Abstract

Currently there is no method, feature, or ability in securing data transmission in microcontroller systems and applications with client-server scheme communication, while major modern computer systems using secure socket layer (SSL) for establishing secure communication. However, ESP espressif based microcontroller has supported SSL communication to secure data transmission, but only works on the Wi-Fi network. A single-board computer based embedded system has fully supported SSL communication, but it costs a very high price. On the other hand, STM32F103 microcontrollers with a very affordable price even cheaper than the Arduino board has the opportunity to build secure data communication using SSL protocol based on MbedTLS library. In addition to wiznet W5100/W5500 ethernet shield, an STM32F103 SSL client device has been successfully built in this study. The SSL client device supports ECDHE ECDHA AES128 CBC SHA256 SSL cipher suite. The Apache web server must also be configured to support this cipher suite by generating OpenSSL ECC (elliptic curve cryptography) certificate. The system was tested with the LM35 analog temperature sensor, and as a result, the STM32F103 SSL client has successfully secured the data transmission to the Apache SSL web server. The communication time was 3 seconds for the first connection and 42 ms for the next data transmission.

Abstract

Komite sekolah merupakan sebuah lembaga yang bertujuan untuk membangun mutu sekolah agar sesuai dengan visi dan misi sekolah serta memiliki kekhasan yang dapat menjadi kekuatan dan daya tarik sekolah tersebut. Adapun tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah untuk membentuk komite sekolah di Kelompok Bermain (KB) Tanah Merah Kecamatan Galang. Pembentukan komite sekolah ini dilakukan untuk membantu menyelesaikan permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh para pengajar di Kelompok Bermain tersebut. Permasalahan utamanya adalah permasalahan sosial, yaitu permasalahan komunikasi antara pihak sekolah dan wali murid pihak sekolah kesulitan dalam menyampaikan kepada para wali murid bahwa visi misi dan tujuan Kelompok Bermain menitikberatkan pada peletakan dasar kearah pertumbuhan dan perkembangan fisik (koordinasi motorik halus dan kasar), kecerdasan daya pikir, daya cipta kecerdasan emosi, kecerdasan spiritual, sosial emosional (sikap dan perilaku serta agama), bahasa, dan komunikasi, sesuai dengan keunikan dan tahap-tahap perkembangan yang dilalui anak usia dini. Pendekatan antropolinguistik diaplikasikan dalam membentuk dan memilih anggota komite agar dapat bekerjasama dengan pihak sekolah dan medukung visi dan misi Kelompok Bermain. Dalam prosedur pembentukan komite dan pemilihan anggota dilakukan secara pendekatan komunikasi dengan pihak sekolah dalam mendapatkan informasi mendalam mengenai performansi anggota yang mewakili wali murid dan tokoh masyarakat. Selanjutnya dilakukan persamaan persepsi agar para anggota komite dapat melakukan tugasnya dengan baik.

Abstract

The increasing implementation of autonomous robots in industries and daily life demands the development of a robust control algorithm that enables robots to perform their tasks successfully. Critical tasks such as rescue missions and area exploration require robots to work cooperatively in a formation to accomplish the tasks quickly. Moreover, the existence of obstacles in the environment requires all the robots' to rapidly process environmental changes to maintain the formation pattern. Thus, this paper introduces a distributed robot formation control system using the consensus algorithm that enables a group of robots to establish and maintain formations using only the local information of the robots. Furthermore, an obstacle avoidance algorithm based on the distance and angle between robots and obstacles is introduced to ensure safe navigation for the group of robots. The algorithm's effectiveness is demonstrated by a multi-robot system with randomly generated starting positions and velocities, where it is shown that the robots can agree on the control variables and establish the required formation while also avoiding obstacles in the environment.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of prophetic leadership and job satisfaction toward organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) on employees of Prof. Dr. H. Kadirun Yahya Foundation in Medan. The study used a survey model involving 64 employees of Prof. Dr. H. Kadirun Yahya Foundation in Medan. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results indicated that prophetic leadership and job satisfaction significantly positively influenced organizational citizenship behavior (OCB). The coefficient of the determinant (R²) of prophetic leadership and job satisfaction showed a value of 0.134, meaning that variation of organizational citizenship behavior is influenced by prophetic leadership and job satisfaction as much as 13.4%, and other factors influenced the rest.
