Abstract

This research aims to investigate of implementation STEM education in SMK Unggulan Terpadu PGII Bandung. The research used the qualitative case study approach. This research took place at SMK Unggulan Terpadu PGII Bandung. The informants in this research were the Vice Principal of the curriculum field in SMK Unggulan PGII and Lecture of Informatics Engineering. The data were collected through observations, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The technical analysis of the data referred to the analysis of Miles & Huberman interactive model, including data collection, data condensation, data display, and drawing and verifying conclusions. The result shows that STEM Education leads students to be able to solve problems, innovative, logical thinking, and insightful technology. So STEM will be implemented through: (1) Scientific-based learning; and (2) Achievement of Learning through Sustainable Learning.

Abstract

With frequent delays in booking aircraft materials carried out in several countries, including: Germany, the United States and France which still use E-Mail in their orders. So the researcher built an E-procurement information system in saturating orders made like a simple tender system. The methodology used in building this E-Procurement information system uses the waterfall methodology as the engineering system stage, namely: Analysis, Designing, cooding, testing and implementation of the system. Whereas the model or tool used in this analytical designer is using UML (Unified Model Language), so the expectation of making this E-Procurement information system is to assist the procurement of aircraft materials in meeting the needs of the procurement of materials in warehouses with good material quality cheap and non-miss communication on orders.

Abstract

Tujuan dari Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini adalah untuk melatih kemampuan dan minat dalam mengelola content creator bagi pelajar sekolah menengah. Metode dalam Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat adalah berbentuk pelatihan yang dilaksanakan secara blended learning karena kondisi Pandemi COVID-19. Lokasi pelatihan dilaksanakan di Kampus UPI Purwakarta, Jalan Veteran No. 8 Nagri Kaler, Kecamatan Purwakarta, Kabupaten Purwakarta, Jawa Barat. Sasaran PkM ini adalah peserta didik tingkat SMA/SMK/MA di Kabupaten Purwakarta dengan jumlah peserta 20 orang. Hasil dari pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini menunjukkan bahwa kebanyakan siswa menengah atas memiliki kecenderungan berinteraksi melalui sosial media. Bahkan 80% (16 siswa) berkeinginan untuk menjadi selebgram dikemudian hari. Selain itu terdapat 70% siswa tersebut pernah atau sering memasarkan produk/jasa melalui sosial media.

Abstract

COMPUTATIONAL THINKING INTRODUCTION FOR TEACHERS IN PURWAKARTA. The changing needs of the industrial world must always be responded quickly by the world of education. The needs of the industrial world change along with technological developments. Currently, the industry has entered the 4.0 era or better known as the digital industry. Today’s society only views computers only as tools, not as a science to educate, even negative when viewed from media notifications that report many cases of technology abuse. This causes parents to tend to limit their children’s use of technology. If children who incidentally are the future of the nation are limited or even prohibited from using technology, of course Indonesia will not be able to compete in the digital era of industry. This mindset must be straightened out, that the computer is not only a tool but also a benchmark for thinking patterns. Community service activities will take place in Purwakarta district in the form of counseling and learning Computational Thinking. Beginning with a face-to-face seminar with lecture learning methods, and questions and answers. After the teachers received counseling, then we facilitated their students to test their computational thinking skills through the Bebras Challenge, in collaboration with the NBO Bebras Indonesia.

Abstract

The implementation of distance learning during the study from home is not optimal especially in the use of learning media to support activities, causing student interest in learning to decline. This condition is experienced by one of the Kindergartens in Bekasi Regency, i.e., Taman Kanak-kanak Islam Terpadu (TKIT) Az-Zachra. In response to this, innovative learning media is needed to foster children’s learning motivation. Therefore, we carry out a program to strengthen online learning using the android-based application as a learning tool for TKIT Az-Zachra’s students, i.e., Quiver-3D Coloring, which is an Augmented Reality-based learning media. This online learning strengthening activity aims to utilize AR-based learning media on children’s learning motivation. The method used in implementing this program is the provision of instructional videos using the Quiver-3D Coloring application through the WhatsApp Group medium. The program target was 36 students and held on one day only (December 3, 2020). The activity results showed that the utilization of Quiver-3D Coloring application could increase student motivation and made learning more interactive.

Abstract

Dalam meningkatkan sumber daya manusia pada perusahaan dibutuhkan suatu proses penilaian kinerja secara selektif yang bertujuan agar mendapatkan sumber daya manusia yang kompeten dan tercapainya terget kerja pada perusahaan. Oleh karenanya objektivitas sangatlah diperlukan dalam mendukung setiap keputusan. Dalam hal ini perusahaan CV.Krissamindo masih belum optimal dalam pelaksanaan penilaian kinerja karyawannya, serta dalam penilaiannya pun subjektif. Masalah yang muncul pada penilaian kinerja karyawan CV.Krissamindo yaitu dengan penilaian secara objektif tidak berdasarkan pembobotan kriteria kerja. Sehingga menurut peneliti dibutuhkan suatu sistem pendukung keputusan penilaian kinerja karyawan secara objektif pada perusahaan CV.Krissamindo menggunakan metode Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) yang berdasarkan kriteria yang sudah di tentukan oleh perusahaan yaitu masa kerja, absensi, kinerja dan perilaku. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah telah terimplementasinya Metode SAW penilaian kinerja karyawan CV.Krissamindo sehingga penulis berharap dapat membantu mempermudah dalam pengambilan keputusan penilaian kinerja karyawan terbaik secara objektif berdasarkan bobot dari masing-masing kriteria.

