Abstract

A social service was held on Go-Jek Community Medan and Go-Jek Brother Community Medan Basis Sekata. Based on the initial survey, the partner's problem is lack of knowledge so partners need knowledge through assertive communication by looking for agents. The agents were responsible in doing a safety driving campaign act which they had fulfilled the integrity facts previously. For the problem experienced by the partners, the early phase was held through the socialization of safety driving signpost framing in two partners, continued by choosing the agent who would campaign safety driving. The chosen agent would share the stickers and safety driving modules to Go-Jek Community. The agent was expected to do the socialization by spreading the stickers and modules to Go-Jek Community. This activity would be evaluated by the agent and the report was taken after 3 months of the social service of USU. The result of this social service described the concern to Go-Jek drivers’ safety, and it got the positive respond from each Go-Jek Community. On the evaluation phase, this social service was successfully done and it successfully increased the knowledge, as well as changed the behavior of Go-Jek driver’s safety in riding their bikes

Abstract

Community empowerment is the one of efforts that undertaken as part of the health promotion which aimed to improve public health. In general, one of the phenomena of society which are expected to consume vegetables and fruits in balance quantity and quality. Consumption of vegetables and fruits also become the second destination health measures of GERMAS (Gerakan Masyarakat Sehat). Karo is an area that is synonymous with the world of agriculture and many farming communities are vulnerable to disease because of exposure to the working environment, either physical or chemical. The farming community is also almost no health care and more oriented to produce in optimum. In addition, there are many groups that still non-productive and can be developed, one group of wives of farmers. The solution given in service activities to produce the healthy food like a salad of vegetables and fruits with antioxidant power, antisianin and other nutrients that protect and maintain the farmer’s health from several symptoms of illness due to consumption patterns and patterns of work at risk. Devotion done by brainstorming methods, training and demonstration of manufacture of the product with the target groups of farmers wife. Outcomes targeted is a food product healthy namely Salad Pelangi as food is beneficial to balance the body, nourish and protect the health of the body as well as foods that have anti venom and avoid hypertension, heart disease, diabetes, cancer and chemical effects of occupational risks as farmers. Other outcomes in the form of a scientific article and video activities. The content of Salad Pelangi are choosen from the fruits and vegetable that has the rainbow colour such as tomato, carrot, orange, avocado, jelly, yam, and purple cabbage. All of these has the antioxidant function that could be reduce the pesticide toxicity.

Abstract

Non-communicable diseases (NCDs) are one of the main priorities in the world of health. As the world population soars, deaths from NCDs will increase every year. Globally, there are 41 million cases or the equivalent of 74% of deaths caused by NCDs every year. This research is a type of quantitative research with a cross-sectional type of research conducted on a group of fisherman in Paluh Sibaji Village. This research was carried out on September 21 2023. The population in this research was all fisherman in Paluh Sibaji Village, totaling 200 hundred fisherman. The sampling method used in this research was convenience sampling with a total of 60 fisherman respondents. This study aims to analyze the factors that influence fisherman's blood pressure on the incidence of hypertension (HTN). This research uses multiple linear regression analysis and application analysis using the Statistical Program for Social Sciences tools. The significance value of the consumption pattern, knowledge and attitude variables is below p<0.05, so it can be concluded that consumption pattern, knowledge and attitude influence the incidence of HTN among fisherman in Paluh Sibaji village. This study revealed that the majority of respondents, especially those belonging to the risk group, had experienced HTN. Age at risk was found to have a 2.26% higher likelihood of developing HTN. A large number of respondents showed poor consumption patterns, good knowledge, negative attitudes, and poor behavior regarding HTN prevention. These findings underscore the importance of targeted interventions and awareness campaigns to address these factors and reduce the risk of HTN in the studied population. It is recommended that further research discuss more broadly the factors that can influence the increase in blood pressure in fisherman and conduct a detailed food recall to assess the impact of consumption on HTN. Keywords: Attitude, Consumption pattern , Fisherman, HTN,  Knowledge

Abstract

Beberapa Rumah Sakit Umum (RSU) di Medan masih ada yang belum memenuhi standar Key Performance Indicator (KPI) IGD, salah satunya adalah RSU Herna Medan. Dibutuhkan sistem penilaian kinerja perawat gawat darurat yang disusun berdasarkan kompetensi, agar mampu memberikan kinerja yang baik. Penelitian deskriptif kualitatif menggunakan studi dokumen dan Focus Group Discussion (FGD). Bertujuan merancang sistem penilaian kinerja berbasis kompetensi perawat gawat darurat di RSU Herna Medan. 8 orang partisipan terpilih untuk mengikuti FGD tanggal 11 Mei 2015.  Analisis isi digunakan untuk data dokumen dan analisis tematik untuk data FGD. Hasil analisa data dokumen, tidak tercantum tujuan penilaian kinerja, penilaian kinerja disusun berdasarkan Task-focused Performance Dimension, cara penilaian dan hasilnya tidak diberitahukan pada perawat yang dinilai. Hasil analisa data FGD, kompetensi perawat gawat darurat di RSU Herna Medan adalah dampak dan pengaruh, mengembangkan orang lain, empati, percaya diri, pengendalian diri, komitmen terhadap organisasi, keahlian teknikal, berorientasi kepada pelanggan, kerja sama kelompok, berfikir analitis, berfikir konseptual, inisiatif, fleksibilitas, kemampuan mengarahkan perintah dan semangat untuk berprestasi. Disarankan pihak manajemen agar menggunakan lembar penilaian kinerja yang telah disusun minimal satu kali dalam 6 bulan.Kata Kunci: Penilaian Kinerja, Kompetensi, Perawat Gawat Darurat
