Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to find out BIMWIN as a communication strategy for the Islamic Community Guidance in Ponorogo Regency in preventing divorce. The location of this study was located in the Islamic Guidance Office of Ponorogo Regency with the research subjects being the Head of the Islamic Guidance Section in Ponorogo Regency, the chief executive of BIMWIN, the facilitator and BIMWIN participants. The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection methods through interviews, observation and documentation. The results showed that in an effort to prevent divorce, the Islamic Community Guidance in Ponorogo Regency carried out Marriage Guidance activities for prospective bridal partners. The mapping of communicants is based on the sociological and psychological aspects of the participants. The message delivery strategy is packaged in the form of lectures and group discussions that focus on participants. The media used are LCD projectors, white boards and the Sakinah Family Foundation book. The strategy of selecting communicators is based on aspects of credibility and attractiveness so that those who are used as communicators in the implementation of BIMWIN are facilitators who have been certified in the field of motivators and sakinah family counselors.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the interpersonal communication of husband and wife in preventing divorce. The location of research in Ponorogo Regency with the subject of research five couples who have been divorced by Ponorogo Religious Court. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through interviews, observation and documentation. The results showed that interpersonal communication husband and wife less well awakened due to disharmony interpersonal relationships in the family. Factors that lead to disharmony interpersonal relationships in the family is the attitude of disbelief between husband and wife caused by lack of honesty and mutual attitude of each partner in the family causing interpersonal conflict and lead to divorce. This study provides recommendations to the community, especially couples to build good interpersonal communication in the family by always putting honest and open attitude so that any problems that arise in the family can be resolved properly.

Abstract

Pembelajaran bahasa resmi di Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor Kampus 2 merupakan langkah awal yang harus dilakukan oleh staf LAC kepada santri baru. Bahasa resmi yang dipelajari oleh santri baru bagaikan asas pondasi sebuah bangunan, apabila pondasinya kuat maka bangunan yang ada diatasnya akan berdiri kokoh. Begitupula santri baru, tahan pembelajaran bahasa resmi merupakan asas bagi mereka sebagai bekal untuk memahami pelajaran-pelajaran yang ada di kelas selanjutnya. Sebagian besar pelajaran sudah menggunakan bahasa Arab dan Inggris. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa strategi komunikasi dan hambatan-hambatan yang dialami staf LAC dalam pembelajaran bahasa resmi bagi antri baru. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisa hasil penelitian menggunakan teknik analisa data lapangan Miles dan Hubberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi komunikasi staf LAC di PMDG Kampus 2 dalam pembelajaran bahasa resmi bagi santri baru dilakukan melalui pemilihan pengurus asrama santri baru berdasarkan kemampuan bahasa arab dan inggris yang dimiliki, perolehan nilai pada ujian terakhir dan sifat rajin yang dimiliki oleh pengurus asrama. Pemetaan santri baru dilakukan dengan mengelompokkan santri baru berdasarkan latar pendidikan sebelum masuk Gontor 2, pesan yang disampaikan oleh staf LAC melalui pengurus asrama dikemas dalam beberapa kegiatan harian dan mingguan, pemilihan media pembelajaran yang sesuai, dan faktor yang menjadi hambatan adalah adanya sikap acuh tak acuh dari beberapa pengurus asrama terhadap santri yang melanggar disiplin bahasa, dan juga pergaulan santri baru dengan santri lama.

