Abstract

This study aims to determine the income of coconut farming in Makawidey Village, Aertembaga District, Bitung City. This research was conducted for 2 months, from March to May 2022. The data analysis method used in this study was quantitative analysis. Quantitative analysis used is the analysis in determining production, revenue, costs and income. The data used are primary data and secondary data. Primary data was obtained through direct interviews with farmers who own coconut land and those who cultivate coconuts using a prepared questionnaire and observation in the field. Secondary data were obtained from agencies related to this research. The results showed that the income of coconut farming in Makawidey Subdistrict, Aertembaga District, Bitung City with the coconut management fee system was IDR3,764,689 per farmer and income per hectare was IDR1,792,964. Coconut farming income by processing the profitsharing system is IDR3,058,539 per farmer, and IDR1,456,475 per hectare. Coconut processing with a wage system is greater than the profitsharing system.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the factors that influence the income of vegetable traders in the Pinasungkulan Karombasan market. The type of data in this study is primary data obtained directly from interviews and through questionnaires distributed to respondents, namely vegetable traders at the Pinasungkulan Karombasan market, and also through secondary data from previous research journals. The number of samples in this study amounted to 37 respondents with a census technique according to direct observation during the pre-survey. The results of this study indicate the factors that influence the income of vegetable traders in the Pinasungkulan Karombasan market, namely capital, level of education, length of business and hours of work. Factors that significantly influence are capital and working hours. The level of education and length of business have no significant effect on the income of vegetable traders at the pinasungkulan karombasan market, Manado City.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the marketing efficiency of curly chilies in Touure Dua Village, west Tompaso District, Minahasa Regency. This research eas carried out for 3 months starting from March to Mei 2022. The determination of the farmer sample was carried out using the purposive sampling method. The data used are primary data and secondary data. Primary data throught interviews and filling out questionnaires to 16 respondents, secondary data obtained from related agencies. The data analysis used was descriptive analysis method, namely the data collected in this study were tabularized, then grouped according to research variabels. The results showed that Touure Dua Village has 2 marketing channels, namely second-level marketing and third-level marketing, and it can be concluded that both marketing channels are all profitable. Marketing channel I is more efficient than marketing channel II. This is because marketing channel I is lower in marketing costs incurred and has a short channel, which means that curly chilies reach consumers faster and reduce the state of damage to curly chilies in the transportation and distribution process, then the higher the share received by farmers (farmer share) which is 74% and 71% for marketing channel I and marketing channel II, then the efficiency of marketing channel II can be said to be efficient because <50%, namely channel I marketing efficiency value is 1.11% while marketing channel II efficiency value is 2.06%. Based on the level of efficiency, channel I is more efficient because <50%. The efficiency process can change depending on the price of curly chili.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the marketing strategy at the Septia Tani Store in Talawaan Village, Talawaan District, North Minahasa Regency. The sample in this study was the Owner or owner of the "Septia Tani" Shop in Talawaan Village, Talawaan District, North Minahasa Regency. The sampling method is carried out by purposive sampling method or intentionally, because the "Septia Tani" Shop is relatively more advanced than other agricultural stores in Talawaan District. The analysis method used is SWOT analysis (Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, Threat). Data management is used with SWOT analysis and is processed through internal and external factors. Then carry out the preparation of the strategy using the SWOT matrix. Based on the results of the study, the marketing strategy of Toko Septia Tani is in the first quadrant. Toko Septia Tani is in a very advantageous position in maximizing business growth with a strategy of taking advantage of market opportunities and internal strength.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the service quality of Indomaret Ranotana Weru employees, Wanea District, Manado City. This research was conducted for 3 months starting from April to June 2023. The method used in this research was a survey method by taking primary and secondary data. The sampling method in this research was the accidental sampling method. This research was analyzed descriptively and presented in table form. Based on the research results, it shows that the service quality of Indomaret Ranotana Weru employees, Wanea District, Manado City received service quality assessment results in the high category with a percentage of 59.44%. Of the 6 indicators of service quality, 4 indicators were in the high category, namely speed of service, appearance, products and public facilities, and 2 indicators were in the medium category, namely responsiveness and attitude.