Abstract

Kearifan lokal merupakan komponen terpenting dalam kebudayaan  termasuk halnya dalam pengelolaan Repong Damar yang terdapat di Pekon Pahmungan, Kecamatan Pesisir Tengah, Kabupaten Pesisir Barat, Provinsi Lampung. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kearifan lokal pengelolaan Repong Damar di Pekon Pahmungan. Penelitian dilakukan dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Penelitian ini menghasilkan temuan bahwa kearifan lokal dalam pengelolaan Repong Damar di Pekon Pahmungan sebagai berikut. Nilai-nilai adat pewarisan Repong Damar kepada anak tertua laki-laki.  Hal ini dikarenakan anak tertua laki-laki dianggap mempunyai tanggung jawab penuh untuk keluarganya. Dalam pembukaan lahan harus mengikuti proses pengelolaan Repong Damar melalui tiga fase, yaitu fase darak, yaitu pembukaan lahan; fase kebun, yakni penanaman bibit pohon produktif (damar, duku, durian, jengkol); fase repong, yakni proses terakhir dalam pembukaan lahan yang sudah berbentuk kebun yang menyerupai hutan alami yang ditumbuhi berbagai tanaman produktif baik kayu, damar, duku, jengkol yang harus menunggu usia pohon damar berumur di atas 15 tahun untuk siap disadap. Apabila tidak mengikuti ketiga fase tersebut maka akan menyebabkan bala bencana (kualat) seperti hasil getah damar menyusut dan tidak menghasilkan getah damar unggul (damar mata kucing). Selain itu terdapat hukum adat yang mengatur kegiatan pengelolaan petani Repong Damar bahwa penebangan pohon damar harus sesuai dengan ketentuan umur pohon yakni usia pohon damar di atas 15 tahun, apabila tidak mematuhi maka akan diberikan sanksi berupa penanaman bibit pohon damar kembali di lahan yang sama. Berdasarkan realita di lapangan berbagai hal yang dilakukan petani merupakan tradisi leluhur yang diwariskan antargenerasi.   Local wisdom is the most critical component in culture, including the management of Repong Damar. This study aims to find out the local wisdom in managing Repong Damar in Pekon Pahmungan. Data collection techniques use qualitative description. This study concluded that local wisdom in the management of Repong Damar in Pekon pahmungan as follow. Traditional values of inheritance of Repong Damar to the eldest son. This is because the eldest son is considered entirely responsible for his family. Inland clearing must follow the management process of Repong Damar through three phases, namely darak phase, namely land clearing; kebun phase, planting productive tree seedlings namely (resin, duku, durian, jengkol); repong phase is the last process in land clearing that has been in the form of a garden that resembles a natural forest that is overgrown with various productive plants both wood, resin, Duku, jengkol who have to wait for the age of resin trees over 15 years to be ready to be tapped, if they do not follow the three phases it will cause disaster (kualat) such as the results of resin shrinking and not produce superior resin sap (cat's eye damar). In addition, there is a customary law that regulates the management activities of Repong Damar farmers that the felling of damar trees must comply with the provisions of the age of the tree, namely the age of the damar tree is above 15 years, if it does not comply, it will be given a sanction in the form of planting damar tree seedlings again on the same land. Based on the reality, the actions taken by Repong Damar farmers are a form of the traditional auction because the management of Repong Damar has become a tradition that is carried out from generation to generation from the ancestors.

Abstract

 This study aims to identify the problems of children healthy areas in the context of the fulfillment of child rights related to the implementation of State program Eligible Children in Gading Cempaka subdistrict, Bengkulu City. The two areas that focused on this research are the Cempaka Permai Village and the Lingkar Barat Village. The results of the study showed that problems were found which involved the fulfillment of facilities such as the ASI corner area. Then the discussion about sexuality is still taboo to discuss so that sexual reproductive health education is still not widely taught at the family level. No smoking areas in the two regions are not yet available as well as the problem of the existence of inadequate environmental sanitation.Keywords: Problem of Children, Rights on child health, Children Friendly City Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi permasalahan anak dalam rangka pemenuhan hak anak di bidang kesehatan dan kesejahteraan dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Identifikasi ini berkaitan dengan adanya implementasi program Kota Layak Anak di Kecamatan Gading Cempaka, Kota Bengkulu. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkab bahwa ditemukan persoalan yang menyangkut belum terpenuhinya sarana seperti area pojok ASI.  Kemudian perbincangan mengenai seksualitas masih tabu untuk dibicarakan sehingga pendidikan kesehatan reproduksi seksual masih belum banyak diajarkan di level keluarga. Kawasan bebas rokok di kedua kelurahan tersebut belum tersedia serta persoalan keberadaan sanitasi lingkungan yang belum memadai.Kata Kunci : Permasalahan Anak, Hak Kesehatan pada Anak, Kota Layak Anak

