Abstract

Lemon juice consisted of 5% citric acid, which gives a distinctive flavor of lemon and gives an pH acidity of about 2-3. Citrate in the lemon juice can be used as a diuretic  (laxative urine).  Citrate  blocks  the  formation  of  Ca  oxalate  or  Ca phosphate and form Ca citrate which dissolved in water, so that citrate is able to blocks the kidney stones of calcium production. The purpose of this research is to assess the Ca oxalate solubility by concentration optimization of lemon juice and Ca oxalate weight. From the optimization, the treatment for this research is to marinated the Ca oxalate in lemon juice for 1 hour, 2 hours, and 3 hours, then determine the percentage of the ability of the lemon juice to dissolves Ca oxalate. The result showed that the optimum concentration of the lemon juice (Citrus lemon) is 100%, the optimum weight of Ca oxalate (CaC 2O4) is 1.0 grams and theoptimum lemon juice marinating based on the concentration and the optimum weight is 3 hours, so it can be concluded that the the longer the time Ca oxalate marinated in higher solubility of lemon juice the higher the Ca oxalate. The Ca oxalate dissolved for 1 hour was 21,43% ± 0,11, 2 hours 25,52% ± 0,18  and 3 hours of 42,31% ± 0,09. Key word: Power to dissolve, Lemon juice, citrate, Ca oxalate.

Abstract

Sukun termasuk dalam genus Artocarpus (famili Moraceae) yang terdiri atas 50 spesies tanamanberkayu. Daun tanaman sukun mengandung beberapa zat berkhasiat seperti asam hidrosianat,asetilcolin, kalium, tanin, riboflavin, dan sebagainya. Zat-zat tersebut mampu mengatasi peradangan,menurunkan kolesterol, mengobati penyakit hati, inflamasi, jantung, ginjal dan pembuluh darah.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis kadar kalium pada larutan daun sukun segar, kering, dandaun sukun yang diabukan, melakukan optimasi konsentrasi daun sukun kering dan berat Ca Oksalat(CaC2O4), serta menentukan daya larut Ca Oksalat (CaC2O4) oleh kalium dalam air rebusan teh daunsukun (Artocarpus altilis). Hasil penelitian adalah kadar kalium pada larutan daun sukun segar 560,22mg/kg, pada larutan daun sukun kering 573,68 mg/kg, dan pada daun sukun yang diabukan adalah872,68 mg/kg. Rata – rata daya larut Ca Oksalat dalam air rebusan teh daun sukun dengan frekuensisatu kali sehari selama tujuh hari adalah 81,73%. Ada pengaruh penggunaan air teh daun sukun satukali sehari selama tujuh hari berturut – turut terhadap prosentase daya larut kalsium oksalat.

Abstract

Tifoid fever is endemic disease who caused by Salmonella typhi bacteria and still to be seriously health problem in Indonesia. The treatment still use antibiotic who can cause resistant if uncontrol using. Tamarind (Tamarindus indica) is plant who can use as medicine. The leaves contain flavonoid, tannin, and saponin who can function as antibacteria. The purpose of this research to know inhibition of tamarind leaves to Salmonella typhi who caused tifoid fever in 25% consentration. This research using old tamrind leaves from Rembang. The leaves was drying and powdering, then soxhletation with eter, extraction with maceration and infused method using distiled water with 25% concentration, then freeze dying and make 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 mg/25 μL concentration per disc in a row. antibacteri tested with Kirby bauer method. The result of this experiment showing all of variance concentrations at disc can inhibit Salmonella typhi BA07.4 in maceration method as well as in infused method in 25% concentration of tamarind leaves. 5 mg/25 μL concentration has large antibacterial essence showed with existence large zone of inhibition 11,5 mm in maceration method and 14 mm in infused method. infused method of 25% tamarind leaves is more antibacterial essence than maceration method.Keyword : Tamarind leaves, Salmonella typhi, Tifoid fever

