involvement, and flexibility in handling changing requirements. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation to identify system requirements. The developed application provides features for managing book data, member registration, borrowing and returning transactions, recording damaged and lost books, book procurement, and automatic report generation. MySQL is used as the database to ensure structured and integrated data storage. The results indicate that the e-library system is able to accelerate administrative processes, reduce data recording errors, and improve the quality of library services for both students and librarians.
