Abstract

Penelitian ini didasari pada rendahnya hasil belajar matematika siswa, rendahnya kecerdasan emosional dan lingkungan belajar di rumah yang kurang efektif. Kecerdasan emosional yang rendah meliputi siswa yang tidak memperhatikan ketika guru menjelaskan materi, keluar masuk kelas, berbicara dengan teman sebangku dan ada siswa yang tidak mengerjakan tugas yang diberikan guru serta kurangnya fasilitas belajar di rumah seperti buku bacaan matematika, meja belajar dan penyediaan tempat belajar yang belum nyaman. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya hubungan positif dan signifikan antara kecerdasan emosional dan lingkungan belajar di rumah dengan hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas XI MAN 3 Bantul Semester Genap Tahun Ajaran 2017/2018. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI Keagamaan MAN 3 Bantul Tahun Ajaran 2017/2018, yang terdiri dari kelas XI Keagamaan 1 dan XI Keagamaan 2 yang keseluruhan berjumlah 66 siswa. Diperoleh kelas XI Keagamaan 2 sebagai kelas sampel penelitian dengan teknik random sampling terhadap kelas. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode angket untuk memperoleh data kecerdasan emosional dan lingkungan belajar di rumah, serta metode tes untuk memperoleh data hasil belajar matematika. Uji instrumen penelitian yang dilakukan yaitu uji validitas, dan uji reliabilitas. Uji prasyarat analisis meliputi uji normalitas, uji linearitas, dan uji independensi. Analisis data menggunakan analisis product moment dan analisis regresi linear ganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan positif dan signifikan antara kecerdasan emosional dan lingkungan belajar di rumah dengan hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas XI MAN 3 Bantul Semester Genap Tahun Ajaran 2017/2018. Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh Fhitung > Ftabel yaitu > dengan koefisien korelasi ganda (R) = dan koefisien determinasi (R2) = dengan persamaan regresi linear ganda dua variabel yaitu . Besar sumbangan relatif X1 = 41,6136% , X2 = 58,3864% dan sumbangan efektif X1 = 7,6827% , X2 = 10,7793%.

Abstract

This research was conducted because the problem encountered at State Junior High School 3 (SMP N 3) Prambanan Sleman was the low interest in students' learning mathematics, as seen from the Middle Semester Deuteronomy results. This problem involves students who pay less attention to the learning process and students' feelings towards monotonous learning. Thus, this study aims to increase students' interest in learning mathematics using the discovery learning model. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The research setting used in this study was the classroom setting in mathematics learning activities carried out in class VIII B in the second semester of SMP N 3 Prambanan Sleman in the 2018/2019 academic year. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation, questionnaires, and interviews. Analysis of the data used in the analysis of observational data, analysis of student questionnaire response data, and student and teacher interviews analysis. The results of this study indicate that 1) students' interest in learning increases from cycle I to cycle II with the average value of the results of the questionnaire cycle I was 66.08 increased to 70.11 in cycle II; 2) the increase in participation in learning the first cycle was 56.25% increased to 72.92% in the second cycle; 3) the results of the interviews seen more and more students increased interest in learning mathematics. Hoping that using the learning discovery learning model will increase students' interest in   learning mathematics.

Abstract

Students' cooperation is still low. Students prefer to work individually in the learning process. The objective of this research is to improve students' corporation by implementing corporative style 'Think Pair Share' Class VII at Islamic Junior High School (MTS) Muhammadiyah Karangkajen  First Semester in Academic Year 2017/2018 This is a classroom action research in which took Students' Class VII A at MTS Muhammadiyah Karangkajen as the object to implement cooperative learning style Think Pair share in learning mathematic. This research was conducted in two cycles, and each cycle had two meetings. The data collecting technique used observation and interview. The Data was analyzed by using qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis. This research showed that cooperative learning style 'Think Pair Share' could improve the students' cooperation in Class VII A at MTs Muhammadiyah Karangkajen First Semester in Academic Year 2017/2018. It is proved in the result of observation in each cycle. The first cycle showed 42% (Average), and the second cycle increased to be 74% (High). Moreover, students' interviewing showed students' cooperative improvement from the first cycle to the second cycle.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the reasons student low mathematic result learning, are less active in learning, rare and shy to ask. Math as a difficult subject and learning model used by teachers less varried. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of cooperative learning model NHT, learning models jigsaw and the result learning mathematic in second grade MTs Muhammadiyah Karangkajen in first semester academic year 2016/2017. The population in this study were all students of class VII MTs Muhammadiyah Karangkajen in first semester of academic year 2016/2017 is divided into five classes totaling 150. Samples were taken 3 classes using random sampling techniques, derived  class VII D as an experimental class I, VII C class as the experimental class II, and VII A class as the control class. Data analysis techniques used for the prerequisite test including normality test with chi-square formula, bartlett homogeneity test by test, and test hypotheses include F test and significant raced different (LSD). Results of research on the significant level of 5% and db (2,87) show (1) there are differences in result learning of mathematics that uses model jigsaw, NHT learning model and conventional learning model. It is indicated with Fcount = 9,7078 > Ftable = 3,115 and (2) Cooperative learning NHT, jigsaw and more effective than conventional towards mathematics learning result. These results indicated by result of hypothesis testing 1-SD where the significant level of 5% and 87 degress of freedom is obtained in one case because of  then  accepted means . In case II  then  is rejected and > means , while in the case III   then  is rejected and dan  > means .