Abstract

Latar belakang: Desa merupakan kawasan srategis yang memiliki potensi yang besar. Serta memiliki peranan dalam mendukung pembangunan. Salah satunya dapat diamati dari penyelenggaraan Badan Usaha Milik Desa (Bumdes) yang merupakan institusi yang diharapkan mampu mengoptimalkan berbagai usaha unggulan yang dimiliki oleh desa agar desa dapat menjadi desa yang mandiri dan berdaya guna bagi masyarakat. Salah satunya adalah Desa Kungkai Baru yang terletak di Kecamatan Air Periukan, Seluma. Kawasan ini secara mandiri telah memiliki usaha yang terbentuk dalam kelompok usaha kecil yang tengah dikembangkan, khususnya dalam pengolahan pangan yang berasal dari sumberdaya laut. Disamping itu, desa ini tengah berupaya mengembangkan wisata bahari menuju desa yang mandiri. Langkah dan penguatan kapasitas pengetahuan terkait hal tersebut menjadi aspek yang penting untuk dimiliki oleh kelompok usaha, perangkat desa serta masyarakat . Oleh karenanya, diperlukan pengetahuan sekaligus wawasan mengenai desa mandiri serta upaya membangun jiwa entepreneurship dari kelompok usaha yang telah dirintis sehingga dapat memiliki inovasi dan tata kelola yang lebih baik. Metode: Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dilangsungkan dengan menggunakan metode penyuluhan interaktif dan diskusi secara aktif. Hasil: Dengan adanya kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat memberikan pengetahuan, wawasan serta penguatan kapasitas diri dalam rangka mengoptimalkan produktivitas usaha unggulan yang dimiliki oleh Desa Kungkai Baru.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has provided various changes in all areas of life. Therefore, support is needed from various parties in efforts to prevent and spread Covid-19. One of them is through the Kuliah Kerja Nyata program organized by university and carried out independently by students in their respective neighborhoods. As an intra-curricular program, KKN becomes a bridge in transferring theoretical concepts to practical life in society. Through mentoring carried out with Field Supervisors, students are asked to compile a program of activities that can produce output in the form of educational activities to products. The resulting output is expected to be a step in preventing transmission of Covid-19. The method used is interactive guidance, through Focus Group Discussions (FGD) and mentoring between lecturers and students. This is done as part of the consultation and assistance activities so that students who carry out KKN Mandiri can achieve the goals and objectives of the activity. Besides, the existence of the KKN application called SIKANDO which has been designed by the University is expected to be a monitoring tool during KKN.

Abstract

Mobilitas pekerjaan dilakukan oleh petani transmigran memiliki tujuan untuk meningkatkan kondisi ekonomi guna mencapai kesejahteraan hidup yang lebih baik. Namun, pada kenyataannya perubahan kondisi ekonomi yang terjadi tidak selalu meningkat sebab terdapat juga yang mengalami penurunan dan bahkan juga terdapat yang tidak mengalami perubahan atau tetap. Maka dari itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran mobilitas pekerjaan dan penyebab terjadinya mobilitas pekerjaan pada petani transmigran di Desa Sidoharjo. Penentuan informan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dan menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teori yang digunakan pada penelitian yaitu teori Pilihan Rasional yang dikemukakan oleh James. S. Coleman. Adapun hasil penelitian ini (1). Mobilitas pekerjaan petani transmigran meliputi 2 jenis yaitu (a). Petani transmigran melakukan perpindahan jenis pekerjaan dari sektor non pertanian ke sektor pertanian seperti sebelumnya bekerja sebagai tukang bangunan berpindah ke petani sawah atau dari penjual kelapa ke petani sawah. (b). Mobilitas pekerjaan dari sektor pertanian ke sektor pertanian seperti dari petani sawah ke petani karet dan sebaliknya petani karet ke petani sawah. Mobilitas pekerjaan yang dilakukan memberi dampak pada kondisi ekonomi petani transmigran, diantaranya yaitu: (a). Peningkatan (b). Penurunan (c). Tetap. (2). Penyebab mobilitas pekerjaan petani transmigran adalah: (a). Kondisi ekonomi, ekonomi menjadi faktor penarik untuk melakukan mobilitas pekerjaaan yang bertujuan agar mencapai kondisi ekonomi dan kesejahteraan hidup lebih baik. (b). Peluang, peluang menjadi faktor pendorong karena dengan adanya peluang petani transmigran dapat bekerja di bidang yang dilakukan saat ini di Desa Sidoharjo.Kata Kunci : Mobilitas Pekerjaan, Petani Transmigran.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to determine the implementation of programs related to the evaluation of the Program  Broadband Learning Center at the Lubuklinggau City Library and Archives Service. The research method is descriptive quantitative. The research sample totaled 93 (ninety three) respondents from participants who attended training in 2017, 2018, 2019, and the samples were taken randomly. The results of the component research input obtained a result of 4.09 (four point nine blanks) included in the Good criteria. The component Activities and Processes obtained a result of 3.84 (three point eighty four) included in the Good criteria, but there were 2 (two) statements in this component that obtained an average score with poor criteria.The component Output obtained a result of 4.10 (four point ten) which is included in the Good criteria. The results of the recapitulation of the components Input, Activities and processes, as well as the Output of 4.01 (four point blank one) are included in the Good criteria with the predicate successful.