Abstract

Kandungan nutrisi Artemia terdiri dari protein, karbohidrat, lemak, air dan abu. Protein merupakan kandungan terbesar dapat mencapai 58,58%., sehingga peranannya sebagai pakan sangat dibutuhkan. Kandungan protein di dalam artemia Kista artemia sebagai pakan ikan alami yang telah diawetkan dengan cara pembekuan dibawah suhu 0°C, ditiriskan pada suhu ruang yang memiliki suhu antara 28°C – 31°C, dan pengeringan menggunakan alat ataupun dengan sinar matahari langsung yang suhunya 60°C. Sehingga perlu dilakukan penelitian terhadap kandungan protein berdasarkan suhu penyimpanannya. Sampel penelitian diambil secara purporsif yaitu kista artemia tidak bermerk (curah) yang dibeli dari petambak artemia di kota Rembang sebanyak 100 gram dalam keadaan kering angin kemudian diambil ± 2 gram untuk penetapan kadar air yang dilakukan secara duplo, diambil ± 15 gram dan dibagi menjadi 15 bagian yang setiap 5 bagian disimpan pada suhu   -20°C, 31°C dan 60°C selama 48 jam kemudian pada setiap suhu penyimpanan ditetapkan kadar proteinnya sebanyak 5 kali menggunakan metode kjeldahl.Hasilnya sebagai berikut: 1) Kadar protein pada kista artemia setelah penyimpanan pada suhu - 20°C selama 48 jam adalah 46,77 %; 2) setelah penyimpanan pada suhu 31°C selama 48 jam adalah 46,40 %; 3)  setelah penyimpanan pada suhu 60°C selama 48 jam  adalah 41,57 %; 4) Tidak ada pengaruh suhu terhadap kadar protein pada penyimpanan suhu -20°C dengan 31°C, ada pengaruh suhu terhadap kadar protein pada penyimpanan suhu -20°C dengan 60°C, dan ada pengaruh suhu terhadap kadar protein pada penyimpanan suhu 31°C dengan 60°C.Kata Kunci: kadar protein, kista artemia curah, variasi penyimpanan suhu

Abstract

Abstract

This research aims to know the feasibility of the android application “Chemical Lab Work Guide” as theoritical learning media. The theoritical feasibility of the media is viewed from the aspect of material feasibility and media feasibility. The feasibility of the material includes the truth of the concept, the mathematics and the clarity of the practical steps, implementation, evaluation and assignment, and learning strategies. While the feasibility of the media includes language, visual display, software engineering, information about the media, and response /feedback. The development research used ADDIE model. The subject of the research were material experts and media experts. Data collection techniques were carried out using questionnaires with the type of choice. Data analysis uses quantitative data analysis. The research results obtained are android application received an assessment from material experts getting a score of 99.3 with a conversion of 4.5, so that it falls into the very feasible category. Then the assessment of the media experts got a score of 90 with a conversion of 4.1, so that it was in the decent category. The high value of material and media feasibility, showsthat the Android application "Chemical Lab Work Guide" as a theoretical learning media is feasible.   Keywords: Learning Media, Android Application, Chemical Practicum, Theoretical Feasibility

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Team Games Tournament (TGT) model on the collaboration skills of the XII-C2 grade students at SMA Negeri 11 Semarang on the topic of reduction and oxidation reactions. The research method used is a mixed method with a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design. The steps of this Classroom Action Research include plan, act, observe, and reflect. The implementation period of the Classroom Action Research is from October 18, 2024, to November 19, 2024. The subjects of this research are 36 students from class XII-C2 at SMA Negeri 11 Semarang. The technique for collecting data is the observation technique. The quantitative data analysis techniques used are descriptive statistics and the Paired T-Test. This data analysis is conducted to test the effect of the TGT model on students' collaboration skills. The research indicating a significant improvement in the collaboration skills of class XII-C2 students using the TGT learning model implemented in cycle 2. Based on anecdotal records, students with high collaboration skills tended to be active in participating in learning during cycles 1 and 2. On the other hand, students with low collaboration skills need more support and guidance from the teacher.