Abstract

Edutech startups are currently experiencing rapid development. This is because the need for Indonesian digital skilled workers reaches 9 million people in 2030. One way to be able to print digital skilled workers according to industry needs is by building an edutech startup. One of the edutech startups whose goal is to produce quality young people is Binar Academy. Various courses are provided with varying prices for subscriptions. The courses available at Binar Academy are Product Management, Frontend, Backend, Android Developer, UI/UX Designer and others. One of the newest products, Binar Go, provides interesting and flexible learning according to the needs of today's young generation. Product Binar Go has a huge opportunity to increase digital skilled workers. Especially for the younger generation who will enter the industrial world. This study uses a mixed method, namely quantitative and qualitative methods. In the survey, 55% said there were several obstacles when using the Binar Go android application that caused users to be less comfortable. To solve these problems and provide a higher quality learning experience, it is necessary to improve the product, one of which is by creating new features. Therefore, to complement the new features that do not exist in Binar Go, the researcher uses the prioritization of the Eisenhower Matrix and the Kano model in developing this product. The Eisenhower Matrix is ​​a feasible way of prioritizing a job and the Kano Model is a diagram that can help prioritize customer needs in more detail. By using the prioritization of the Eisenhower Matrix and the Kano model, it can help researchers to determine which features can be developed first to improve the quality of Binar Go's features.

Abstract

Some internal factors influence problem-solving ability. Some internal factors that presumably influence problem-solving are mathematics anxiety and Gender. This study aims to determine problem-solving abilities regarding mathematics anxiety and Gender. It is a quantitative research that involves 66 students of a Junior High School in Yogyakarta. The sampling technique used is a simple random sampling technique. The instruments in this study were a problem-solving ability test and a mathematics anxiety questionnaire. The data analysis technique used is Two Way ANOVA. The results show differences in problem-solving ability regarding the students' mathematics anxiety levels. However, there was no difference in students' mathematical problem-solving abilities between male and female students. On the other hand, there is no difference in students' mathematical problem-solving abilities in terms of the level of mathematics anxiety and Gender.

Abstract

Perpustakaan Kota Cirebon merupakan perpustakaan daerah yang digunakan sebagai wujud pelayanan kepada pemustaka dan masyarakat khususnya yang dinaungi oleh Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan kota cirebon. Sistem pelayanan di Perpustakaan Kota Cirebon yang dilakukan saat ini masih berjalan manual untuk berkaitan penyebaran informasi dan fasilitas layanan yang diberikan kepada masyarakat Kota Cirebon, hal inilah yang masih dirasa kurang efisien. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu melakukan perancangan Aplikasi CIRLIB (Cirebon Library) berbasis Android untuk Perpustakaan Kota Cirebon. Perancangan User interface aplikasi ini dilakukan dengan pengumpulan data dan metode pengembangan sistem yang berfokus pada pembuatan Prototype. Metode yang pengembangan yang digunakan yaitu Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) dengan jenis prototype, dengan alasan metode ini tepat tepat dan mudah untuk di aplikasikan sesuai dengan jenis penelitian yang dilakukan. Penelitian ini dijadikan sebagai pengembangan penyelenggaraan perpustakaan di Kota Cirebon yang lebih efektif dan efisien. Adapun user interface CIRLIB (Cirebon Library) yang dibuat terdapat layanan informasi penting perpustakaan, layanan peminjaman buku, layanan baca di tempat, buku elektronik serta edukasi.

Abstract

The increasing use of the internet during the Covid-19 pandemic requires people to carry out activities from home to tackle the spread of the virus. The need for innovation in shopping for sellers to meet their daily needs in serving their customers is certainly a challenge in shopping online with various obstacles and conditions. The challenge in providing information related to the goods that will be offered by buyers, of course, requires insight into presenting a product in the form of a catalog that will be loaded digitally. The product catalog is in the form of product explanations in the form of attractive images and text. Seeing the possibility of an increase in digital shopping habits, the presence or absence of Covid-19 certainly impacts the changing patterns of people's lifestyles in shopping online. Thus, the method of community service itself is carried out by preparing people in Purwakarta Regency who want to offer their products online in the form of catalog-making training, the implementation is carried out on the UPI campus in Purwakarta, and evaluation is the achievement of the training conducted by the workshop organizers. Thus, the expected results are very satisfying for the participants in terms of adding knowledge and insight, benefits and improvements in making catalog designs.
