Abstract

Indonesia Coast Guard (IDNCG) is a paramilitary agency in charge of security and safety patrols in Indonesian maritime waters. The research objective is to develop priorities for the development of 35 IDNCG stations are expected to be constructed within 3 years and are considered priority project to face the increasing threats at sea. However, there is presently no system to provide support for the scientific solutions to prioritize station development despite the need for immediate decisions. This research was used to design model for determining station development priorities using the integration method of Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP), and Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS). GIS was used as an effective tool for identifying and taking measurements in certain areas. Meanwhile, multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) methods such as AHP and TOPSIS provided structural and pairwise quantification, as well as comparisons between elements and criteria for ranking station construction priorities. The most suitable alternative stations to be prioritized were determined by integrating the three methods which were classified as cost-effective for decision-making. Model was based on four criteria, including distance to Archipelagic Sea Lanes (ASL), Distance to the port, vulnerability coverage, and vessel density coverage. Stations were ranked based on a three-year development plan. The location ranking is then expressed in the form of a map to be used by policy makers in determining priorities for developing IDNCG Stations which will have an impact on increasing security and safety in Indonesian waters.

Abstract

This study evaluates the fit of the tested model with the existing data through goodness of fit analysis. Although the p-value is very small and fit indicators such as RMSEA and GFI show inadequate fit, incremental fit indicators such as CFI and IFI show more positive results, indicating a good fit of the model in several aspects. NFI, TLI, and RFI show marginal fit, indicating the need for further improvement. Therefore, it is recommended that the model be adjusted to improve the overall fit. The results of the hypothesis test reveal that orientation towards supply chain disruption and supply chain quality management have no significant effect on supply chain resilience, while digital technology shows a significant positive effect on supply chain resilience. Regarding firm performance, orientation towards supply chain disruption and supply chain resilience have a significant positive effect. Still, supply chain quality management and digital technology do not consistently improve firm performance. These findings highlight the importance of digital technology and supply chain resilience in improving firm performance and indicate the need for further research to explore other factors that influence these results.

Abstract

The study explores the impact of Transportation Management Systems and supply chain integration on business performance in Indonesia's automotive industry, emphasizing how strong integration enhances operational efficiency and competitiveness. It aims to provide insights for company management, investors, regulators, and academicians, contributing to a deeper understanding of Supply Chain Management strategies and their effects on business outcomes. This study examines the impact of Transportation Management System (TMS) and supply chain integration (SCI) on business performance, mediated by supply chain performance (SCP), within the Automotive Industry in Indonesia, using a 5-point Likert scale questionnaire and validated indicators to ensure reliability and validity. The research found that Transportation Management System (TMS) has a positive and significant impact on business performance (BP), enhancing automotive companies' performance in Indonesia. Conversely, Supply Chain Integration (SCI) negatively affects business performance, suggesting that higher integration can reduce performance. However, when both TMS and SCI are mediated by supply chain performance (SCP), the results improve significantly, indicating that effective management of these variables can enhance company performance through better supply chain outcomes.

Abstract

A sustainable competitive advantage refers to a combination of characteristics and capabilities that allow a business to fulfill customer needs more effectively than its competitors. It encompasses elements that enable a company to produce goods or services of superior quality or at a lower cost than others. These advantages help businesses achieve higher sales or profit margins in the market. This literature review aims to examine and identify various factors contributing to the development of sustainable competitive advantage in the creative industry, a topic that has gained significant importance and widespread attention. This research employs a systematic literature review (SLR) approach to investigate these factors in the context of creative industries. Using the SLR approach and the PRISMA framework, this research identified, evaluated, and synthesized 27 relevant articles from the Scopus and IEEE Xplore databases, published between 2014 and 2024. These articles contain results about the factors and problems that can influence sustainable competitive advantage in creative industries with relevant fields, such as social, economic, and technical. A total of 19 factors were found that influence sustainable competitive advantage.  All these factors are important, but production quality, environmental friendliness, finance, innovation, consumer behavior, and human resources are the most prominent. This meta-analysis provides valuable insights and serves as a foundation for advancing efforts to promote the implementation of competitive advantage practices.
