Abstract

Street Andi Pangeran Pettarani is one of the protocol roads in Makassar City and is located in a strategic area. Residential buildings along the Andi Pangeran Pettarani axis road have now turned into commercial buildings such as culinary or restaurant buildings, shops, hotels, offices, non-formal formal educational institutions, and even health services such as clinics and hospitals. The owner of the building builds in the border area of the building for these commercial activities. This then causes the unavailability of parking space for vehicles. Visitors who have vehicles will use sidewalks, road shoulders and even part of the road as a parking lot so that pedestrian paths in the form of sidewalks become unsafe and comfortable. The study was conducted on the sidewalk along the corridor of Andi Pangeran Pettarani, Panakkukang District, Makassar City. The 4 kilometer long axis road is divided into 6 segments for easy observation. This study aims to evaluate the utilization and availability of sidewalk support facilities and the level of pedestrian satisfaction with the sidewalks along the Andi Pangeran Pettarani road corridor. The method used is descriptive analysis method to describe the results of observations of the use and availability of sidewalk supporting facilities; IPA (Importance Performance Analysis) analysis to determine the level of performance and importance of each supporting facility in order to prepare recommendations for the direction of the pedestrian path improvement plan.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the solid waste system in Rantepao District is, how much household waste is produced in Rantepao District, and how is an environmentally friendly integrated waste management strategy through waste infrastructure planning in Rantepao District. A sample of 100 respondents' families in each Kelurahan and Lembang in Rantepao District, North Toraja Regency. The data was collected through field research by taking samples and interviews with respondents as well as library research. Data were analyzed using a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods. The results showed that: 1) The solid waste system in Rantepao Subdistrict did not meet the criteria set by government regulations and the National Standardization Body. It is known that this settlement does not have a TPS and must dispose of its waste to Enrekang Regency so that facilities such as garbage carts also need to be added. The condition of the trash containers/bins in the houses of the dominant residents is not in good condition. And the dominant community throws their household waste directly into public places such as rivers and markets. 2) The composition of waste consists of 58% organic waste, while 42% of non-organic waste. It is known that the total average weight of household waste generated for a day in Rantepao District is 11,441.76 Kg/day or 0.48 Kg/person/day and the volume is 125,144.25 Liters/day or 5.25 Liters/person. /day. 3) It takes 98 manual transport carts with a standard length of 160 cm x width 80 cm x height 100 cm or 1,280 liters to support the waste management strategy by collecting waste from the source at least once a day. Procurement of two TPS 3R model 2 in vacant land locations in Rantepao and Lembang Limbong Villages as a planning recommendation as shown in Figures 5.4.1 and 5.4.2. The recommendations from this research are 1) One way that can be done to improve the solid waste system in Rantepao District is the distribution of proper trash cans in each resident's house, by separating organic and non-organic waste from the source. 2) It is necessary to educate the community about 3R waste processing (reduce, reuse, and recycle) and carry out mutual cooperation activities to clean markets and rivers. 3) The provision of facilities and infrastructure as well as the implementation of 3R TPS must be supported by the local government to reduce river pollution by household waste generated by the people of Rantepao District.

Abstract

In urban areas, apartments are one of the residential solutions for residents given that the availability of land in urban areas is minimal. Vida View Apartment is one of the apartments in Makassar City. This study seeks to analyze the function-worthy aspects of buildings that have pocketed the Function-worthy Certificate issued by the Makassar City Spatial Planning Service in 2018, namely the Vida View Apartment. By conducting this research, it is expected to be able to find out the characteristics of the occupants and the level of satisfaction of the residents based on the technical study of livability at the Vida View Makassar Apartment. The data used came from 252 respondents who lived in the Vida View Apartment. The method used is observation, questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The analysis was carried out with descriptive quantitative and descriptive qualitative and IPA (Importance-Performance Analysis) analysis. The results showed that 1) The characteristics of the residents of the apartment were 58% male, 60% residents aged around 15-30 years, and 78% of residents were natives of Makassar City. In addition, 61% of the dwellings are private residences, and 50% of the residents have occupied them for 1-3 years. 2) Based on the results of the IPA analysis, it is known that the occupancy comfort variable is divided into two categories, namely maintaining achievement and low priority so that there is a need for maximum improvement. The convenience variable in general has been implemented in accordance with expectations and the implementation of appropriate performance, but there are indicators of low priority. The safety variable shows that it needs to be handled and becomes a top priority to increase safety from pollution for apartment residents. In health variables, some indicators have met expectations, but there is one indicator that becomes a top priority, namely air conditioning, so handling is needed, while the orientation indicator to the sun is included in the low priority category.