Abstract

This community service activitiy aims to improve the capacity, knowledge and skills in various aspects of micro scale enterprise (MSE) or business of gnetum chips (production, management and law). In addition, the goal is improving the quantity and quality of produced gnetum chips. The training has been done to diversify the products processed chips gnetum IE cookies crackers and chips caramelized on the Group micro scale business of Rafflesia and Cempaka in Bengkulu City. In management aspects of the business, it has been implemented various activities that can enhance the knowledge and skills of the partners in managing their business, such as business management and computerized marketing training. Lastly, in terms of the law, it has been implemented mentoring of legal permission to partner in order to register their business to P-IRT. Keywords: mikro scale enterprise, genum (emping), business, income

Abstract

Abstract Child-friendly schools, often abbreviated as SRA, is one of the programs included in the assessment of the Child-Friendly City policy in Bengkulu City. As the presence of a program, the child-friendly school program is a crucial aspect to be socialized to the community component. Especially those at the education unit level, namely schools. This is an effort so that the program can be implemented to create a safe and comfortable environment for children. The method in this community service activity is socialization through counselling and interactive discussion, and question and answer. The activity virtually with the target audience, including principals and teacher representatives at the SD, SMP, SMA/SMK levels throughout Bengkulu City. Socialization activities organized and supported by DP3APPKB Bengkulu City and Province as the leading sector and Provincial, Education Authorities in city and level Province, Bengkulu University Research and Community Service Institute and Level Child-Friendly School facilitators,. The socialization carried out covered several things, including those related to the Convention on the Rights of the Child, the Legal Basis for the implementation of the SRA program, as well as all aspects related to SRA such as the meaning, function, purpose and benefits of SRA when applied in education units. In addition, there is information related to the stages of SRA implementation to sharing sessions related to the description of SRA practices in schools. In this activity, the steps for forming the SRA include what is known as "TIGA MU (Mau, Mampu, Maju)". The result of this activity is the distribution of knowledge about the Child-Friendly School program to all stakeholders at the level of the education unit. So, this activity is expected to provide insight and direct child-friendly behaviour in every stakeholder activity in the school. So that the principles of children's rights, which include: non-discrimination, respect for children, attaching importance to the best interests of children, and the right to life and survival and child development, can be fulfilled. Abstrak Sekolah ramah anak atau yang sering disingkat SRA merupakan salah satu program yang masuk sebagai dalam penilaian pelaksanaan kebijakan Kota Layak Anak di Kota Bengkulu. Sebagaimana kehadiran sebuah program, maka program sekolah ramah anak menjadi aspek penting untuk disosialisasikan kepada komponen masyarakat. Khususnya yang berada di tingkat satuan pendidikan yakni sekolah. Hal ini sebagai upaya agar program dapat dilaksanakan sehingga dapat mewujudkan lingkungan yang aman dan nyaman pada anak. Adapun metode dalam kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah sosialisasi melalui penyuluhan serta diskusi dan tanya jawab secara interaktif. Kegiatan berlangsung secara virtual dengan khalayak sasaran meliputi : Kepala sekolah maupun perwakilan guru di tingkat SD, SMP, SMA/SMK se-Kota Bengkulu. Kegiatan sosialisasi yang diselenggarakan juga didukung oleh DP3APPKB Kota dan Provinsi Bengkulu selaku leading sector, Dinas Pendidikan Kota dan Provinsi, Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian Masyarakat Universitas Bengkulu serta fasilitator Sekolah Ramah Anak Tingkat Provinsi. Sosialisasi yang dilakukan meliputi beberapa hal, diantaranya berkaitan dengan Konvensi Hak Anak, Landasan Hukum penyelenggaran program SRA, serta seluruh aspek yang berkaitan dengan SRA seperti : pengertian, fungsi, tujuan serta manfaat SRA apabila diterapkan di satuan pendidikan. Selain itu, adanya informasi berkaitan dengan tahapan pelaksanaan SRA hingga sharing session berkaitan dengan gambaran praktik SRA di sekolah. Dalam kegiatan tersebut, langkah pembentukan SRA meliputi hal yang dikenal dengan sebutan “TIGA MU (Mau, Mampu dan Maju)”. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah terdistribusinya pengetahuan mengenai program Sekolah Ramah Anak secara luas kepada seluruh stakeholder di tingkat satuan pendidikan. Sehingga, kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan serta dapat mengarahkan perilaku yang ramah anak dalam setiap aktivitas para stakeholder yang ada di sekolah. Sehingga prinsip hak anak yang meliputi : non diskriminasi, penghargaan pada anak, mementingkan kepentingan terbaik bagi anak,serta hak untuk hidup dan kelangsungan hidup serta perkembangan anak dapat terpenuhi.

