Abstract

Betel leaf production in Riau Province has increased from year to year accompanied by an increasing number of plantings. In 2010 with a productivity of 2 tons, while in 2011 with a productivity of 4 tons. With betel leaf producers in Riau Province covering 10 districts/cities namely Indragiri Hulu, Indragiri Hilir, Pelalawan, Siak, Kampar, Rokan Hulu, Rokan Hilir, Bengkalis, Pekanbaru and Dumai. (BPS Province Roau, 2011). The purpose of this activity is to find innovative ideas, increase creativity, instill an entrepreneurial spirit, train mentally and teach to work hard and be responsible. In addition, another goal is to reduce the waste generated by processing them into betel leaf chips, and betel leaf candy. There are several obstacles faced, namely (1) Limited capital. (2) Low motivation for entrepreneurship with betel leaf as the main ingredient. (3) There is no diversity of processed betel leaf products. (4) The absence of packaging and marketing of betel leaf. Activities that will be carried out in this PKM program include several development efforts, including betel leaf chips. The cost of profit from the sale of processed betel leaf products for betel leaf chips is sold at a price of Rp. 20,000 per pack after calculating the manufacture of betel leaf chips of Rp. 10,000, and then betel leaf candy is sold at a price of Rp. 10,000 per pack after calculating the manufacture of betel leaf candy of Rp. 8,000. So that development efforts can increase the income of betel farmers partners.

Abstract

Rosella (Hibiscus sabdariffa L.) is a shrub or shrub which is a seasonal plant in the Malvaceae family. Rosella has many benefits. Roselle plant parts such as seeds, flower petals and leaves can be processed into a variety of foods. The purpose of this activity is to cultivate Rosella plants, to improve a product that is sourced from local wisdom which makes it a goal of this community empowerment activity to explore creative and innovative ideas, instill an entrepreneurial spirit, train mentally and teach hard work and responsibility not only to oneself. , but society. There are several obstacles encountered when carrying out activities, namely (1) limited capital. (2) the lack of Rosella flower plants in urban areas. (3) there is no diversity of processed Rosella flower products. (4) there is no diversity of processed Rosella flower products (5) the lack of people to cultivate Rosella flower plants. Activities that will be carried out in this PKM program include several development efforts, including syrup and candied rosella. The cost of profit from the sale of processed syrup products and candied rosella is sold at a price of Rp. 35,000 per bottle after calculating the making of betel leaf chips of Rp. 30,000, and then the sweets are sold at a price of Rp. 25,000 per pack after calculating the manufacture of betel leaf candy of Rp. 20,000. So that development efforts can increase the income of rosella farmer partners

Abstract

Kampar Regency is one of the largest fish producers in Riau Province. As a fish-producing area, one of them is catfish. Catfish is very easy to get at a relatively cheap price, so it can be a potential in developing activities into varied and high-value products. Judging from its benefits, catfish is a type of healthy food that is low in calories, a complete source of protein, a source of vitamin B12, and contains healthy fatty acids that are good for consumption by all ages. The purpose of this activity is to assist catfish farmers in increasing fish trading. catfish produced by processing catfish into nuggets, and catfish pop. Catfish processing is expected to improve the economy of catfish farmers because so far catfish are only sold raw to collectors or direct buyers at low prices, while the price of seeds and feed is high. Packaging and marketing of processed catfish products in the hope of improving the welfare of catfish farmers.There are several obstacles faced by partners, namely (1). Procurement of feed, this is because the price of feed continues to increase, making it burdensome for farmers to buy fish feed. The high price of feed causes high production prices, while the selling power of catfish is low. at least the profits obtained by catfish farmers. (2). Capital limitations. (3). The low motivation of catfish farmers to become entrepreneurs with catfish as the main ingredient. (4). There is no diversity of processed catfish products. (5). There is no packaging and marketing of catfish. Activities that will be carried out in this PKM program include several development efforts, including: 1. Providing motivation to catfish farmers to become entrepreneurs. 2. Training or practice of making variations in catfish production, this is done considering that fresh catfish is very abundant in Kampar Regency, but its processing is still very lacking. The product variants that are added are nuggets and catfish pop. 3. Packing or product packaging. Products will be packaged with more attractive packaging. 5. Changes in marketing strategy. Catfish are usually sold by collectors or directly to traditional markets around the Kampar Regency area. Abstract

