Abstract

The problems in this research are teachers' obstacles in creating concrete learning media, the problem-based learning model is less effective, and student learning outcomes are low in Environmental Science subjects. This research aims to: develop a design; test validity; and test the effectiveness of smart box learning media based on Problem Based Learning. The research method is a research and development method with a model developed by Sugiyono. The subjects in the research were media and material expert validators, students, and class V teachers at SD Negeri Wonosari 01. Data collection techniques were observation activities, interviews, document data analysis, questionnaires, validation sheets, and tests. The research results showed that the design of smart box learning media based on Problem Based Learning pays attention to the needs of teachers and students in learning activities; product validity obtained a percentage of 87.5% from media expert validators with very valid criteria and 88.75% from expert validators material with very valid criteria; and product effectiveness using the paired sample t-test, namely the calculated t result is 10.69 and the significance value is 0.00 so that there is a difference in the average pretest and posttest scores. The N-Gain test result was 0.54 with moderate criteria so that there was an increase in the average pretest and posttest scores.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low learning outcomes of students in science subjects of human digestive system material due to the lack of TPACK-based learning media innovations that make it easier for students to learn the material so that students feel bored with the media they have been using. The purpose of this study is to develop, test the feasibility, and test the effectiveness of Augmented Reality Book (AR-Book) media in improving learning outcomes in human digestive system material of grade V students of SDN Kalibanteng Kidul 01. This research uses the Research and Development method with the ADDIE development model. The instruments used are questionnaires and test questions. Product validity tests are carried out by material and media experts. The results of this research are: AR-Book development design as a learning medium; media notability of AR-Books by 90% media experts and 92% of materials rated "very valid"; teacher and student responses to AR-Book were "very interesting" with a percentage of teachers 92% and students 93.7%; The effectiveness of the media from the t test results showed a GIS (2-tailed) value of 0.000 < 0.05 which means there is a significant difference from the average results before treatment and after treatment and the N-Gain test which shows a value of 0.71 which means there is a significant increase in the high category. Thus, it can be concluded that the AR-Book media is very valid, very interesting, and effective for improving the learning outcomes of grade V elementary school students.

Abstract

One of the most important elements in educational activities is the learning media. But in practice, only a few teachers are able to take advantage of the learning media that exist today, this has an impact on student learning outcomes. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to develop domino cards as a learning media teaching science in elementary schools. This research uses the Research and Development method with the model used. namely Borg and Gall. This study involved teachers and 20 students in grade V of SD Negeri Patemon 02. Domino learning media was designed to meet the needs of teachers and students through documentation, interviews, observations, and questionnaires. The study results show the percentage of level of eligibility of domino card media by material and media experts with a percentage of 95% and 93% respectively with very feasible criteria. The pretest and posttest results show that domino card learning media improves student learning outcomes, with an n-gain value of 0.55 and moderate criteria. This shows that domino card learning media is effective for improving student learning outcomes science learning outcomes in learning grade V students of SD Negeri Patemon 02 human respiratory system material.

Abstract

This R&D research refers to the Borg and Gall model which aims to develop and test the feasibility and effectiveness of an E-Book in the form of an interactive flipbook based on Problem Based Learning. The population in the study consisted of 5 small-scale test subjects from class VB and 20 large-scale test subjects from class VA. Data collection techniques use test and non-test techniques in the form of observation, questionnaires, interviews and document data. Validation results by material and media experts show that the product meets the very valid criteria with percentages of 90.23% and 92.17%. Based on the test results, it is known that the product developed is effective in improving student learning outcomes as shown by the average increase of 53 to 81 and the N-Gain test results obtained a gain value of 0.61 (medium). Based on the results of the questionnaire, the responses distributed were very positive from teachers and students. From these results, it is concluded that the E-Book in the form of an interactive flipbook based on PBL is effective for improving science and science learning outcomes and is suitable for use in the learning of class V students at SDN 2 Banjaran.

Abstract

The lack of use of learning tools in science and science lesson content regarding the respiratory system in class V elementary school makes students quickly feel bored. This results in students not understanding what has been conveyed by the teacher. This investigation aims to develop augmented reality learning media for science and science lesson content on the respiratory system for class V elementary schools. This type of research is Research and Development (R&D) which refers to the Borg and Gall theory with ten stages. The data collection techniques used in this research were observation, question and answer, and questionnaires. Based on the data analysis carried out, the following results were obtained. The results of the material expert validation test were 81.60% which was included in the very feasible group; The results of the media expert validation test were 96.60% which was included in the very feasible group. Apart from that, scores were obtained before and after the use of the learning media developed. As seen from the results of these values, the media developed is declared effective if used as a learning tool in the science and science learning content regarding the respiratory system. So, it can be concluded that the tools developed are suitable and effective for use in the learning process.

Abstract

Problems in Grade IV of the Kartika Cluster State Elementary School, Blora Regency, show that science learning outcomes are still low. Based on interviews with teachers, it is hypothesized that factors that affect learning outcomes include Parenting and Learning Independence. The objectives of this study are: to examine the relationship between Learning Independence and science learning outcomes; to examine the relationship between Parenting Styles and science learning outcomes; to examine the relationship between Learning Independence and Parenting Patterns on students' science learning outcomes. This study uses a quantitative method with a type of correlation research. The results of the study showed: there was a positive and significant relationship between Parenting and Science learning outcomes with a contribution of 71.50%; there is a positive and significant relationship between Learning Independence and Science learning outcomes with a contribution of 70.80%; there was a positive and significant relationship between Parenting and Learning Independence together on students' science learning outcomes with a contribution of 73.10%. The conclusion in this study is that there is a positive and significant relationship between Parenting and Learning Independence on the learning outcomes of science students in Grade IV of the Kartika Cluster State Elementary School, Blora Regency. The suggestion in this study is that students are expected to be able to optimize the existing Learning Independence and Parental Parenting Patterns to improve learning outcomes.
