Abstract

This study aimed to analyze and describe the seventh-grade junior high school students’ mathematical understanding ability on comparison material using Microsoft Teams application during the covid-19 pandemic. This study employed a qualitative descriptive. The sampling technique used was the purposive random sampling technique. Subjects of this research were 35 students of class VII F SMP Negeri 1 Cilegon. The results show that student’s mathematical understanding using Microsoft Teams application during the covid-19 pandemic ability is 68% at high level category and 32% at low level category. Microsoft Teams is highly recommended for online learning in time of this pandemic.

Abstract

In learning mathematics, students' affective abilities are also important to pay attention to in achieving learning goals. The affective ability referred to is the perception and independence of student learning. This study aims to obtain information: (1) knowing there are differences in perceptions between students in class XI and XII IPA on online learning (2) knowing that there are differences in perceptions between male students and female students regarding online learning (3) knowing there are differences in learning independence Between class XI and XII IPA students on online learning (4) there are differences in learning independence between male students and female students towards online learning. This research is a descriptive quantitative research. The research subjects were 231 respondents. Data collection using a questionnaire instrument to collect data on students' perceptions and learning independence. Based on the calculation results, the average percentage of students' perceptions of online learning was 38.44%. This means that almost half of students have a perception of learning mathematics using an online model. While the average percentage of students' learning independence was 46.96%. This means that almost half of the students are independent in learning mathematics. The results of the calculation of the Mann Whitney test show that (1) the significant value is 0.0055, so there is a difference in perceptions between class XI and XII IPA students on online learning (2) the Sig value is 0.095, so there is no difference in the perception of male students and female students towards online learning. (3) the Sig value is 0.095, so it can be concluded that there is no difference in independence between class XI and XII IPA students on online learning (4) the Sig value is 0.162, so there is no difference in independence between male students and female students on online learning

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh sangat rendahnya kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis pada materi aljabar. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut maka dianalisis kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis peserta didik pada materi aljabar kelas VII. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Cilegon. Intrumen yang digunakan adalah instrumen tes pemahaman konsep matematis dan pedoman wawancara. Berdasarkan hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis peserta didik dengan kategori tinggi dengan presentase 6,67%, kategori sedang dengan presentase 26,67%, rendah 1dengan presentase 6,66% dan sangat rendah dengan presentase 50%. Kesimpulan penelitian ini kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis peserta didik masih berada dikategori sangat rendah. Kata kunci: Pemahaman konsep, Aljabar

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan, mengetahui penilaian dan mengetahui respon guru dan peserta didik terhadap baruda menggunakan kodular untuk pembelajaran dengan pendekatan problem solving pada materi bangun ruang sisi datar SMP. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (R&D) dengan prosedur pengembangan Tessmer. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa skala likert dengan lima pilihan yang digunakan untuk mengetahui kevalidan serta respon siswa dan guru. Analisis data yang dilakukan yaitu mengumpulkan data kualitatif dari ahli media, ahli pendidikan, guru matematika dan siswa. Hasil penelitian ini berupa : 1) Pengembangan baruda menggunakan kodular untuk pembelajaran dengan pendekatan problem solving pada materi bangun ruang sisi datar SMP. 2) Penilaian Kevalidan aplikasi baruda memperoleh persentase 77% dari ahli media dan 84% dari ahli pendidikan sehingga baruda dalam kriteria cukup valid. 3) Penilaian respon guru matematika memperoleh persentase 90% atau sangat baik. Sedangkan respon siswa pada tahap one-to-one memperoleh 87% serta pada tahap small group dan field test memperoleh  84% atau sangat baik.

Abstract

The use of the module can help overcome misconception and can help students learn to independently. With the advent of the technology, A printed book slowly eleminated because all the information can be acquired by a smartphone. Resulting in reading interest students declining. It is therefore, needed material of teaching interactive module with easly language undersanable students and packed in the pack interesting, So as to attract students interest in reading. Interactive module will be made based on the android to join the habit of students who obtain information use android. This research aimed at producing and develop materials of teaching electronic module based on the android subject of matriks. The research method used is Research and Development (RnD) that involved seven steps: 1) Need Analysis, 2) Researcher as Developer Capability, 3) Product to be Developed, 4) Concept of the Product, 5) Development of the Product, 6)Experts Judgements, 7) Field Testing in Natural Setting Environment. Expert judgements has been done by Technology Experts, Mathematical Education Experts, and Mathematics Experts, has showed that electronic module is receivable to be tested to the student MAN 2 Cilegon who have studied matriks. Field testing is done by the 15 student got the percentage rating 82,28%. From the result of the field testing, the electronic module are in state of very good category based on student’ assessment.

Abstract

The learning process at school will get results that are in accordance with educational goals, including being influenced by Adversity Quotient (AQ) or the intelligence of overcoming difficulties and obstacles in the learning process. AQ is one of the elements that can affect independence, motivation and learning outcomes in mathematics.This type of research is a survey research with a quantitative approach to determine the structural equation model related to the Adversity Quotient variable on the independence, motivation, and mathematics learning outcomes of high school students. This research was carried out in five public high schools in semester 2 of the 2021-2022 academic year. . To obtain complete and accurate data in this study, the data collection technique carried out by the researcher is the questionnaire method (questionnaire).The results of the study revealed that the structural equation model obtained had a coefficient of determination of 88.5%, meaning that the influence of the adversity quotient on independence, motivation, and mathematics learning outcomes was 88.50%, while the remaining 11.5% was explained by other factors. In addition, there is a positive and significant influence on learning independence with a contribution of 94.1% means that it has a positive and significant influence on independent learning. The influence of the adversity quotient on learning motivation is 94.3%, meaning that it has a positive and significant influence on learning motivation. And obtained a positive and significant influence between the adversity quotient on learning outcomes 31.4%, meaning that it has a positive and significant contribution to learning outcomes.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yang disebabkan karena bahan ajar guru kurang membantu dalam pengembangan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa dan tampilan pada bahan ajar yang digunakan kurang menarik mengakibatkan siswa menjadi jenuh dan bosan dalam proses pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan pengembangan E-LKPD berbasis kooperatif learning untuk meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 1 Pabuaran dengan subjek penelitian kelas VIII berjumlah 30 siswa. Hasil uji kelayakan ahli materi diperoleh nilai 75% dan hasil ahli media diperoleh nilai 82%, sehingga didapat kriteria sangat layak. Hasil uji kepraktisan dari respon guru diperoleh nilai 88,67% dan hasil dari respon siswa diperoleh nilai 81%, sehingga didapat kriteria sangat praktis. Hasil uji keefektivan dengan menggunakan N-Gain untuk mengukur peningkatan siswa setelah menggunakan produk yang dikembangkan terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa diperoleh sebesar 67% dengan kriteria cukup efektif. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, produk yang dikembangkan memenuhi kriteria layak, praktis dan efektif untuk digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the extent of citizen involvement in political activities and socialisation in everyday life and how to implement it. This article uses a literature study type of research where previous research that has been collected will be compiled, analysed and then concluded so as to get observations about the material under study. The conclusion of this research includes all Indonesian citizens who participate in political practices and socialisation in every daily activity, one of which is by using a case-based learning system, and how teenagers use social media responsibly, then ordinary people who involve themselves with democracy through voting and expressing their opinions wisely in accordance with the teachings of Civic Education and Pancasila.
