Abstract

Kalibrasi alat ukur radiasi (AUR) wajib dilaksanakan oleh rumah sakit dan fasilitas kesehatan sesuai Peraturan Menteri Kesehatan Nomor 54 tahun 2015 dengan menyertakan ketidakpastian pengukuran. Studi kalibrasi AUR pada fasilitas-fasilitas kesehatan yang ada di Jawa Timur telah dilaksanakan di Balai Pengaman Fasilitas Kesehatan Surabaya. Penentuan nilai ketidakpastian dan faktor kalibrasi dilaksanakan terhadap 20 dosimeter saku analog, 20 dosimeter saku digital dan 10 surveimeter gamma dengan sumber acuan Cs-137. Dari 40 dosimeter saku serta 10 surveimeter gamma yang diuji, hanya 1 dosimeter saku analog tidak layak digunakan karena memiliki nilai faktor kalibrasi di luar standar yang telah ditetapkan.

Abstract

Solar Cell Research Group, which is under Advanced Materials Research Group, Department of Physics, Faculty of Science and Data Analytics, ITS Surabaya, with its competency and research, tries to be actively involved in contributing and providing alternative solutions to problems in society, especially regarding the problem of global warming and energy crisis. One of the concrete actions is through community education activities to increase understanding and awareness of the use of environmentally friendly photovoltaic technology on Gili Ketapang Island, Probolinggo. This island is one of the most populous small islands in Indonesia with the problem of ‘high-cost electricity from the state electricity company. The training materials provided for this activity include the Qur’an and Science, global warming, energy crisis, and renewable energy, and the use of photovoltaic energy technology. Thus, the understanding, awareness, and independence of the community of Gili Ketapang Island in the electricity sector can be improved by utilizing renewable energy sources, especially photovoltaic technology. In the long term, the role of various renewable energies in the future is expected to be more significant on this island by utilizing this abundant solar energy

Abstract

Telah dilakukan studi pendahuluan mengenai perancangan dan pembuatan alat penetrometer untuk menentukan konsistensi tumor otak. Selama ini konsistensi tumor otak sebagai salah satu parameter penting dalam diagnosis dan operasi tumor otak, diprediksi dengan salah satu parameter dari magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), yaitu nilai apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC). Beberapa penelitian mencoba mencari hubungan antara nilai ADC dan konsistensi tumor otak namun hasilnya sangat bervariasi. Dalam industri lainnya sepertiproduk pangan dan perminyakan, konsistensi suatu produk biasanya diukur dengan penetrometer. Penelitian sebelumnya mengenai pengukuran konsistensi tumor otak menggunakan penetrometer menunjukkan hubungan linier antara rasio nilai ADC tumor dibandingkan jaringan otak normal dengan nilai konsistensi tumor otak hasil pengukuran penetrometer. Namun demikian, penetrometer yang digunakan sangat berat dan besar sehingga sulit digunakan pada saat operasi bedah tumor otak. Tujuan dari studi pendahuluan ini adalah (1) menghasilkan produk penetrometer yang dapat digunakan untuk menentukan konsistensi sampel, serta (2) mencari korelasi antara nilai ADC dengan nilai konsistensi sampel hasil pengukuran penetrometer yang telah dibuat pada penelitianini. Setelah penetrometer dibuat, pengujian pada penetrometer dilaksanakan menggunakan sampel berupa jaringan tubuh sapi. Dari hasil pengujian, didapatkan nilai penunjukan penetrometer yang lebih besar dan nilai ADC yang lebih tinggi untuk sampel dengan kekenyalan yang lebih besar.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Internet of Things (IoT)-based Jigsaw learning model on students' creative thinking skills. This research is meta-analysis research. The data sources in this study come from 19 national and international journals published in 2020-2023. Literature search process through Google Scholar, Eric, Springer, ScienceDirect, Sage journal, and ProQuest. Data collection techniques are direct observation and documentation through the journal database. Inclusion criteria are articles or proceedings indexed by SINTA and WOS. Research is in the form of experiments or quasi-experiments. Research is related to the Jigsaw and IoT learning models on students' creative thinking skills and has complete data to be able to calculate the effect size (ES). Data analysis is a quantitative analysis with the help of the JSAP application. The results showed that the average effect size (ES = 0.882) was very high dengan nilai p < 0.05. These findings explain that the Internet of Things (IoT)-based jigsaw learning model has a significant influence on students' creative thinking skills. Furthermore, the IoT-based jigsaw model helps teachers be more creative in conveying subject matter to students.

Abstract

The purpose of this study to develop software to extract and investigate the rofiles of the tube current and volume computed tomography dose index (CTDIvol) along the longitudinal axis (z-axis). The tube current and CTDIvol were extracted from the Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine (DICOM) header of every image along the longitudinal axis. We evaluated the profiles of the tube current and CTDIvol from eight computed tomography (CT) scanners. If the CTDIvol did not fluctuate along the fluctuation of the tube currents, then the system will adjust the CTDIvol with tube currents. It is found that TCM is not always activated. If TCM is activated, the profiles of TCM vary from one scanner to another. The Siemens and Philip scanners have adjusted the CTDIvol profile with tube current, but the Toshiba scanner has not. By developed software, CTDIvol profile of the Toshiba can be easily adjusted. In conclusion, software to investigate the profile pattern of CTDIvol along the longitudinal axis has been successfully developed. The software is easy to use and works quickly. From this study, medical staff must be careful when using the CTDIvol along longitudinal axis contained in each DICOM header.
