Abstract

KDRT (domestic violence) must be ended. Both wife andhusband come to a conclusion to finish it. However, itdoesn't mean that the role of a husband, as disciplineupholder, has to be denied. Islam does not agree with it.As an Imam (leader), a husband must maintain moralvalues to establish a peaceful and perfect harmoniousfamily. UU. No 23 Th. 2004 implicitly states that domesticviolence is any violence types occurring in a family. Ahusband has been a person who always be blamed on inthis case. This article analyzes a kind of violencecommitted by a husband against the family members---children and wife from the perspective of Fiqh (Islamiclaw)

Abstract

Vocabulary is crucial element in mastering a foreign language. knowing limited numbers of vocabulary will barry the students to communicate well in the traget language (English). As consequency, it takes some strategies to master it. The students get difficulity to master some kinds of vocabulary such as phrasal verb, idiom, slang and colloquial. Those matter makes them implement different learning Strategies to master. They are memory strategies, cognitive strategies, metacognitive strategies and compensation strategies. The most fasilitated strategies for learning and mastering vocabulary is through combining those various strategies

Abstract

 AbstractPurpose of this study was to determine and analyze the effect of job description, work specification and work environment on employee productivity at the Surabaya City Audio Visual Information and Production Center. To find out and analyze job describtions on employee productivity at the Surabaya City Audio Visual Information and Production Center. To find out and analyze work standards on employee productivity at the Surabaya City Audio Visual Information and Production Center. To find out and analyze the work environment on employee productivity at the Surabaya City Audio Visual Information and Production Center. This type of research uses Explanatory Reaserch. This research was conducted at the Surabaya City Audio Visual Information and Production Center which is located at Jl. Gayungan Kebonsari no-50, Surabaya, East Java. The population in this study were employees of the Surabaya City Audio Visual Information and Production Center as many as 40 people. The results of this study indicate that the job describtion, job specifications, work standards and work environment simultaneously have a significant effect on employee productivity. Keywords: Job description, Job Specification, Work Standards and Work Environment

Abstract

The majority of religious instructors at the Office of Religious Affairs (KUA) in Pamekasan Regency do not have competence in measuring qibla direction. This community service activity aims to improve the competence of religious instructors in measuring qibla direction, especially through a simple method using the shadow of the sun. Through a series of activities that included the provision of theoretical and practical materials, both indoors and outdoors, the counselors were trained to use basic tools such as tripods, arc rulers, and threads with weights. This activity also involved independent practice by each delegate of the Religious Affairs Office (KUA), the results of which were presented and evaluated by the PkM team. As a result, 85% of the participants were able to master the stages of measuring qibla direction well, and there are now trained measurers at the sub-district level. In addition, a strong partnership was established between the campus and the KUA that supports the improvement of religious services for the community. This PkM activity is expected to not only improve the competence of extension workers, but also encourage data collection and measurement of qibla direction regularly at the sub-district level.

Abstract

There are two problems that are the main study in this research, first, is there an influence of the leadership of the Ma'hadiyah Council on improving the performance of dormitory supervisors. Second, how much influence does the leadership of the Ma'hadiyah Council have on improving the performance of dormitory supervisors? The population of this research is students at the Mambaul Ulum Bata Bata Pamekasan Islamic Boarding School. The results of the research after data analysis show that the r value of work is 0.751 which is greater than the r value of the product moment table. Where at db=28, both at the 5% significance level, the value is 0.374 and at the 1% significance level, the value is 0.478. Thus the value of r work is greater than the r table of product moment at both the 5% significance level and the 1% significance level so that the hypothesis proposed, namely the work hypothesis (Ha) is accepted while the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected. The leadership of the Ma'hadiyah Council has a big influence on improving the performance of the Girls' Dormitory Supervisors at the Mambaul Ulum Islamic Boarding School Bata-Bata Panaan Palengaan Pamekasan. This is based on the results of data analysis after consulting with the r value interpretation table which states that the work r value is 0.751 in the range of 0.600 to 0.600. 0.800 with high interpretation.

Abstract

Reposition of wrongly-established qibla direction typically brings into controversy, particularly among takmir as the mosque officiants. However, what occured in Pamekasan shows different trends. This research therefore focuses on how the Pamekasan based takmir responded on the qibla direction reposition issue. It is a descriptive one based on qualitative data. The data was collected using interview to the takmir and participatory observation at the research locus. The obtained data was then sorted and systematically arranged for verification to draw a conclusion. The research comes to a conclusion that; first, the deviation of qibla direction on the research locus was caused by wrongly-determined direction in the initial mosque building process due to the ignorance of Islamic astronomy or so called ilmu falaq theories. The mistake was figured out trough verification on the sun image and qiblat direction application. Second; the reposition was initiated by takmir who firstly consulted with experts on Islamic law and falaq, made scientific investigation by rechecking the mosque qibla direction using advanced technology, then announced the process result to the mosque congregation, and made a deliberation forum before doing the reposition replacing the older with the more accurate and newer one. Third; takmirs’ perception on the mosque qibla reposition tends to be supporting rather than opposing.