Kampar Regency is one of the banana producers in Riau Province. As a producer of very broad bananas, many types are planted, such as: plantain, stone, bantan, sticks and so on. Bananas are very easy to get at a cheaper price, so they have the potential to develop activities into various variations and have a high selling value. This banana is very useful, banana is a healthy and delicious type that contains fiber, antioxidants and also contains lots of Vitamin C, Vitamin B6, carbohydrates and protein which are good for consumption for anyone. Bananas are an important source of fiber which helps the digestive system and is good for dieting. The purpose of this activity is to assist farmers in increasing the purchase of bananas produced by processing bananas into healthy, tasty, and attractive products for consumers to sell. Processed products such as banana satay, banana sigho and banana sanok. Banana processing is expected to improve the economy of banana farmers because so far bananas are only sold cheaply to collectors or traders at very low prices and get little profit from their harvests. Constraints faced by farmers are the use of science and technology in terms of banana production by using a blender, the purchase price of banana farmers is not proportional to the profits obtained because collectors and actors provide low prices to farmers, low motivation in banana processing. Activities that will be carried out in this Community Partnership Program include several development efforts, namely: 1. Use of science and technology in terms of banana production, which aims to make it easier for farmers to start, 2. motivate banana farmers to become entrepreneurs, 3. Training / practice of making products from bananas because there are so many products that can be made from bananas themselves. The product variants made are banana satay, sigho banana, sanok banana, 4. Packing / packaging the product until it is ready for sale, 5. Sales strategy with bananas to collectors or directly to the traditional market in Kampar district. And processed products from bananas will be sold to stalls, or opening stalls, on the internet. Abstract

Banana is one of Indonesia's leading commodities. Harvested area and banana production always occupy the first position. In 2012 the total production was 6,189,043 tons and the banana harvested area in Indonesia reached 103,157 hectares, with a productivity of 59.99 tons/ha. Indonesia itself is the fourth largest banana producing country in the world. Banana flowers have many health benefits, including high fiber content, low protein and fat, and a source of minerals such as magnesium, iron and copper. Dietary fiber is known to be useful for lowering blood cholesterol levels, normalizing blood glucose and insulin levels so that it is good for consumption by people with diabetes mellitus. In addition, banana heart has a very high antioxidant activity, most of which comes from anthocyanin compounds which are included in the flavonoid and polyphenol groups. The purpose of this activity is to explore innovative ideas, increase creativity, instill an entrepreneurial spirit, train mentally and teach to work hard and be responsible. In addition, another goal is to reduce the waste generated by processing them into banana heart chips and banana heart chips. There are several obstacles faced, namely (1) Limited capital. (2) Low motivation for entrepreneurship with banana heart as the main ingredient. (3) There is no diversity of banana heart products. (4) There is no packaging and marketing of banana blossoms. Abstract

Banana plants are plants that are easy to cultivate either on special land or planted carelessly. The benefits of bananas include detoxifying the digestive system, treating kidney stones and urinary tract infections (UTI), weight loss, controlling cholesterol and blood pressure, curing stomach acid, stabilizing blood sugar, reducing puerperal fever, treating chickenpox, reducing stomach acid and treating diarrhea. infection. Banana tree juice contains potassium which is able to control cholesterol and blood pressure in a person. The purpose of this activity is so that people can take advantage of banana trees so that they have marketability and of course improve health. The methods used are lectures, training on how to manufacture and packaging the products. Banana stem processing is expected to be an alternative to lower blood pressure in hypertensive patients. Abstract

Kangkung land (Ipomea reptans Poir) is one of the horticultural plants that are very popular with the people of Indonesia because of its savory taste. This plant belongs to the group of seasonal crops and is short-lived and does not require large areas to cultivate it so that it is possible to cultivate it in cities where land is generally limited. In addition to the savory taste, the nutrients contained in kale vegetables are quite high. Kale production in Indonesia can reach 10?646.00 tons in 2021 (BPS 2021). The marketing opportunities for land kale are getting wider to supermarkets with the entry of kale vegetables to supermarkets will increase the selling price of this vegetable (Taufik, 2012). This water spinach plant (Ipomoea reptans) is only sold in the market and processed into vegetables, even though there are many processed products that can be used as healthy snacks from this kale raw material. Kangkung is one of the most popular vegetables in Indonesia. This plant comes from the tropics, especially Africa and Asia. Kangkung contains nutrients such as protein, fat, carbohydrates, calcium, phosphorus, iron, sodium, potassium, vitamin A, vitamin B, and vitamin C. (Priyowidodo, 2012). The purpose of this activity is to explore innovative ideas, increase creativity, instill an entrepreneurial spirit, train mentally and teach to work hard and be responsible.