Abstract

Mathematics learning media in the learning process can help students understand mathematics, but in fact, learning media availability is still limited. This study aims to develop learning media using Adobe Flash CS.3 with a contextual approach on subject matter Polyhedron for students of SMP/MTs VIII grade that eligible to use in the mathematics learning process. This study included research and development using the ADDIE method that consists of five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Subjects were subject matter experts, media experts, and students of Muhammadiyah Junior High School (SMP Muhammadiyah) 4 Yogyakarta and State Junior High School (SMP Negeri) 1 Gamping. Data were analyzed using qualitative analysis were converted into a cumulative grade Likert scale—data collection techniques, such as interviews, questionnaires, and observations. The product media developed has been assessed and validated by three experts, math learning materials, and three math learning media experts. The results of the expert assessment of the material obtained a score of 68 on average with a very good category. The results of expert media assessment obtained an average score of 105 with a very good category. The students 'responses to the technical quality assessed in the small-scale trials obtained an average score of 47.05 with both categories. The students' response to the technical quality assessed in the classroom usage test scored an average of 50.3 with either category. When viewed from the material experts and the media experts into the category, the feasibility level of the learning media of mathematics is very good, whereas when viewed from the student response on small-scale testing and trial class usage into the category of good. So that learning media developed feasible to use in learning mathematics.

Abstract

The low students learning motivation, students do not use learning resources well, and low of parents' attention to children's learning activities were related to students mathematics learning outcomes. This study aims to determine the presence or absence of a positive relationship between and significant relationship between learning motivation, use of learning resources, and parents' attention with the result of mathematics learning outcomes in students class VII on odd semester at MTs Negeri Godean Academic Year of 2015/2016. The population in this study was all students of class VII on odd semester at MTs Negeri Godean Academic Year of 2015/2016 consists of 4 class. While the sample being picked class VII B and test class VII A as a study sample with a random sampling technique to the class. Data were collected by a questionnaire test and methods test. Test research instruments used are the validity test, reliability test, and different power test. The prerequisite test used normally tests, linearity and independent test. Analysis of data using product-moment correlation analysis and linear regression analysis. The result showed that there was a positive and significant correlation between learning motivation, use of learning resources and parent attention with mathematic learning outcomes, multiple correlation coefficient (R) 0,823 with a regression equation Y ̂=-33,384+0,427X_1+0,487X_2+0,288X_3, at the 5% significance level, obtained F_count at 19,716 and F_table at 2,95 means F_count≥F_table. The percentage relative contribution of learning motivation 42,71%, the relative contribution on use of learning 36,33%, and the relative contribution on parents attention 20,97% and then the effective contribution of learning motivation 28,99%, the effective contribution of the use of learning outcomes 24,65%, and the effective contribution of parents attention 14,23 %.

Abstract

The low student learning outcomes are influenced by several factors, one of which the model used in the less varied learning of mathematics is still centered on the teacher. This study aims to determine more effective learning between mathematics learning using cooperative learning model type two to stay two strays with learning mathematics with a cooperative learning model type index card match to students' mathematics learning outcomes. This study population was all seven grade students of State Islamic Junior High School 7 Sleman (MTs Negeri 7 Sleman) regency Academic Year 2016/2017, which consists of 5 classes. The sampling technique using a random sampling technique and selected class VII A as an experimental I class and class VII C as an experimental II class. The data was collected using the test method—tests using instrument validity and reliability. Data analysis techniques used for the analysis include the prerequisite test, normality test, and homogeneity test. Analysis of data used hypothesis testing. Based on mathematics learning result obtained that 1)  and  which means . This means that there is a difference in learning outcomes between learning mathematics using cooperative learning model type two stay two strays with mathematics learning using a cooperative learning model type index card match of seven grade students of MTs Negeri 7 Sleman in even semester regency Academic Year 2016/2017. 2)  and  which means . This shows that the learning of mathematics with cooperative learning model type two stay two strays are more effective than the learning of mathematics using cooperative learning model type index card match towards mathematics learning outcomes in seven grade students of MTs Negeri 7 Sleman in even semester regency Academic Year 2016/2017.

