Abstract

Based on Bappenas's goal to enhance human resource competitiveness, teachers are expected to train students in technology mastery, work ethics, attitudes, innovation, and creativity. To address this challenge, accessible technology and new strategies are needed to allow teachers more time to develop students' competencies. This research aims to develop the TARM website using the flipped-classroom learning concept, evaluated based on validity, practicality, and effectiveness criteria. The development process follows the ADDIE model. Based on the analysis results, the curriculum used is the "Merdeka Curriculum", and students struggle to focus during lecture-based methods but are active during assignments.. All students have gadgets and internet access. On this research, the TARM website was tested to support learning materials on Arc Length, Sector Area, Segment Area, Central Angle, and Inscribed Angle. TARM is developed using the Laravel framework, based on the storyboard and flowchart created. Validation results showed the website was rated highly valid by media experts with a score of 3.27 and valid by subject matter experts with a score of 2.89. The trial process involved 31 students from XI grade of Senior High School, including pre-tests, summarizing learning materials from videos outside the classroom, Q&A sessions, quizzes, exercises, post-tests, and student response surveys. The results show that the TARM website is considered practical, with a mode percentage of "Yes" responses reaching 100% across all indicators and a student survey score of 87%. The website is deemed effective with an average N-Gain score of 0.7 in the medium category. Based on the research results, the TARM website can be used in mathematics learning espescially on highschool student.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the process of developing MONOPEKS learning media on exponential material for class X SMA and the results of its development in terms of valid, practical and effective criteria. This research refers to the ADDIE development model which consists of 5 stages, namely the analysis stage focuses on defining instructional problems, learning goals and objectives, the design stage of the initial preparation of media designs and determining assessment instruments, the development stage of the process of making media and validating media, materials and pre-test and post-test by two validators, the implementation stage was tested on 18 class X students of SMA Negeri 1 Puri in Mojokerto, and the evaluation stage was based on research results, the learning media developed met valid criteria based on the results of the overall percentage validation by media experts 84 .4% and 82.5% material from the range of 0% - 100%, so that this media is included in the valid category. This learning media is said to be practical based on the results of filling in the student response questionnaire showing that the average overall score obtained is 93.56% from the range 0% - 100%, so that this media is included in the positive category. This learning media also meets the criteria for effectiveness based on the pre-test and post-test values which are analyzed using the N-gain formula and the results show an average overall score of 0.8096 with effective criteria.

Abstract

This research aims to develop and test the feasibility of ICT-based X-Pirate learning media on Single Variable Linear Equations (SVLE) material to increase students' interest, motivation, and learning outcomes. The development used the ADDIE model with 29 eighth-grade students as subjects. The validation results showed that the X-Pirate media was highly valid, with a score of 98% from media experts and 90% from subject matter experts. The media was also considered highly practical, as evidenced by the 86.75% implementation rate, 80% teacher response rate, and 85% student response rate. The effectiveness of the media was demonstrated through improved learning outcomes with an N-Gain score of 0.46 in the moderate category. Overall, X-Pirate was declared valid, practical, and effective as ICT-based learning media for PLSV material.

Abstract

Metacognitive regulation is a crucial skill in mathematics learning as it plays a significant role in managing cognitive processes during problem-solving. This study aims to explore students’ patterns of metacognitive regulation in mathematical modeling based on masculine and feminine gender characteristics. The focus is directed toward how students plan, monitor, and evaluate their thinking while solving contextual problems related to systems of linear equations in two variables. This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach. The participants were purposively selected based on their psychological gender characteristics and equivalent mathematical abilities. Data were collected through questionnaires, tests, mathematical modeling tasks, and semi-structured interviews, then analyzed according to the stages of mathematical modeling. The findings reveal that the masculine male student demonstrated efficient metacognitive regulation strategies, with a focus on procedural accuracy and selective internal monitoring. He simplified the modeling process without sacrificing accuracy and showed confidence in validating his solutions. In contrast, the feminine female student exhibited reflective and comprehensive regulation patterns, with a strong focus on contextual understanding and layered validation processes. She constructed models systematically and performed repeated checks on alternative solutions. These findings highlight that gender characteristics contribute to differences in students’ metacognitive strategies during mathematical modeling. The results are expected to inform the development of instructional practices that are more responsive to students’ diverse cognitive approaches.

