Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the factors it hat cause a decrease in the financing of BPRS Al-washliyah ieen from Third Party Funds (DPK), Non Performing Financing (NPF), Return On Assets (ROA) and Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) affect financing. The population in this study is BPRS Al-washliyah. The dependent variable (Y) of this study is the financing of the Al-washliyah BPRS .The independent variables (X) include: Third Party Funds (DPK), Non Performing Financing (NPF),Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) and Return On Assets (ROA). The methodius ediisi quantitativeire search methodiusing SPSS20.0 data analysis. Basedion multiple regression analysis, the results showed that Third Party Funds (DPK) affected the financing of BPRS Alwahilyah, Non Performing Financing (NPF) did not affect the financing of BPRS Al-washliyah,Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) did not affect the financing of BPRS Al-washliyah, Returnion Assets (ROA) affect the financing of BPRS Alwahilyah.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to try to provide an overview of the efficiency of implementing fintech and digitalization that must be done by Islamic banking, one of which is at Bank Sumut Medan Sharia Branch Office. The method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques by conducting a literature study approach (library research) and interviews. The results showed that the state of implementation and cooperation with fintech companies has not been running as has been done by conventional Sumut Banks. However, in the future Bank Sumut Syariah will realize the release or add some banking services with a digitalization system. With the hope of implementing fintech and the realization of more optimal digitization services at PT Bank Sumut, Medan Sharia Branch Office is expected to be able to provide progress and maximize market share in Islamic banking

Abstract

The Bank has taken advantage of the development of information technology in its banking services by launching mobile banking (m-banking). Bank BSI is one of the banks that provides mobile banking services to customers named BSI Mobile. This study aims to determine how much customer interest in using BSI Mobile and how the application of BSI Mobile to customer satisfaction. This research is a quantitative research, the data obtained in this study is primary data because it is obtained from the results of interviews with customers of BSI KCP Medan Pulo Brayan. BSI Mobile is one of the distribution channels used to access customer accounts via smartphones using the 3G/4G technology network and Wifi owned by Bank Syariah Indonesia, can be installed on the Playstore or Appstore. The features in BSI Mobile provided are Account Info, Transfer, Payment, Purchase, Islamic Services, Sharing-Ziswaf, e-mas, Favorites, Cash Withdrawal, Open Account, Top-Up eWallet, E-Commerce, Scheduled Transactions, Keyboards, and Financing. The application of the database provided by Bank Syariah Indonesia to customer transaction activities through BSI Mobile is one of Bank Syariah Indonesia's efforts to improve service and existence in the current economic situation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul “Mekanisme Handling Complaint Pada Unit Customer Service di PT. Bank Sumut KCP Syari’ah Simpang Kayu Besar”. Mekanisme Handling Complaint adalah tata cara penanganan pengaduan. Metode penelitian memakai penelitian kualitatif memakai pendekatan studi kasus dengan cara observasi dan wawancara. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui mekanisme atau tata cara penanganan pengaduan pelanggan PT Bank Sumut KCP Syari’ah Simpang Kayu Besar. Perusahaan dapat mengoptimalkan penanganan pengaduan pelanggan agar segera memperbaiki kesalahan-kesalahan terhadap layanan bank. Dengan begitu perusahaan bisa memunculkan idea atau gagasan pembaharuan produk, melebarkan pemasaran, meningkatkan layanan, dan meng-upgrade produk. Untuk dapat mengatasi keluhan tersebut, Tentunya suatu perusahaan perlu membuat strategi atau langkah-langkah untuk dapat mengatasi penanganan pengaduan dari pelanggan yang mengeluh akan pelayanan bank yang tidak sesuai. Pengaduan penanganan jika dikelola baik dan efektif tentu memberi kesempatan bisa merubah seorang pelanggan yang menjadi loyal, dan kemampuan bank dalam menangani aduan yang dihadapi oleh pelanggan dapat menentukan kejayaan sebuah perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang layanan dan jasa.

Abstract

The English material has not met the needs of students and was created with the lecturer in mind. This study analyzes the English language needs of students majoring in Islam (ushuluddin) at the State Islamic University of North Sumatera, Indonesia. This study applied a qualitative descriptive research method to explore student perspectives on ESP courses. The research data was obtained through interviews and data collection of material documentation. The findings in this study proved that students who learned ESP need good material and can apply the results at the end of the lesson. Besides, what they have learned so far was the obtained course in high school, so it was not so difficult to understand. Hence, the language skills they command must be fulfilled from listening, speaking, reading, and writing to support their insights with Islamic foundations and majors. In sum, the materials of ESP should be formulated by practitioners of English for Specific Purposes (ESP) who know ESP instruction, and the aim of ESP might concern the improvements in students' proficiency in English. Thus, the students are better academically and professionally in the work domain.

Abstract

Turn-taking strategy is considered as an important strategy in online learning, especially when the learning is utilizing zoom application. The main objective of this study was to explore students’ perceptions of using turn-taking strategy using during the video conferencing to boost students’ confidence in speaking English. The study involved ten Islamic high school students in Medan. They were selected purposively to be interviewed. Following Miles and Huberman (2014), the data analysis procedure involved data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study showed that teacher regarded his students’ confidence increased during the learning through video conference. The results also revealed that the students also feel the same way as the teacher does. This happened because of lack of anxiety which can be seen by the way students behave when they were in zoom video conference. The findings implied that turn-taking strategy can be regarded as one appropriate strategy to be used during online learning through video conference application to help students’ confidence in speaking English.

Abstract

The critical objective of this present study is to conduct substantial evaluation of TOEFL as a language assessment tool. Using a qualitative method, the authors of the present study evaluated various specific issues based on a set of predetermined criteria such as practicality, test reliability, validity, authenticity, and washback impact. The analysis indicates that TEOFL ITP is both feasible and dependable. The TOEFL's dependability is based on these three components. However, unless the ITP test is altered from the previously used TOEFL, the TOEFL ITP is as reliable as the TOEFL PBT. In theory, its trustworthiness is uncertain, and more investigation is needed. It is debatable whether the TOEFL ITP test items can accurately represent this task when utilized for the placement test. TOEFL ITP is a reliable English test. Knowing the TOEFL significance encourages test takers to enhance their English skills as part of the exam. More students want to take lessons to enhance their grades.

Abstract

In the digital age, consumers increasingly rely on the internet and social platforms for media. One emerging phenomenon is electronic word of mouth . This refers to sharing information and reviews about products and services offered by individuals through online platforms. The purpose of this study was to find out how product quality and electronic word-of-mouth affect consumers' desire to buy Azarine skin care products. Using quantitative methodology The study population is women in the city of Medan. A sample of 100 respondents was taken using the Slovin formula and the purposive sampling method to select respondents who met the specified criteria. Multiple linear regression was used to analyze the data with SPSS 26. These findings show that the electronic word of mouth variable shows that there is a positive and significant influence on the purchase decisions of Azarine skin care products, and the product quality variable shows a positive and significant influence. a significant influence between product quality variables on purchase intent, so that electronic word of mouth and product quality simultaneously have a significant effect on purchase decisions of Azarine skin care products in the city of Medan. Electronic word of mouth and product quality are also important factors in consumer purchasing decisions. Consumers look for products that can meet their needs and expectations.