Abstract

The development of new media in recent years has forced the mainstream media industry to transform following the information consumption pattern of people who have switched using new media. Especially radio whose lis- tenership trend is decreasing from year to year. In 2015 radio listenership was only around 14% and continued to decline  to  11%  in  2016.  People  are  currently  chooses  gadgets  as  an  information  media,  the  internet  and  social media are the most important parts of society. Realizing this phenomenon, the mainstream media industry, espe- cially radio stations, synergized with new media. Making radio station applications on gadgets, creating website portals, streaming radio, video streaming and social media accounts, a step or strategy known as media conver- gence. The media convergence strategy is also applied by radio stations in Ponorogo. Almost all radio stations in Ponorogo have implemented media convergence. But to know whether this step is effective to attract the attention of the audience to have an impact on listenership and the rise of the radio media industry needs further research. This study aims to find out how media convergence is applied by radios in Ponorogo and how media convergence helps the development of radio in Ponorogo. By using a qualitative approach, this study analyzes the data previously obtained from field survey activities and interviews about the implementation of radio-radio media conver- gence in Ponorogo then studied with theoretical studies of Communication Science and Media Convergence. The results showed that from 6 private radio stations in Ponorogo, 5 radios have converged media by using almost all forms of new media, but not accompanied by a good level of understanding of what media convergence is so that the convergence step does not reach the desired target. The convergence strategy carried out by radio stations in Ponorogo is carried out only by following existing developments without any standard formulation in its imple- mentation. Keywords: Convergence, New Media, Radio in Ponorogo

Abstract

Indonesia has active social media users of 68.9% or 191.4 out of 277.7 million in 2022. Instagram is the second social media platform, with active users accounting for 84.8% of the population. The use of Instagram is certainly driven by certain motives that encourage people's attitudes and beliefs to access media as needed, and Instagram can provide satisfaction according to the needs of its audience. This study aims to examine the satisfaction of the Mahasantri University of Darussalam Gontor in accessing Instagram by taking 300 samples from 1,997 populations. The data were analysed using descriptive statistics to describe the findings referring to the Expectancy Value theory as a development of the Uses and Gratification theory with two variables, namely gratifications sought (GS) and gratification obtained (GO). Then a gap test was conducted between the mean scores of the GS and GO variables to determine the satisfaction of Darussalam Gontor University students in accessing Instagram social media. The results showed that Instagram could pleasure the Mahasantri University of Darussalam Gontor in building personal relationships, filling free time, getting entertainment, fulfilling knowledge needs, and solving problems. This study answers the phenomenon of using Instagram as the second most accessed social media platform by Indonesian people, especially among teenagers. This finding positively contributes to the University of Darussalam Gontor and educational institutions' management in using Instagram as a medium of socialisation and promotion. Also, as an effort for the government to improve social media literacy for the younger generation through various creative and educational content through Instagram.

Abstract

Pondok Darul Hijrah Martapura uses various social media platforms in conveying various pesantren information to the community. Social media-based publicity activities are one of the applications of cyber public relations pesantren. This study aims to analyze the use of social media as an information medium for Pondok Darul Hijrah in Cyber Public Relations activities referring to Chris Heuer's 4C theory with four indicators of context, communication, collaboration, and connection. The approach used in this research is qualitative with a case study method. Data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis using Miles and Huberman's interactive model. The results showed that in the context indicator, the message was packaged in the form of videos and interesting content containing mahfudzot, pesantren information, student development, student teaching and learning activities. In the communication indicator, information is conveyed through social media platforms Instagram, Youtube and Facebook by providing quick feedback on each follower's questions. Indicator collaboration is carried out by making votes on instastory about student activities, captions recommending likes, comments, and shares, posting student achievements and connection indicators through rapid dissemination of information about pesantren activities by providing information regularly every day. Research provides benefits in the development of communication scientific studies, especially in the application of cyber public relations pesantren.

