Abstract

Abstract Occupational health and safety (OHS) needs to be understood and applied in every job, including practice in laboratories and workshops that facilitate students to avoid accidents when using equipment and machines. Most of the learning activities during the Covid-19 pandemic were carried out at home, and therefore the insights about work safety must be instilled in students. This service activity aims to provide insight of OHS to Vocational High School (SMK) students through training. The activity was carried out at SMK Parulian 3 Medan. The OHS implementation training is conducted online using Zoom-meeting, which includes presenting the OHS material followed by interactive discussions. The training materials distributed were about the basics of OHS, personal protective equipment, and ergonomics. The training materials are needed by SMK students. Students' understanding of the application of OHS in the practical learning process increases so that there are no injuries or accidents. Students' awareness is formed to prioritize safety and security at work. The results of the evaluation show that the training process, the benefits of training, and the presenters have delivered the material well and can be accepted by students. It is necessary to carry out the continuity of OHS training activities directly to facilitate communication and discussion. Keywords: Training, Occupational Health and Safety, Covid-19, Personal Protective Equipment

Abstract

Kemajuan tekhnologi berkembang sangat pesat akibat adanya perubahan situasi dan kondisi yang muncul tiba tiba. Hal ini memberikan dampak pada dunia Pendidikan, dimana para tenaga pendidik dituntut harus siap dalam mengelola tekhnologi terutama dalam pembelajaran jarak jauh. Salah satu fitur yang bisa dimanfaatkan tenaga pendidik dalam mengelola pembelajaran jarak jauh adalah dengan mengkolaborasikan Google Suite for Education, sehingga tenaga pendidik mampu memaksimalkan proses belajara mengajar siswa secara jarak jauh menggunakan fitur tersebut. Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk membantu para guru di Perguruan Islam Ar-Ridha dalam mengenal dan mengakses fitur yang tersedia pada Google Suite for Education, sehingga pembelajaran secara jarak jauh dapat berjalan dengan baik. Pengabdian ini dilakukan dengan metode sosialisasi oleh narasumber yang sudah memiliki pengalaman dan melakukan praktik lapangan secara rutin. Pelatihan ini diadakan bagi guru tingkat Madrasah Iptidaiyah selama kurang lebih 3 jam dengan materi mengkolaborasikan google classroom, dan google form sebagai media pembelajaran. Hasil pelatihan berdasarkan Analisa kuisioner, dimana 88,9% peserta merasa materi pelatihan memiliki manfaat penting bagi mereka, serta 66,7 % peserta sudah berhasil menguasai dan mampu mengelola fitur Google Suite for Education dengan baik. Abstract

