Abstract

This study aims to describe the Implementation of Permendikbud No. 20 Article 8 Paragraph 4 in 2018 at SD Muhammadiyah 10 Balengbendo. The type of research below is a qualitative descriptive study. The subject of the study were the elementary school teacher Muhammadiyah 10 Balongbendo. This research was conducted in April 2019. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation. The technique of checking the validity of the data is the source triangulation.The results showed that the implementation of Permendikbud No. 20 Article 8 Paragraph 4 in 2018 at SD Muhammadiyah 10 Balengbendo related duties and responsibilities that act as Educator, protective, facilitators and catalysts are as follows: (1) its role as a connecting learning resources teachers have done their responsibilities in carrying out the learning process. (2) In their role as protectors of all teachers at SD Muhammadiyah 10 Balengbendo, they always provide supervision to all their students, which are carried out from the beginning to the end of coming home with the aim of filtering out positive or negative things that students will receive. (3) its role as facilitator the teacher always opens space for students to establish an intimacy so that they feel close to us. (4) its role as a teacher catalyst helps students explore and optimize the potential possessed by each students to be directed in all activities that exist in school and outside of school. “

Abstract

The management of character education strengthening is a leadership effort in planning, organizing, monitoring and evaluating student’s strengthening character, specifically during the pandemic Covid-19. The purpose of this thesis to analyze educational planning, organization, implementation and give an evaluation of the students strengthening character education during pandemic Covid-19 at Creative School of Muhammadiyah 2 elementary school 2 tulangan sidoarjo. This research used qualitative approaches with the subjects of the research are taken from the Principal, Vice-Principals, extracurricular teachers, Qur’an teachers, teachers, and Parents. This research was taken at Creative School of Muhamadiyah 2 Elementary School Tulangan Sidoarjo. Data collection techniques used in this research was interviews and observations. The data analysis technique in this research include data, reduction, data presentation and conclusion or verification. The result of this research indicate that: (1) The management planning of character education strengthening for students during the Pandemic Covid-19 at the Creative School of Muhammadiyah 2 Tulangan has implemented all the stages include planning and strategy, program socialization, administration and the learning media. (2) Organizing the students character of education strengthening during the pandemic Covid-19 at the Creative School of Muhammadiyah 2 Tulangan has been implemented by all of the stake holder to grow and achieve good habit easily. (3) The implementation of students character during the pandemic Covid-19 at the Creative School of Muhammadiyah 2 elementary school Tulangan Sidoarjo can be run quite well and effectively which is divided into 4 activities, those are: daily activities, spontaneous activities, programmed activities and exemplary activities. (4) The supervisions of students character strengthening during the pandemic Covid-19 at the Creative School of Muhammadiyah 2 elementary school Tulangan Sidoarjo has been implemented by the Principal and all of the stake holders to find out how the students character strengthening has been applied. (5) Monitoring and evaluation the management of students character education during the pandemic Covid-19 at the Creative School of Muhammadiyah 2 elementary school Tulangan Sidoarjo performed by the Principal, Vice Principal to communicate the students progress to the parents. (6) Students character during the pandemic Coid-19 at the Creative School of Muhammadiyah 2 elementary school Tulangan Sidoarjo, specially the religious character has become habit among the students On the other side, most of the good character of students have been lost and decreased

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of scout extracurricular activities and to describe the strengthening of independent character in scouting activities. This study uses qualitative research methods that produce descriptive data in the form of written or spoken words from people and behaviors experienced by researchers. The subjects of this study were 4 grade VI students and grade VI scout coaches. in the field. The value of the Persami activity is that students are able to participate in these activities with enthusiasm and enthusiasm. The second is on the value of not depending on others, the value of being able to understand the material and complete assignments without bothering others, the value of confidence in completing assignments, students are also capable and finally the value of ability in making decisions students are also capable of this. Highlights: Active Participation: Scout activities foster enthusiasm and engagement among students, encouraging their active involvement in the extracurricular program. Development of Self-Reliance: Through assignments and tasks, students cultivate a sense of self-reliance, enhancing their ability to comprehend and complete tasks independently. Confidence and Decision-making: Participation in scouting builds students' confidence in task completion and decision-making skills, promoting their overall competence. Abstract

This study aimed to improve the speaking skills of children by utilizing Pop-Up book media, preceded by developing their listening skills. Conducted at Dharma Wanita Persatuan Pucang Kindergarten, the research employed Classroom Action Research methodology. The pre-cycle results revealed a 51.4% average score for children's speaking ability. However, after implementing the Pop-Up book media in the first cycle, the percentage increased significantly to 68.5%, showing a 12.9% improvement from the maximum score. The researcher continued to apply action in cycle II, leading to a remarkable rise in the average score to 85.3%, signifying an overall enhancement of 28.9% from cycles I and II. The results demonstrate that employing Pop-Up book media effectively enhances children's speaking skills, carrying implications for language skill development in early childhood education. Highlights: The use of Pop-Up book media: The study focuses on utilizing Pop-Up book media to enhance children's speaking skills, providing an engaging and interactive learning approach. Classroom Action Research: The research methodology employed is Classroom Action Research, enabling a systematic investigation of the effectiveness of the intervention. Language development in early childhood: The study highlights the importance of language skill development during early childhood education, emphasizing its implications for lifelong language proficiency. Abstract

This study investigates the impact of providing star board rewards on the learning motivation of children aged 4-5 years in Kindergarten Aisyiyah 09 Kranji Lamongan. Using a quantitative experimental approach with a typo one group pretest-posttest research design, the research was conducted in an experimental class comprising 13 students. A motivational questionnaire with 16 questions was used as the assessment instrument, and data collection occurred through pretest and posttest evaluations. The data were analyzed using paired sample t-test, revealing a significant increase in the average value of children's learning motivation by 35.1% from the pretest value to 44.1% in the posttest. Consequently, the findings indicate that giving star board rewards positively influences children's learning motivation (p < 0.05). The implications of this research contribute to our understanding of effective teaching strategies and provide valuable insights for educators and policymakers seeking to enhance children's learning motivation in early education settings. Highlight: The study examines the impact of star board rewards on learning motivation in young children. A quantitative experiment with a typo one group pretest-posttest design was used for data collection.