Abstract

Higher education institutions face challenges in both academic and non-academic fields due to dynamic environmental and regulatory changes. Universities must be adaptive through effective implementation of risk management (RM) to achieve organizational goals. The community service (PKM) partner in this program is the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) at the Islamic University of Lamongan (UNISLA), which is in the early stage of implementing RM. Based on the experience of the Internal Quality Assurance Agency (BPI) of Universitas Negeri Surabaya, a *knowledge-sharing* activity was conducted to enhance RM maturity at UNISLA. The aim of this program is to improve the partner’s ability and skills in applying RM effectively. The PKM program began in March 2025 and was carried out in four stages: preparation, material presentation, training and mentoring on risk identification, and evaluation. The activities took place from May 15 to September 26, 2025, involving 12 members of UNISLA’s quality assurance team. The results showed a significant improvement in RM understanding (p<0.001), with the average score increasing from 45.70 to 69.60. Participants were also able to complete the risk register, develop an organizational structure, and draft RM guidelines. Participants responded positively to the mentoring activities. The PKM outputs include an activity video, online media publication, intellectual property rights (IPR), a memorandum of understanding (MoU), and an article submitted to an international reputable journal. Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan berpikir reflektif siswa bergaya kognitif verbalizer dan visualizer dalam menyelesaikan masalah bangun ruang dengan subjek dua siswa kelas IX SMP. Data diperoleh melalui tugas dan wawancara berbasis tugas, lalu dianalisis melalui kondensasi, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa berpikir reflektif siswa dengan gaya kognitif verbalizer dalam menyelesaikan masalah bangun ruang ditunjukkan melalui pemahaman masalah berdasarkan kata kunci, klarifikasi istilah yang membingungkan, pengorganisasian informasi secara tekstual, pengembangan solusi dengan penalaran verbal, serta pengujian solusi melalui perbandingan hasil secara deskriptif. Sementara itu, berpikir reflektif siswa dengan gaya kognitif visualizer membangun ide awal melalui visualisasi dan gambar, mengatasi kebingungan dengan bantuan representasi visual, mengorganisasi informasi melalui gambar, mengembangkan solusi berdasarkan gambaran ruang, serta menguji solusi melalui perbandingan visual terhadap efisiensi ruang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pentingnya penggunaan representasi verbal dan visual dalam pembelajaran bangun ruang untuk mengembangkan berpikir reflektif siswa.

Abstract

The rapid and significant development of technology has brought about changes in the world of education. One example of technology that is currently developing is the Android-based smartphone. Advanced features such as the Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) have made smartphones multifunctional tools used by people of all ages, such as students who use them in their daily lives to play games or as a source of information in the learning process. There is an educational innovation that leverages technological advancements: Android-based educational game media for mathematics learning. This study aims to describe the development process of an educational game media titled “Snake Maze” as an educational innovation for algebra content and to describe the development process's outcomes evaluated based on validity, practicality, and effectiveness criteria. This study uses the ADDIE development model, which consists of five stages: Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate. In the analysis stage, needs analysis, curriculum analysis, and technology analysis were conducted. The design stage includes preparing educational game content, creating storyboards, developing teaching modules, designing pre-tests and post-tests, and research instruments. During the development stage, the educational game was created using Scratch and validated by media experts and subject matter experts. The implementation stage involved Class VII-A of MTs Raden Fatah Driyorejo. Finally, the evaluation stage was conducted to assess the educational game based on validity, practicality, and effectiveness. The results showed that the educational game met the validity criteria set by media experts and was highly valid according to subject matter experts. It also met the practicality criteria based on user response surveys and observation sheets, and achieved effectiveness criteria based on N-Gain scores from pre-test and post-test results. The educational game “Snake Maze” can be utilized as an innovative learning tool for algebra content.