Abstrak: Desain Pembelajaran merupakan mata kuliah wajib di Jurusan Pendidikan Teknik Mesin Unimed, salah satu materinya membahas bidang model pembelajaran yang selama ini hanya menggunakan media pembelajaran tercetak secara hardcopy dan dipresentasikan menggunakan media Power Point.  Untuk meningkatkan kompetensi mahasiswa diperlukan media pembelajaran yang bersifat interaktif.  Mengingat tidak tersedianya media pembelajaran multimedia interaktif, maka dikembangkan multimedia interaktif pokok bahasan Model Pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE.  Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kelayakan multimedia interaktif pokok bahasan Model Pembelajaran menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE.  Kelayakan multimedia interaktif didapatkan dari tiga tahap model pengembangan ADDIE,  yakni: (1) analysis, melakukan analisis kebutuhan Mata kuliah Desain Pembelajaran; (2) design, menentukan tujuan pembelajaran dan merancang multimedia interaktif; (3) development, mengembangkan multimedia interaktif dengan melibatkan ahli materi, ahli desain pembelajaran, dan ahli media pembelajaran sebagai validator (ADD). Teknik pengumpulan data untuk mengevaluasi kelayakan multimedia interaktif dilakukan melalui penyebaran kuesioner. Kriteria evaluasi kelayakan menggunakan skala Likert, dengan 5 jenis nilai yaitu: 5 (sangat baik), 4 (baik), 3 (cukup baik), 2 (kurang) dan 1 (sangat kurang) yang dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kelayakan ahli materi sebesar 89,67%, ahli disain pembelajaran sebesar 88,50% dan ahli media pembelajaran sebesar 86,33%. Disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran multimedia interaktif yang dikembangkan sangat layak untuk diimplementasikan. Kata kunci:  kelayakan, multimedia interaktif, model pembelajaran, ADDIE Abstract: The Learning Design course in the Unimed Mechanical Engineering Education Department is a compulsory subject, where one of the materials discusses the field of learning models which so far only use printed learning media in hardcopy and presented using Power Point media. To increase student competence, interactive learning media is needed. Given the unavailability of learning media in the form of interactive multimedia, an interactive multimedia learning model was developed using the ADDIE development model. The aims of this research was to determine the feasibility of interactive multimedia as the subject matter of the learning model using the ADDIE development model. The feasibility of interactive multimedia is obtained from the three stages of the ADDIE development model, namely: (1) analysis, conducting a needs analysis for the Learning Design course; (2) design, determining the learning objectives and designing interactive multimedia; (3) development, developing interactive multimedia by involving the experts of material, learning design and learning media as validators (ADD). Techniques of data collection to assess the feasibility of interactive multimedia are carried out by distributing questionnaires. The feasibility assessment criteria used a Likert scale, with category values of 5 (excellent), 4 (very good), 3 (good), 2 (fair) and 1 (poor), which were analyzed descriptively. The results of this study showed that the feasibility of material experts was 89.67%, instructional design experts 88.50%, and instructional media experts 86.33%. The main result can be concluded that the interactive multimedia subject of the learning model developed is very feasible to be implemented.Keywords: feasibility, interactive multimedia, learning model, ADDIE

Abstract

The partners in this Community Partnership Program (PKM) activity are the Maju Tani Group located in Boangmanalu Village, Salak District, Pakpak Bharat Regency. The problems found in partners are in the production sector, namely the size of the pineapple chips is irregular and the partners do not understand how to determine the selling price of the product. Improvements to the pineapple chip business need to be done to improve and maintain business continuity. Handling of this problem is also important because the Maju Tani group are farmer-based entrepreneurs who need to be equipped with business knowledge so they can advance their business. The solution offered to overcome this problem is to provide a pineapple slicer tool and provide business financial management training. The method of implementing this activity is training and mentoring.

Abstract

The Entrepreneurship sector plays an important role in the nation progress. The partner in this Community Service is Maju Tani Group in Pakpak Bharat Regency. The purpose of this activity is to improve the pineapple chips business of the Maju Tani group in order to maintain business continuity. The problem found is the product less recognized by the community. The solution offered to overcome this problem is to conduct digital marketing training and endorsement of pineapple chips on social media. The method of implementing this activity is training and mentoring. In this service activity, the service team helped partners create business social media and make a video endorsement of chips. Abstract

This community service aims to enhance and sustain business operations to increase production capacity, ultimately improving the economic conditions of the partners. The process includes analyzing the situation, identifying issues, conducting Focus Group Discussions, preparing tools and materials, providing training and mentoring, and finally, evaluating the outcomes. The community service activity will primarily use training and mentoring methods. Through this, Barisan Sada Orjok members will gain hands-on experience in boosting their business by training and assisting partners with marketplace account creation and e-commerce registration. Additionally, organizational governance training led to the development of a new organizational structure with specific job descriptions for each member.

Abstract

Gambier plants thrive in tropical regions with sloping and hilly terrain, such as North Sumatra, West Sumatra, and Papua. The partners in this community service proposal are the Im Kita Farmers Group in Boangmanalu Village, Salak District, Pakpak Bharat Regency, who are gambier farmers. Over the past 7 years of running the business, the partners have faced many challenges, including the lack of digital marketing and the absence of a sharp business strategy management, resulting in weak business competitiveness. Addressing this issue urgently is necessary to improve the welfare of the partners and as a form of empowerment of our own natural resources. This community service activity has been carried out on July 27, 2024, and all stages from preparation to implementation have run smoothly. Through this activity, the partners have been trained in conducting digital marketing and business strategy management training.
