Abstract

The connecting book is an administrative form prepared by Elementary School (SD) teachers to serve as an indirect communication tool for conveying important information about a child's development at school. SDIT Al-Hakim Merauke, one of the schools that implements the communication book system, currently still uses a manual method to fill out the book. This process is carried out by homeroom teachers with the aim of providing information and assessments of students' behavior at school to their parents. However, manual entry makes the communication book vulnerable to damage and the possibility of loss. In addition, the number of communication books that each teacher must manage also makes the recording process less efficient. Therefore, the background of this research is to develop a web-based informaton system aimed at assisting homeroom teachers and parents in the communication book recording process, as well as presenting students' progress at school more efficiently. The creation and development of this system use the Waterfall approach, utilizing PHP programming language and MySQL as the database management. Thus, the result of this research is an application that can provide information effectively and efficiently. The User Acceptance Test results indicate that 87.63% of users indicate that this communication book application can facilitate homeroom teachers and parents in the communication book recording process and provide information about students' development and activities at school.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan dan memodelkan suatu sistem keamanan dengan memanfaatkan teknologi RFID dan mikrokontroller pada Laboratorium Perikanan Merauke. Pintu laboratorium perikanan sering kali menjadi titik masuk terhadap akses yang tidak diinginkan. Pengamanan pintu laboratorium saat ini masih menggunakan kunci gembok yang rentan terhadap duplikasi atau penggandaan, sehingga berpotensi memungkinkan akses yang tidak sah, mengurangi sterilisasinya, dan meningkatkan risiko pencurian peralatan laboratorium. Sehingga Sistem Keamanan Pintu Laboratorium Perikanan yang dirancang ini dapat memenuhi kebutuhan yang diperlukan yaitu membantu keamanan pintu laboratorium. Dengan menggunakan mikrokontroller ESP8266 dan pencatatan akses aktivitas menggunakan perangkat lunak spreadsheet telah dihasilkan suatu prototype sistem keamanan yang terjamin hak akses yang diberikan serta dari hasil korespondensi pengguna dengan sistem yang dibangun, memperoleh 87,24% jawaban sistem sangat membantu dalam mengelola  data dan informasi mengenai perekaman akses dari setiap pengguna yang mengakses Laboratorium Perikanan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengembangkan Sistem Informasi Manajemen Perpustakaan berbasis web di Universitas Musamus. Sistem ini dirancang untuk meningkatkan efisiensi pengelolaan perpustakaan dan mempermudah akses terhadap sumber daya akademik bagi mahasiswa dan dosen. Dengan pendekatan model pengembangan perangkat lunak Waterfall, penelitian ini mencakup analisis kebutuhan, perancangan, implementasi, dan pengujian sistem. Fitur-fitur yang yang ada meliputi peminjaman digital, pencarian buku, dan dashboard berbasis web untuk admin dan pengguna. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem ini berpotensi meningkatkan fleksibilitas, kecepatan, dan kemudahan akses informasi di lingkungan akademik. Sistem ini diharapkan dapat menjadi model bagi perpustakaan lain dalam mengembangkan sistem serupa.

Abstract

Roads are infrastructure for organizing transportation, which are places for traffic to flow both for people and goods to reach destinations safely, securely, comfortably, quickly, smoothly, orderly, and efficiently, especially roads in residential areas. Setting priorities for the road improvement program is the responsibility of the Public Housing, Settlement Areas, and Land Affairs Office, which handles technical planning, development, arrangement, supervision, and control of development in residential areas. Recommendations for road proposals for the currently running improvement program, based on an assessment of their physical condition, are carried out by experts. This prioritization certainly takes a long time because experts have to compare the physical conditions of the roads one by one to make a decision. A decision support system is specifically designed for the decision-making process that can be applied in various aspects of the decision-making field. Recommendations for alternative roads in the road improvement program were analyzed using the SMART method to find alternatives with the highest preference value and the advantage that they can be used for all weighting techniques. Accuracy testing shows that the priority recommendation output presented by the application has an accuracy rate of 80%. This value is obtained by comparing the results of recommendations from experts.

Abstract

The Kharisma Sejati Women's Farmers Group in Sumber Mulya Village, Kurik District, Merauke Regency, faces challenges in manually watering horticultural crops using dippers, buckets, and hoses. This method was time-consuming, labor-intensive, and wasteful, while water sources rely solely on reservoirs and rainwater ponds. To address these issues, a community service program was conducted in the form of training and implementation of an Internet of Things (IoT)-based irrigation system controlled by a smartphone application. This community service program aims to introduce and train the Kharisma Sejati Women's Farmers Group in the use of an IoT-based irrigation system, and to implement it on horticultural land to improve water efficiency and reduce work time. The implementation method included five stages: outreach, technical training, plot demonstrations, mentoring and evaluation, and program sustainability planning. The results showed that the IoT-based irrigation system can save up to 40% of water time and reduce water use by around 30% compared to manual methods. In addition, the application of this technology makes chili plant growth more uniform and improves the digital skills and confidence of women's farmer group members in managing modern agriculture. The program's main advantages are its practicality, water efficiency, consistency, and ability to increase horticultural productivity. Its limitations include its dependence on electricity, network connectivity, and initial adaptation to the application. Going forward, the program has the potential to be developed through more precise technology integration, implementation with other farmer groups, infrastructure support, and the use of digital markets, making it a model for sustainable agricultural innovation in the Merauke region. Kelompok Tani Wanita Kharisma Sejati di Kampung Sumber Mulya, Distrik Kurik, Kabupaten Merauke menghadapi kendala penyiraman tanaman hortikultura yang masih dilakukan secara manual menggunakan gayung, ember, dan selang. Cara ini membutuhkan waktu lama, tenaga besar, serta boros air, sementara sumber air hanya bergantung pada waduk dan kolam tadah hujan. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut, dilakukan program pengabdian berupa pelatihan dan penerapan sistem penyiraman berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) yang dikendalikan melalui aplikasi smartphone. Pengabdian ini bertujuan mengenalkan dan melatih Kelompok Tani Wanita Kharisma Sejati dalam penggunaan sistem penyiraman berbasis IoT, serta mengimplementasikannya pada lahan hortikultura guna meningkatkan efisiensi air dan waktu kerja. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi lima tahap: sosialisasi, pelatihan teknis, demonstrasi plot, pendampingan dan evaluasi, serta perencanaan keberlanjutan program. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa sistem penyiraman berbasis IoT mampu menghemat waktu penyiraman hingga ±40% dan penggunaan air sekitar ±30% dibandingkan metode manual. Selain itu, penerapan teknologi ini membuat pertumbuhan tanaman cabai lebih seragam serta meningkatkan keterampilan digital dan kepercayaan diri anggota kelompok tani wanita dalam mengelola pertanian modern. Kelebihan utama program ini adalah praktis, hemat air, konsisten, dan mampu meningkatkan produktivitas hortikultura, sedangkan keterbatasannya adalah ketergantungan pada listrik, jaringan, dan adaptasi awal penggunaan aplikasi. Ke depan, program ini berpotensi dikembangkan melalui integrasi teknologi yang lebih presisi, penerapan pada kelompok tani lain. Dukungan infrastruktur, serta pemanfaatan pasar digital, sehingga dapat menjadi model inovasi pertanian berkelanjutan di wilayah Merauke.