Abstract

This research discusses the inter collaboration between scouting activities and civic learning outcomes for students at SMP Negeri 2 Polewali Mandar, which is known based on the observations of students on the learning outcomes of Pancasila and civic education, which are classified as a low category. Therefore, through scouting activities to train talents, social interaction, build social communities in learning, self-confidence and independence in learning, and determine their destiny, Scout activities aim to help reduce learning difficulties, which, of course, affect the learning outcomes studied in this study. Talents honed through scouting activities can improve student learning outcomes in the Civics subjects contained in this study. This study aims to answer the question: what is the relationship between scout activities and civic learning outcomes for grade IX students? This research method uses quantitative methods. The population of this study was grade IX students of SMP Negeri 2 Polewali Mandar, totalling 201 students, consisting of 7 groups. The sampling technique used a random sampling system, with the research sample totalling 29 students. The research instruments were observation, civics learning outcomes, and the value of Scouting activities. Data collection is done by reducing information, displaying information, verifying, and concluding. Information collected through learning outcomes and scout activities was then analyzed using the SPSS 2.0 application. The results showed that there was a relationship between scout activities and learning outcomes. Data analysis was carried out using inferential statistical analysis techniques, namely correlation analysis. The results showed that there was a relationship between scout activities and learning outcomes as measured by r table 0.03 and r arithmetic 0.529. This proves significantly that Ha is accepted. So it can be said that the intercollaboration of scouting activities followed by students has a positive relationship with civic learning outcomes.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find and to analyzes the fulfillment of the basic rights on child based on the regulation of the state minister for women empowerment and child protection of the republic of Indonesia No. 12 of 2011 on indicators district of a city worthy of child. The research was done in 2 areas which is located in Gading Cempaka Subdistrict, they are in Cempaka Permai and Lingkar Baratvillage. Research conducted with qualitative approach and data was collected  throughout observation, interview , FGD and study document . The result is a). In the both of areas have not had children forum which can directly accommodate the aspirations of children and do not involve children (age category of teenagers) on the activities and deliberations or work programs that exist in the environment RT or RW. b). In the both of areas has not been in the region of the unavailability of two consulting agencies for parents/family and child welfare agencies. c). In the both of areas has not been in an optimum manner use of leisure time and cultural activities it was found problems yet the number of program activity level of RT and RW aimed at maximizing the potential of children, as well as the unavailability of Green Open Space (RTH) as playing area that is safe and comfortable for children. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah menemukenali serta menganalisis pemenuhan hak dasar pada anak yang didasarkan pada Peraturan Menteri Negara Pemberdayaan Perempuandan Perlindungan Anak Republik Indonesia No. 12 Tahun 2011 tentang Indikator Kabupaten Kota Layak Anak. Penelitian dilakukan di 2 kawasan yang berada di Kecamatan Gading Cempaka, yakni Kelurahan Cempaka Permai dan Kelurahan Lingkar Barat. Peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengambilan informan melalui purposive dan snowball sampling. Adapun teknik pengambilan data dilakukan  melalui observasi, wawancara, FGD dan studi dokumen. Temua penelitian menunjukkan bahwa a). Kedua wilayah penelitian belum memiliki forum anak yang dapat mengakomodir aspirasi anak secara langsung serta belum melibatkan anak khususnya anak kategori usia remaja pada kegiatan dan musyawarah ataupun program kerja yang ada di lingkungan RT/RW maupun kelurahan, b). Di dua kawasan tersebut belum tersedia lembaga konsultasi bagi orang tua/keluarga dan lembaga kesejahteraan anak. c). Belum banyaknya program kegiatan di tingkat RT dan RW yang ditujukan untuk memaksimalkan potensi anak serta belum tersedianya kawasan Ruang terbuka Hijau (RTH) sebagai kawasan bermain yang amandan nyaman bagi anak.