Abstract

Many factors determine student learning outcomes. Self-regulated learning and parent’s attention are some of the factors suspected that relate to student learning outcomes. This study aims to determine the presence or absence of a positive relationship between and significant relationship among the self-regulated learning and parent’s attention with learning achievement mathematics students class Vocational High School (SMK) 1 Bantul in the first semester of the academic year 2018/2019. The populations of this study were all students of class XI consisting of 6 classes with 188 students. Samples were taken using a random sampling technique. The data collection techniques used the non-test technique by a questionnaire and test. The test research instruments were: validity tests, different power tests, reliability tests, and independence tests. The writer uses product-moment correlation analysis and multiple linear regression analysis to analyze the data. The results of the study showed that there was a positive and significant correlation between: self-regulated learning and parent’s attention to the mathematics learning outcomes with R2 = 0.6869, coefficient determine 0,4718 and Fcount = 12.0598  Ftable = 3.3541, with RC = , RC  =  and EC = , EC  = .

Abstract

Low student achievement is closely related to many factors, one of which is parents' attention and learning independence on the learning achievement. This study aimed to determine whether there is a positive and significant relationship between parents' attention and learning independence on mathematics learning achievement in grade VII students at State Islamic Junior High School (MTs Negeri) 6 Kulon Progo in the academic year 2019/2020. The population in this study were students of grade VII at MTs Negeri 6 Kulon Progo in the academic year 2019/2020, consisting of classes VII A, VII B, VII C, and VII D with a total of 128 students. The sample was taken from class VII A as a research sample and carried out by a purposive sampling technique. The researcher used a questionnaire method to collect data on parents' attention and learning independence. At the same time, the test method was used to determine mathematics learning achievement. Research instruments include validity tests, different power tests, and reliability tests. Requirements analysis includes a normality test, linearity test, and independence test. The researcher used product-moment correlation analysis and multiple linear regression analysis to analyze data. The results showed a positive and significant relationship of parents' attention and learning independence on the mathematics learning achievement in Grade VII students at MTs Negeri 6 Kulon Progo in the academic year 2019/2020. This was indicated by  which was 8.48355> 3.32765 with R = 0.60754 and =0.36911 with RC  = 31.85638%, RC = 68.14361% and EC = 11.75863 %, EC  = 25.15276%.

Abstract

Based on the observation in SMP Muhammadiyah 9 Yogyakarta obtained some information that low numerical ability, parents pay less attention to children/students in terms of learning, and student learning discipline is less. This study aims to determine whether or not a positive and significant relationship between numerical ability, parental attention, and discipline of learning with the results of learning mathematics seventh-grade students  Muhammadiyah Junior High School 9 Yogyakarta (SMP Muhammadiyah 9 Yogyakarta) even semester 2016/2017 academic year. SMP Muhammadiyah 9 Yogyakarta academic year 2016/2017 consists of 5 classes. All classes have an average value of final exams that is almost the same, so that the population in this study is class seventh gradee A to seventh grade E. Sampling technique using random sampling technique to class and class of VIIC selected as sample class. Data collection techniques used questionnaires and tests. The data collection instrument uses numerical ability tests, questionnaires of parental attention, discipline study questionnaires, and learning results. Test of research instrument using validity test, reliability test, and different power tests. The prerequisite analysis test includes a normality test, linearity test, and independence test—data analysis for hypothesis testing using product-moment correlation analysis and multiple linear regression analysis.  The results showed a positive and significant relationship between numerical ability, parental attention, and discipline of learning with the results of learning mathematics. At a significant level of 5%, v1 = 3, v2 = 28, Fcount = 49,9147137 and Ftable = 2,946685269, Fcount> Ftable with double correlation coefficient R = 0.917861751 and multiple regression equation three variables namely Y = -18 , 86970257 +0,385695364 X1 + 0,260272591 X 2 + 0,599196062 X3. Relative contribution X1 = 38,54162209%, X2 = 48,612,2907%,  X3 = 48,612,2907%, with double determination coefficient 0,842470194 and effective contribution X1 = 32,47016786%, X2 = 10,8224975% and X3 = 40,95435408%.
