Abstract

The handling of slum areas in Banjarmasin City uses more restoration patterns than renewal and resettlement patterns, and is carried out on land locations only, while riverbank slums are more directed towards rejuvenation and relocation patterns. Evaluation of riverbank space after the arrangement of slum areas in Banjarmasin City, South Kalimantan Province needs to be done in order to analyze the planning principles of handling riverbank slum areas after the implementation/arrangement process and see what factors can determine the success of the handling. Data collection techniques were carried out by literature review, field observations/observations, interviews/FGDs, and distributing questionnaires/digital questionnaires (google form). The sample selection technique used was purposive sampling. The data analysis method used is qualitative and quantitative, which combines descriptive research and percentage numbers. The findings were obtained in the form of analysis of planning principles in the form of slum handling indicators, the level of collaboration of basic elements of slum handling stakeholders and the extent of public/open space in the handling area. then this research also produces factors that determine the success of handling in the form of the level of community satisfaction by utilizing well-operational development infrastructure.

Abstract

The current development of information technology infrastructure has positively impacted the ease with which people can carry out work activities physically and creatively. Artificial intelligence, which is currently starting to penetrate the world of visual design and architecture, is starting to develop from integrating design methods to methods of presenting or communicating architecture. In this study, aspects of artificial intelligence are used as a pre-design method, which is considered to help speed up decisions in design communication. The problem raised in this study is how optimal the involvement of computing and artificial intelligence is in providing pre-design considerations in the case of simple residential houses, especially in the analysis, space, and visual aspects. This study aims to obtain the methods and influence of computing and artificial intelligence in formulating pre-designs and generating understanding regarding the methods of their use. Several analysis tools are used for the spatial approach: the space syntax using DepthmapX software, solar analysis using the Shadedat plugin, and the visual shape of the building using Stable Diffusion. This research uses an experimental approach to obtain the desired design results. This study's findings explain that applying appropriate computational and artificial intelligence methods will produce an effective and efficient design process. With the correct sequence, it will have a measurable design process that can be assessed well.

Abstract

Guest house is a building built for accommodation purposes. The main problem in designing the Huma Betang Indah Guest House in Buntok is how the building can harmonize with nature through dayak culture which is comfortable for the guest. With the direct analogy approach as a design method, the design of this guest house has an object of observation in the form of a rumah betang. Rumah betang is a traditional Dayak tribe house that has strong ties with nature. Thus to apply the principles of rumah betang to the guest house the concept of Analogy architecture is used. A guest house that can provide new experiences for guests by providing various natural elements in it.

Based on the background of the problems raised from this report, namely how to realize the design of a Futsal Arena (Indoor) Type C equivalent that is creative and has a profit in the district of Upau. The method used to solve this problem is the design method is a method of solving problems with programmatic concepts. The design method is the answer to a problem that will encompass the needs in a building. By focusing on space, shape, function, construction.

Abstract

The Design of Fashion Schools in Banjarmasin is in the background by the rapid increase of fashion needs. Some potential young designers in Indonesia also show that fashion products in Indonesia have a great potential. However, in South Kalimantan, especially Banjarmasin, does not yet have a Fashion Design high school, it makes the local people who want to become a fashion designer must study outside the island of Kalimantan. With the existence of a fashion school in Banjarmasin, it is expected that Banjarmasin and the surrounding communities who have aspirations to become a Fashion Designer or want to know about what is Fashion Design. So, the fashion design school in Banjarmasin can give birth to new designers who can trigger the fashion industry in Indonesia, especially in Banjarmasin. In this design, the researcher uses the concept of Expressionist Architecture as an answer to the research problems in the design of this school.

Abstract

Banjarmasin as the capital city of South Kalimantan currently has excellent economic growth potential. The potential is utilized by the government with the Banjarbakula Metropolitan Area program that unites Banjarmasin - Banjarbaru - Banjar Regency - Barito Kuala Regency - Tanah Laut Regency into one national strategic area. To realize this Metropolitan Area program, transportation facilities such as terminals that can accommodate various modes of transportation are needed for better accessibility between cities or regencies, especially Barito Kuala Regency. However, terminals are often to have some problems such as conflicting circulation either human circulation or vehicle circulation as well as less integrated function. To solve that problem, Alalak Type B Terminal using Connectivity concept that focus on good connectivity on circulation and accessibility. To combine these connectivity, superimposition methods are eventually used to integrate various circulation as well as function into one whole unit to create well-organized circulation without conflict and with integrated function.

The program concept has two main principles, namelyexperience space, which relies on visual actors on physical properties and collaborative spaceprinciples. Conceptual methods and principles will lead to designs with a non-monotonous impressionof space and encourage actors to be creative and collaborative through spatial experience.

Abstract

Central Kalimantan is a province that has a lot of diverse characteristics, one of the characteristics of Central Kalimantan is the processed foods made from kelakai. There are many people who interested to this type of ferns. Beside that, there are also many manufacturers of the processed foods. However, not infrequently there are still many who don't know about kelakai as a characteristic of Central Kalimantan. Therefore, Kelakai Agrotourism in Palangkaraya is a form of solution to this problem, to introduce kelakai as a characteristic of Central Kalimantan and as a distribution platform for manufacturers of processed kelakai foods in order to further advance MSMEs, especially in Palangkaraya as the provincial capital of Central Kalimantan. To realize the design goals, this Agrotourism has two aspects of objectives, they are educative and participatory, as a form of providing knowledge to the community accompanied by concrete actions (participation). To realize the design with this goal, it is necessary to use the concept of Metaphor Architecture as an introduction and education through a form of adaptation. To realize this agrotourism design, an introduction is needed for the Palangkaraya area where most of the soil texture here is of peat soil type, which means it requires a special strategy for development. To solve this problem, the method that can be used is the Ecological Architecture approach. Ecological Architecture is an architectural approach that promotes environmental preservation without changing its original form.To combine the two principles above, this Agrotourism design uses the Metaphor-Ecological concept where this concept is a form of metaphoric architecture and ecological architecture that synergizes into a concept with visual and functional aspects as it's embodiment.
