Abstract

This study aims to analyze the validity of testimonies through CCTV in adultery cases according to As-Syafi'i and Az-Zhahiri jurisprudence. The research employs a comparative analysis method, examining primary sources from both schools of thought. The study investigates the fundamental requirements for witness testimony in adultery cases and how these requirements apply to CCTV evidence. The research findings reveal a significant divergence between the two jurisprudential perspectives. As-Syafi'i jurisprudence strictly requires direct eyewitness testimony, thus rejecting CCTV evidence as valid testimony in adultery cases. Conversely, Az-Zhahiri jurisprudence adopts a more flexible approach, potentially accepting CCTV evidence under specific conditions based on their acceptance of blind witnesses' testimonies. This study concludes that while As-Syafi'i jurisprudence maintains a conservative stance on admissible evidence in adultery cases, Az-Zhahiri jurisprudence demonstrates greater adaptability to technological advancements in evidence gathering. These findings have significant implications for applying Islamic law in contemporary contexts, particularly regarding the use of modern technology in legal proceedings.

Abstract

Over an extended duration, small-scale farmers have been contending with the persistent issue of electricity scarcity, which adversely affects crop production, particularly during dry seasons. The dependence on generators, despite being expensive and environmentally harmful due to oil spillage and Carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions, remains a prevalent yet unsustainable solution. Wind energy emerges as a promising alternative with diverse benefits for farmers, addressing concerns related to irrigation, storage, and water management, ultimately leading to significant yield increases during dry periods. This study investigates the performance of a small-scale wind energy conversion system tailored for the irrigation needs of farmers in arid regions, focusing on Zaria Local Government, Kaduna State, Nigeria as a case study. Utilizing wind speed data from the Nigeria Meteorological Agency (NIMET), the system's electrical parameters, including voltage, current, frequency, and power, were analyzed to assess fluctuations resulting from wind speed variations. Results show significant variability in electrical parameters: wind speed ranged from 3.10 m/s to 9.83 m/s, resulting in fluctuations in generated voltage (98 volts to 250 volts), current (51 amps to 103 amps), frequency (39 Hz to 65 Hz), and power (5.1 kW to 20.6 kW). Converter systems were found effective in stabilizing output for grid integration: the AC/DC converter converted fluctuating AC signals into stable DC output (200 volts, 93 amps), while the subsequent DC/AC inverter produced non-fluctuating AC output (voltage: 200 volts, current: 92 amps, frequency: 50 Hz, power: 18.3 kW). These findings emphasize feasibility of implementing wind energy solutions in remote agricultural areas.

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah indikasi kurang optimalnya produktivitas kerja karyawan.  Hal ini di sebabkan kurangnya pengawasan kerja oleh pimpinan perusahaan.  Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pengawasan kerja oleh pimpinan terhadap  produktivitas kerja karyawan di PT. Jasa Manunggal Pulau Mas Palembang. Populasi penelitian terdiri dari 360  karyawan. Sampel penelitian menggunakan tekhnik random sampling yaitu seluruh jumlah populasi diambil 25% untuk dijadikan sampel penelitian. Metode peneitian yang digunakan metode korelasi dengan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji signifikan (uji t). Berdasarkan analisis peneliti, hasil pengujian hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa variabel Pengawasan Kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Produktivitas Kerja, hal ini ditunjukkan dengan nilai thitung> ttabel (12.788>1.67252). Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh Pengawasan kerja Oleh Pimpinan Terhadap Produktivitas Kerja Karyawan Di PT. Jasa Manunggal Pulau Mas Palembang. Artinya, semakin baik Pengawasan Kerja, maka semakin tinggi Produktivitas Kerja. Disarankan bagi pimpinan perusahaan, agar dapat menjadi acuan atau tolak ukur dalam menjalankan Pengawasan kerja  untuk menjadikan mutu Karyawan menjadi lebih baik. Bagi karyawan, agar dapat meningkatkan Produktivitas  kerja Bagi peneliti, penelitian ini dapat menambah wawasan tentang Pengawasan Kerja Dan Produktivitas Kerja.

Abstract

Several bacterial pathogens can cause diseases of potato. Ralstonia solanacearum and Erwinia carotovora are those of the world’s most important diseases of potato, especially in tropical climates. This experiment was aimed to obtain putative potato cultivars having good tolerance to bacterial wilt caused by R. solanacearum and soft rot caused by E. carotovora. Two adopted potato cultivars in Indonesia, cv. Atlantic (2n=4X=48) and cv. Granola (2n=4X=48), were used as parents. The experiment was arranged in a Randomized Complete Design. Test for tolerance was perfomed in vitro using BF15 as susceptible control and Solanum stenotonum as tolerance control. The result showed that there was high diversity of tolerance level to both R. solanacearum and E. carotovora. Some clones showed good tolerance level as compared to cv. Atlantic and cv. Granola, but none showed that as compared to S. stenotonum.
