Abstract

Nature tourism (ecotourism) is a form of exploitation of natural resources that prioritizes the use of nature for human satisfaction. Indonesia has a very large area and has the potential for regional development if managed properly. Ecotourism is an option that can be used to advance the village by involving the full participation of the local community in every stage, from planning to supervision. Social media is any form of media that is present in a network with users who can interact, exchange ideas, and exchange content or what is often referred to as content. Social media can also be described as a guide to exchange quality information in the form of text, images, videos, and audio with users who use social media. The purpose of this study is to understand the role of the social media platform TikTok in increasing the number of visitors in Kedungudi Sky Park Hill. The theory used in this study is marketing communication, which serves as a guide for how the brand process takes place. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method. By taking data sources by purposive sampling using triangulation data collection techniques. The qualitative approach is a data collection method that produces descriptive data in the form of written or spoken words. Data sources were obtained from sources and other documents in the form of images and photos. The findings of this study show that the use of TikTok social media has succeeded in increasing the number of visitors at Kedungudi Sky Park Hill. By using the right visual content, it can attract the attention of the wider community.

Abstract

Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk membantu Mitrabrand dalam memanfaatkan Instagram sebagai platform strategis untuk meningkatkan kompetensi digital mereka. Dengan pendekatan yang mencakup pelatihan intensif, pendampingan personal, dan evaluasi mendalam, kegiatan ini berfokus pada penggunaan fitur-fitur Instagram seperti Stories, Reels, dan analitik media sosial untuk mendukung strategi pemasaran. Dampak yang dirasakan termasuk peningkatan pemahaman terhadap pemasaran digital, keterampilan menciptakan konten kreatif, dan kemampuan menganalisis data untuk pengambilan keputusan yang lebih baik. Interaksi langsung dengan audiens melalui Instagram juga berhasil memperkuat hubungan antara Mitrabrand dan konsumennya, menciptakan loyalitas merek yang lebih kuat. Artikel ini menggambarkan langkah-langkah implementasi kegiatan, hasil yang dicapai, serta rekomendasi strategis untuk pengembangan kompetensi digital lebih lanjut. Kata Kunci: Instagram, Media Sosial, Kompetensi Digital, Perusahaan, Mitrabrand, Kolaborasi, Pemasaran Digital.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis strategi dan bentuk konten yang digunakan oleh akun Instagram @desa_kemiren dalam membangun citra pariwisata Desa Kemiren. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, penelitian ini mengeksplorasi bagaimana akun tersebut mengkomunikasikan kekayaan budaya dan pesona pariwisata desa kepada khalayak global. Teori yang digunakan sebagai landasan penelitian ini adalah teori New Media oleh Pierre Levy. Data primer diperoleh melalui wawancara dengan Wakil Ketua Kelompok Sadar Wisata (POKDARWIS) dan beberapa followers akun Instagram tersebut, sedangkan data sekunder bersumber dari literatur, media sosial, dan website resmi Desa Kemiren. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa akun Instagram @desa_kemiren berhasil memanfaatkan Instagram sebagai platform untuk mempromosikan keindahan dan kekayaan budaya yang dimilikinya dengan strategi yang telah digunakan sehingga akun Instagram @desa_kemiren telah berhasil mebangun citra pariwisata Desa Kemiren. Bentuk komunikasi melalui konten visual yang menarik, seperti konten yang berisikan adat dan tradisi yaitu, tarian gandrung, kuliner pecel pithik, festival ngopi sepuluh ewu serta yang lainya. Penelitian ini juga memberikan pemahaman yang lebih dalam tentang peran media sosial dalam mempromosikan pariwisata lokal Desa Kemiren dan membangun citra positif sebuah destinasi wisata di Desa Kemiren Banyuwangi.

Abstract

Film is an integral part of mass communication, and in its purpose film itself as a message in conveying and offering more than just sound and meaningful images. Recently, the phenomenon of legalizing marijuana has often been discussed and constructed through the media. One of them is the documentary "Musa" by Alexander Sinaga on the YouTube channel LGN_ID TV. The aim of this research is to find out what the struggle of mothers in the use of marijuana for health means. This research uses John Fiske's semiotic analysis and qualitative methodology in a critical perspective. Based on reality patterns with codes of appearance, costume, expression, body movement, and language to the objectives of the research through the pattern of reality. The results of this study show the facts of the three mothers' struggle in the attempt to use marijuana for treatment in the documentary "Musa".