Abstract

Berdasarkan analisis phlanx.com, Instagram @pondokdarulhijrah memiliki engagement rate sebesar 4.59% dengan jumlah  9.715 followers yang berada pada rentang 5k-20k followers dengan nilai Average 2.43% dinyatakan sangat efektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji seberapa efektif penggunaan Instagram sebagai media informasi pondok modern Darul Hijrah Putra mengacu pada Teori 4C Chris Heuer dengan empat indikator yaitu context, communication, collaboration, dan connection. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan populasi followers Instagram @pondokdarulhijrah sebanyak 9.715 followers. Penentuan sampel menggunakan rumus slovin dengan taraf signifikan 5% menghasilkan sampel sebesar 384 responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan Instagram sebagai media informasi pondok modern Darul Hijrah Putra dinyatakan sangat efektif yang ditunjukkan dengan skor 19.292 yang berada pada rentang interval 18.720 – 23.040 ( Q3-A). Indikator tertinggi dalam efektivitas media sosial ialah indikator context dengan skor grand mean 3.28.  Indikator context berada pada kategori sangat efektif dengan total skor 1.327 atau sebesar 82.52%. Indikator terendah dalam efektivitas media sosial ialah indikator connection dengan skor grand mean 3.13. Indikator connection merupakan efektivitas paling rendah dengan total skor 1.219 atau sebesar 75.81% dikategori sangat efektif. Indikator connection perlu dilakukan evaluasi dikarenakan deskriptor ini memperoleh hasil yang sangat rendah diantara tiga indikator. Agar followers dapat mencari kembali konten informasi-informasi terkait informasi perkembangan pondok harus dilakukan kedekatan yang baik antara public relations pondok modern Darul Hijrah Putra dengan followers di media sosial Instagram. Pada penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi secara teoritis terhadap pengembangan keilmuan dalam kajian media sosial juga memberikan manfaat secara praktis dalam penggunanan instagram sebagai media informasi pesantren khususunya pondok modern Darul Hijrah Putra Martapura.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to examine the communication strategy of the Bimas Islam of Ponorogo Regency in the socialization of Marriage Guidance (BIMWIN) to the community, especially the bride and groom. The location of the research was the Bimas Islam of Ponorogo Regency office and the KUA Sawoo office with the research subjects being the Kasi Bimas Islam, the Head of KUA Sawoo and BIMWIN participants. Collecting data through observation of BIMWIN's socialization activities and in-depth interviews with 3 informants as well as documentation of the implementation of BIMWIN's socialization. The results showed that the communication strategy in BIMWIN socialization carried out by the Bimas Islam of Ponorogo Regency through instructions to the KUA of the district, then KUA conveyed BIMWIN information to the community and persuaded the bride and groom to follow BIMWIN. The obstacle is that there are people who are less concerned about BIMWIN activities due to their low level of understanding of the importance of BIMWIN. This research gives a positive contribution in the study of communication science, especially in developing communication strategies in BIMWIN socialization. Abstract

Government public relations has a very crucial role in maintaining a positive image of the institution, one of which is through media relations strategies. This research aims to determine the Bekasi City Government Public Relations media relations strategy in improving the institution's image referring to media relations strategy theory with three indicators; managing relationships, developing strategies, and developing networks. The research approach used is qualitative with a case study method. Data collection through interviews, observation and documentation. The research results show that Bekasi City Government Public Relations implements a media relations strategy through intensive communication with the media both verbally and non-verbally, carrying out media relations activities such as coffee mornings, press conferences and press releases. In developing the strategy, several efforts have been made, such as creating new concepts, providing the latest information, becoming a valuable resource, and following up on negative news. Meanwhile, at the network development stage, collaboration has been carried out with students, the police, Gojek application providers and the media. This research provides implications for scientific development, especially public relations and has a practical impact in implementing public relations activities through media relations strategies.

Abstract

The phenomenon of water coning in oil and gas wells can lead to an undesired increase in water production, reducing hydrocarbon recovery efficiency. Determining the critical production flow rate is an essential step in controlling water movement into the production zone. This study analyzes the parameters influencing the critical flow rate, including reservoir characteristics, fluid viscosity, and well geometry. The methods employed include mathematical modeling and numerical simulations to identify the optimal production limits without triggering water coning. The results of this study provide guidance for petroleum engineers in managing well production efficiently and minimizing the negative impact of excessive water production.
