Abstract

AbstractThis research is motivated by the existence of speculation of students in answering the true-false type of questions. The purpose of this study was to develop questions true-false type in consept of physics  on work and simple machines in class VIII SMP which can minimize speculation. This research and development uses a Research & Development (R & D) model from SivasailamThiagarajan, Dorothy S. Semmel, and Melvyn I. Semmel consisting of 4 main drums determined (defining), design (design), development (development), and spread (spread). Data collection was obtained through interviews, questionnaire instruments and student grades. The results of validation by evaluation experts and material through questionnaires obtained an average percentage of 92.5% with a valid category. And from the results of trying to 32 students, the questions developed can minimize student speculation in answering questions. Thus, a class that uses the form of B-S questions that are equipped with Y-TY options can measure students more objectively than the B-S type questions without Y-TY choices.AbstrakPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya spekulasi siswa dalam menjawab soal objektif tipe benar-salah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan soal objektif  tipe benar-salah dalam penilaian kelas materi fisika usaha dan pesawat sederhana pada siswa kelas VIII SMP  yang dapat meminimalisir spekulasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan model research & development (R&D) dari Sivasailam Thiagarajan, Dorothy S. Semmel, dan Melvyn I. Semmel (1974) yang terdiri dari 4 tahap utama yaitu define (pendefinisian), design (perancangan), develop (pengembangan), dan disseminate (penyebaran). Data penelitian diperoleh melalui teknik wawancara, instrumen angket, dan nilai siswa. Validasi instrumen oleh pakar evaluasi dan pakar materi melalui instrumen angket diperoleh rerata persentase sebesar 92,5% dengan kategori valid. Data nilai siswa dari hasil uji coba kepada 32 siswa, soal yang dikembangkan dapat meminimalisir spekulasi siswa dalam menjawab soal. Dengan demikian penilaian kelas yang  menggunakan bentuk soal tipe B-S yang dilengkapi dengan pilihan Y-TY dapat mengukur pemahaman siswa secara lebih objektif dibandingkan dengan bentuk Soal tipe B-S tanpa pilihan Y-TY.

Abstract

A very urgent problem in Manado's RAPI High School is the management of school principals specifically covering: setting vision and mission, goals, work programs, and implementing school programs, carrying out supervision and monitoring, and evaluating work programs. The management of learning by teachers includes: the preparation of learning plans, the implementation and assessment of learning, and carrying out classroom action research. Through community service activities with the provision of technical management guidance to school principals and management of learning to teachers, it is expected to increase the ability of school principals and teachers. The Principal is able to compile the vision and mission of the school, compile or formulate school goals, compile school work programs and develop work programs for school principals. The teachers have also demonstrated the ability to carry out learning evaluations and are able to prepare CAR proposals. Through this activity it can be concluded that the activity participants can improve their management abilities, and the ability to manage learning in RAPI Manado High Schools.AbstrakPermasalahan yang sangat urgen pada SMA Rapi Manado adalah manajemen kepala sekolah secara spesifik meliputi: penetapan visi dan misi, tujuan, program kerja, dan pelaksanaan program sekolah, melaksanakan supervisi dan monitoring, dan mengevaluasi program kerja. Pengelolaan pembelajaran oleh guru meliputi: penyusunan perencanaan pembelajaran, pelaksanaan dan penilaian pembelajaran, serta melaksanakan penelitian tindakan kelas. Melalui kegiatan pengabdian dengan metode pemberian bimbingan teknis manajemen kepada kepala sekolah maupun pengelolaan pembelajaran kepada para guru maka diharapkan peningkatan kemampuan Kepala Sekolah dan Guru. Kepala Sekolah mampu menyusun visi dan misi sekolah, menyusun /merumuskan tujuan sekolah, menyusun program kerja sekolah dan menyusun program kerja kepala sekolah. Para guru juga telah memperlihatkan kemampuan dalam melaksanakan evaluasi pembelajaran serta mampu menyusun proposal PTK. Melalui Kegiatan ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa para peserta kegiatan (Kepala Sekolah dan guru-guru SMA Rapi Manado) dapat meningkatkan kemampuan manajemennya, dan kemampuan mengelola pembelajaran di SMA Rapi Manado.

Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes using the Kinemaster and Quizziz applications using classroom action research methodology. In the current coronavirus disease 2019 pandemic situation and the very rapid development of ICT, learning physics using the Kinemaster and Quizziz applications can be one of the learning media that can be used in the teaching and learning process of physics to improve student learning outcomes by creating a pleasant learning atmosphere. This study uses the Class Action Research (CAR) method for students of class X MIPA II SMA Negeri 2 Langowan. With the number of students 19 people. The results of the evaluation of teaching and learning activities at the stage of the first cycle showed the value of classical X MIPA II students' learning outcomes that was 100%, where there was only 1 student whose learning outcomes were categorized as moderate, 8 students whose learning outcomes were categorized as high and 10 students whose learning outcomes were categorized very high. The results of the research obtained in the learning process using the Kinemaster and Quizziz applications on the material of straight motion can improve the learning outcomes of students of class X MIPA II at SMA Negeri 2 Langowan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Problem Based Learning (PBL) with environmental utilization in improving student learning outcomes. The research method used is the experimental method, with the design, “One Group Pretest-Posttest” research. This research was conducted in three stages. The first stage is giving a pretest to measure students' initial abilities. The second stage is to provide treatment, namely Problem Based Learning with environmental utilization. And in the third stage, giving a posttest as an evaluation. The subjects of this study were X MIA 1 students of SMA Negeri 1 Tondano in the 2021/2022 school year. The results of data analysis obtained the average pretest score was 42.16 and the posttest score was 79.5. The results of hypothesis testing using the Paired Sample Test t-test obtained a sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000 <0.05. the data shows that there is an effect of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model on Newton's material with environmental utilization on learning outcomes. It can be concluded that the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model with environmental utilization can improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Effect of Quizizz Media in physics learning on student learning outcomes in Momentum and Impulse material. The research method used in this study is quasi-experimental with Nonequivalent Control Group Design, namely research conducted in two classes, namely the experimental class and the control class. Research data were collected using test instruments in the form of essay test questions and data analysis techniques in the form of normality tests, homogeneity and hypothesis tests. The results of the study showed that; 1) From the results of the Quizizz learning media application process, there was a difference between the pretest and posttest scores where the posttest score was better, meaning that there was an increase after being treated; 2) A significant difference between the average posttest results of the experimental and control classes, the learning outcomes of students in the experimental class using Quizizz media obtained an average final test (posttest) of 83.87, while the control class using conventional methods obtained an average posttest of 65.96. Based on the average posttest results, learning using Quizizz media in its learning process has better results. Then a statistical analysis was carried out in the form of a t-test analysis (Independent sample t-test) obtained a sig. value (2-tailed) of 0.000 <0.05 so that H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the Quizizz learning media has an effect on improving student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Guided inquiry encourages students actively identify problems, create hypotheses, conduct experiments, analyze data, and draw conclusions. Tracker helps students understand physics concepts by analyzing objects in parabolic motion, and visualizing relation between variables through graphs and tables. This study aimed to examine effect of guided inquiry model with Tracker on high school students’ learning outcomes in parabolic motion. The method used Quasi-Experiment with pretest-posttest control group design. The population is 11th-grade students at SMA Negeri 1 Kawangkoan Barat with samples experimental class XI A and control class XI B.The test instruments included multiple-choice and essay questions. After treatment, the experimental class's average score showed significant increase 54 to 81, higher than control class 50.75 to 66.25. Hypothesis testing (SPSS) led to rejected H0 and H1 accepted. Its concluded that guided inquiry with Tracker positively affects learning outcomes by boosting student engagement and comprehension.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of implementing the Tracker application-based Project Based Learning (PjBL) model on improving student learning outcomes in free fall motion material. This study is based on the lack of use of technology-based learning media in physics learning, as well as low student active involvement in the learning process. The method used is a quasi-experiment with a pretest-posttest control group design. The research subjects were 11th grade students at SMA Negeri 1 Tondano, consisting of two classes, namely the experimental class and the control class. The results showed a significant increase in student learning outcomes in the experimental class compared to the control class. The average post-test scores of students in the experimental class were higher than those in the control class. The use of the Tracker application was effective in helping students understand the concept of free fall motion through video and graphic analysis. Based on statistical tests (t-tests), a significance value of less than 0.05 was obtained, indicating that there was a significant difference in learning outcomes between the two classes.