Abstract

This study aims to identify, explain, and analyze different behaviors towards genders. The short film "Padanan" aims to address and prevent implicit gender bias behaviors portrayed in each scene. The research methodology employed is qualitative, focusing on describing social phenomena through in-depth analysis supported by relevant theories with data collection conducted through documentary studies, particularly the analysis of the short film "Padanan" available on the Instagram account @yasminnrhn. The research findings reveal five types of gender bias actions. Firstly, marginalization, which restricts individuals perceived as weak in social status. Secondly, sexual violence, categorized into three levels: normalization, degrading, and assault. Thirdly, stereotypes, involving gender labeling normalized by society, such as prohibiting women from leading and judging men for showing weakness. Fourthly, double burden, arising from normalized marginalization and stereotypes, resulting in job imbalances between genders. Lastly, subordination, indicating the belief that women's position is lower than men's. Highlights: Types of Gender Bias: Five forms of gender bias identified: marginalization, sexual violence, stereotypes, double burden, and subordination. Film Focus: "Padanan" illustrates and aims to prevent implicit gender bias through its scenes. Methodology: Qualitative approach using documentary studies and analysis of the film on Instagram. Abstract

The problems experienced by PANCASONA the Small and Medium Business Enterprises (UMKM) are generally in the marketing and branding process. If we are examine further, the first one special problems in Pancasona UMKM there are limitations in product marketing due to a lack of understanding of digital marketing. profitable in promoting products effectively due to the lack of strong branding. Based on the problems were observed regarding the products in Pancasona UMKM. Then carry out an analysis of the potential of the small and Medium business enteeprises in Pancasona (UMKM) and determine a several activity programs it will be implemented on The Small and Medium Business enterprises PANCASONA UMKM , by carrying out companion and innovation programs for Pancasona UMKM to optimize the business potential of the, the small and medium program "PANCASONA" Independent and Empowered by The aim is empower the Small and Medium Business Enterprises (UMKM) in the region to be more independent and empowered. Some of the priority programs will be carried it out are creating banner designs, creating product knowledge and designing digital marketing via social media (Instagram).

Abstract

One of the activities that is a superior program in the Enlightenment Real Work Lecture (KKN-P) is optimizing the tourism potential of Rabbit Park in Dawuhansengon Village, Pasuruan Regency. The main problems faced are the lack of care for rabbit parks and lack of accessibility, so many people do not know about their existence. This research was conducted using the community service method through the Enlightenment Real Work Lecture (KKN-P) program conducted by students at Muhammadiyah University of Sidoarjo. The methods used include group debriefing, field surveys, preparation of work programs, and implementation of work programs. Actions taken include cleaning the park, making fences, signposts, road signs and repainting. The results of this program show that the improvements made by KKN-P students have had a positive impact on the condition of Rabbit Park and increased public interest in visiting the place. The village and local government need to provide support in optimizing the tourism sector in Dawuhansengon Village by improving access and marketing of Rabbit Park as well as organizing various tourism events that can attract tourist interest. Abstract

Objective: This study aims to revitalize public spaces and strengthen early childhood education through a visual communication approach in Kalisampurno Village, Tanggulangin District, Sidoarjo Regency. The activity focused on utilizing Kalisampurno Dam Park as a multifunctional public space that can accommodate social interaction, education, and strengthen the village's visual identity. Method: The community-based participatory approach was used, with an implementation strategy in the form of project-based learning. This activity involved 39 Communication Science students from Muhammadiyah University of Sidoarjo who were divided into three divisions: quote boards, education, and games. The data collection process was carried out through participatory observation, informal interviews, and visual documentation, then analyzed descriptively qualitatively. Results: The results of the program showed that the revitalization of public spaces through aesthetic elements (quote boards, garden decorations, welcoming monuments) successfully strengthened the park's image as an educational and tourist destination. The "Learning While Playing" program also succeeded in involving local PAUD institutions in culturally based outdoor educational activities. These findings indicate that locally based visual communication can be an effective tool in supporting character education and cultural preservation. Novelty: This program's novelty lies in the integration of public art, early childhood education, and cross-community collaboration in a single model of sustainable service.

Abstract

General Background: Cyberbullying has become a prevalent issue in the digital era, facilitated by the rapid spread of information through social media. Specific Background: The Indonesian film Budi Pekerti portrays this phenomenon through its narrative, with the trailer highlighting scenes that depict public judgment and online harassment. Knowledge Gap: While prior studies have explored cyberbullying representation in films and social campaigns, limited research has examined how meaning construction emerges from cinematic trailers using semiotic analysis. Aims: This study investigates how visual, textual, and auditory signifiers in the Budi Pekerti trailer represent cyberbullying (signified) and construct meaning that shapes audience perspectives. Results: Using Ferdinand de Saussure’s semiotic theory and a descriptive qualitative method, the analysis reveals that incomplete video clips in the trailer function as signifiers, prompting varied audience interpretations that often align with negative judgments toward the protagonist, Mother Prani. Novelty: This study demonstrates how a film trailer, as a condensed narrative, can serve as a powerful medium for constructing and circulating meanings about social issues, particularly cyberbullying. Implications: Findings highlight the role of media framing in influencing public opinion, underscoring the importance of critical media literacy to prevent misinterpretation and online harassment.