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the marketing margin of Stekaifarm hydroponic lettuce vegetables in Tomohon city, Wailan Village, North Tomohon District.This study uses primary data types and secondary data. Primary data obtained by themselves from observations that have been carried out directly at the research location as well as from interviews with respondents. Meanwhile, secondary data is data sourced from data that has been issued by Stekaifarm Sampling is carried out by interviewing farmers to find out other sample sources (Snowball Sampling). The number of research samples was 1 corn farmer and 3 retailers. The results of the study were analyzed using marketing margin analysis. The results of the study were analyzed using marketing margin analysis. Based on the results of the research that has been done, it can be concluded that there are only 2 levels of Stekaifarm lettuce marketing with 1 zero-level marketing pattern and 3 one-level marketing patterns. From the results of the study, the margin obtained by each institution varies in pattern I marketing level one margin obtained IDR30,000 with a profit margin of IDR19,925, pattern channel II level one IDR25,000 with profit margin IDR16,499 and pattern channel III level one IDR25,000 with profit margin of IDR23,525. The largest margin is found in the channel I pattern while the largest profit margin is in the channel III pattern. There is a difference in profit margin in each institution because the costs incurred are also different from the pattern of the first channel which has the largest marketing costs because the marketing channel is the longest.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the demand for tomatoes in Maesaan District, South Minahasa Regency. This research was conducted in Maesaan District, South Minahasa Regency. The research was carried out for 3 months, starting from June to August. This study uses two types of data sources, namely primary and secondary data. Primary data was obtained by means of direct interviews with tomato consumers in the market. Meanwhile, secondary data was obtained through related institutions and previous research journals. Sampling in this study using a method (convenience sampling) which is to collect information from members of the population, the number of which is used as a sample is 30 tomato consumers. The variables studied in this study were the price of tomatoes, the level of income, the price of complementary goods and the number of family members. The analytical model used to estimate the factors that influence the demand for tomatoes in this study is multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of research on the factors that influence the demand for tomato commodities in Maesaan District, it can be concluded that prices and income significantly affect the demand for tomatoes, while the price of complementary goods and the number of family members do not affect the demand for tomatoes in Maesaan District.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the behavior of mobile vegetable traders during the Covid-19 pandemic era in Sea Dua Village, Pineleng District, Minahasa Regency. The research was carried out from October to December 2021, which was located in Sea Dua Village, Pineleng District, Minahasa Regency. Sampling used accidental sampling and determined as many as 10 mobile vegetable traders who use motorbikes and the purpose of trading locations is in the Village of Sea Dua. The data obtained in this study are primary data by looking at the behavior of mobile vegetable traders in the era of the covid-19 pandemic. The data collection technique that will be carried out in this study is to conduct direct questions and answers to respondents based on a questionnaire (question list) that has been prepared according to research needs. The study used a qualitative descriptive method in the form of a Likert scale. In this study, the highest and lowest scores were determined. The results showed that the behavior of mobile vegetable traders during the Covid-19 pandemic era in Sea Dua Village based on the knowledge of traders about the existence of a pandemic scored (68.75%) in the good category, based on the attitude of traders during the pandemic scored (75%) in the good category, and based on the actions of the trader got a score (55%) in the bad category.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of the "Anugrah Satu" farmer group in developing the potato commodity. This research was conducted in Linelean Village, Modoinding District, South Minahasa Regency, planned for 3 months, namely July to September 2023. The data collection method used primary and secondary data. Data collection in this study was carried out in 3 stages, namely observation, interviews and documentation. The population in this study were all members of the Anugrah Satu farmer group totaling 20 people. The sample was taken as a whole farmer group member or saturated sample. Data was measured with a Likert scale, then analyzed using the Role Level Index. The results showed that based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the level of role of the Anugrah Satu farmer group in the development of potato commodities in Linelean Village, Modoinding Subdistrict, South Minahasa Regency is classified in the Very Role category, with an index number of 85.91%. The Anugrah Satu farmer group can still increase its role in the development of potato commodities to a higher level at an index number of 90-95%.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to determine the extent of work hour allocation by youth in corn farming in Tompasobaru Satu Village. The data analysis method used is quantitative to calculate the Work Hours Allocation in corn farming. The data utilized in this research includes primary data and secondary data. The primary data is obtained through interviews using questionnaires, while the secondary data is obtained from journals and theses. The research results indicate that the work hour allocation by youth in corn farming is 7 hours per day for each process of activities as follows: 7 hours per day for land preparation, 7 hours per day for planting, 3 to 6 hours per day for weeding, 7 hours per day for fertilization, 7 hours per day for pest and disease control, 7 hours per day for harvesting, 0 hours for husking, 3 to 5 hours per day for transportation, 7 hours per day for drying, 3 to 6 hours per day for sorting and grading, 7 hours per day for storage, and 1 hour per day for selling.
