Abstract

The Purpose of  this study were to identify the type of endoparasite and to find out the prevalance of endoparasite infected digestive tract of Colossoma macropomum. The study was conducted at parasitology Laboratory of Veterinary Medicine Faculty, Syiah Kuala University in May - June 2015. The sample used were collected randomly. As many as 10% of total fish in a population. The exa mination of endoparasite were carried out using smear method. Parameter measured were prevalence and physic – chemical of water. The results showed that type of endoparasite found in digestive tract of Colossoma macropomum fish was Capillaria sp. with the prevalence of 15%. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengidentifikasi jenis endoparasit yang menginfeksi dan mengetahui prevalensi endoparasit yang menginfeksi saluran pencernaan ikan bawal air tawar. Penelitian dilakukan di Laboratorium Parasitologi Fakultas Kedokteran Hewan, Universitas Syiah Kuala pada Bulan Mei dan Juni 2015. Penelitian  menggunakan metode smear method  dan penyamplingan sampel dilakukan secara acak. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian sebanyak 10% dari total ikan dalam satu populasi. Parameter yang diukur yaitu prevalensi dan parameter fisika – kimia air. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jenis endoparasit  yang teridentifikasi pada ikan bawal air tawar adalah Capillaria sp. Nilai prevalensi yang diperoleh sebesar 15%.

Abstract

The objective of this research was to determine the effect of life feeds on the growth performance of pomfret (Colossoa macropomum)  larvae. Five life feed i.e. Pomacea canaliculata, Mysis relicta, Tubifex sp, Culex sp., and Daphnia sp. Were tested in this study. The research was conducted at the Laboratory of Aquatic, Veterinarary Faculty, Syiah Kuala University from April to May 2015. The completely randomized design wwith five treatments and four replications were used. The results showed that the life feeds has not gave the significant effect on the growth performance and the survival rate of C. macropomum juvenile. However, the higher growth and survival rates were found at fish fed on silk worm.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian pakan alami, Pomacea canaliculata, Mysis relicta, Tubifex sp, Culex sp, dan Daphnia sp terhadap pertumbuhan dan tingkat kelangsungan hidup benih ikan bawal air tawar (Colossoma macropomum). Penelitian dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Aquatik, Fakultas Kedokteran hewan Universitas Syiah Kuala, pada tanggal 15 April hingga 16 Mei 2015. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap dengan lima perlakuan dan empat ulangan. Perlakuan terdiri dari Pomacea canaliculata (A), Mysis relicta (B), Tubifex sp. (C), Culex sp (D). dan Daphnia sp. (E). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan pemberian pakan alami yang berbeda tidak berpegaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan dan kelangsungan hidup benih ikan bawal air tawar (C. macropomum). Namun demikian, pertumbuhan dan kelangsungan hidup yang lebih baik ditemukan pada pemberian cacing sutra

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat prevalensi dan intensitas benih ikan nila merah (Oreochromis niloticus) di UPTD BBI, Lukup Badak. Sebanyak 48 sampel ikan yang terkumpul diantaranya 16 terinfeksi parasit (12 ektoparasit dan 4 endoparasit). Pemeriksaan dilakukan di laboratorium BBI, Lukup Badak. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode preparat ulas (smear method); organ yang diamati adalah kulit, sirip dan insang. Pemeriksaan dan identifikasi parasit dilakukan menggunakan mikroskop. Hasil penelitian diperoleh beberapa jenis parasit antara lain; Ichthyopthirius multifiliis, Gyrodactylus spp., Gyrodactylus pp., Scypidia spp., Zoothamnium spp. dan Dactylogyrus spp. Hasil perhitungan menunjukkan prevalensi dan intensitas parasit berdasarkan organ nilai terbanyak terdapat pada sirip (prevalensi 27.1% dan intensitas 3.8 Ind/e). Prevalensi dan intensitas infeksi parasit berdasarkan kelas panjang tertinggi terdapat pada ukuran 2.8-3.86 cm, dengan hasil perhitungan menunjukkan pada endoparasit (prevalensi 8.3% dan intensitas 9.3 ind/e) sedangkan pada endoparasit (prevalensi 8.33% dan intensitas 0.25 ind/e).

White snapper Lates calcarifer is one of the marine fish commodities that has important economic value. The addition of immunostimulant ingredients in feed is believed to increase immunity and increase fish growth. This study aims to determine the effect of adding β-glucan to feed on white snapper (Lates calcarifer). This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of 5 treatments with 3 repetitions. White snapper used with a weight of ± 6 grams and a length of ± 7. The frequency of feeding is done 3 times a day. The results of the ANOVA test showed that the addition of β-glucan in the feed significantly affected the growth rate of the fry of white snapper (Lates calcarifer) (P0.05). The best treatment in this study was treatment E (commercial feed + β-glucan 8g/kg feed) which gave the best growth in White snapper where this treatment was able to increase absolute weight (4.51 ± 0.29), absolute length (4 .84 ± 0.284), specific growth rate (2.09 ± 0.15), FCR (1.00 ± 1.00), feed utilization efficiency (97.42 ± 0.50) and survival (100.00 ± 0.00).

Abstract

Pakan merupakan faktor penting dalam menunjang keberhasilan dalam kegiatan usaha budidaya. Penyediaan pakan yang tidak sesuai dengan jumlah dan kualitas yang dibutuhkan menyebabkan laju pertumbuhan ikan menjadi terhambat. Pemberian suplemen herbal yang berasal dari alam yaitu jahe, dapat meningkatkan daya tahantubuh terhadap serangan penyakit, melancarkan sistem pencernaan, menghemat dalam penggunaan pakan dan meningkatkan nafsu makan ikan nila. Penambahan suplemen herbal ke dalam pakan yaitu melalui fermentasi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian fermentasi jahe pada pakan untuk meningkatkanpertumbuhan dan kelangsungan hidup ikan nila (Oreochromis niloticus). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan selama 40 hari dari bulan April - Juni 2022. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri dari 4 perlakuan dan 5 pengulangan. Terdiri dari perlakuan A (kontrol), perlakuan B (5 ml fermentasi jahe/100gr pakan), perlakuan C (7,5 ml fermentasi jahe/100gr pakan), dan perlakuan D (10 ml fermentasi jahe/100gr pakan). Parameter yang diamati yaitu pertumbuhan berat mutlak, laju pertumbuhan spesifik, rasio konversi pakan, efesiensi pakan, dankelangsungan hidup ikan nila. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penambahan fermentasi jahe (Zingiber officinale) dalam pakan ikan nila (Oreochromis niloticus) tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan (P0,05) terhadap pertumbuhan berat dan laju pertumbuhan spesifik, tetapi berpengaruh nyata (P0,05) terhadap rasio konversi pakan,efesiensi pakan, dan kelangsungan hidup ikan nila. Nilai penambahan fermentasi jahe dalam pakan sebesar 10 ml/100 gram pakan menghasilkan pertumbuhan bobot tertinggi.Kata kunci : Pakan, Fermentasi jahe, Ikan Nila, pertumbuhan.

Abstract

Lobster merupakan sumber daya perikanan memiliki nilai ekonomi yang tinggi. Di antara beberapa spesies lobster, Panulirus versicolor dan Panulirus homarus memiliki keunggulan karena dipilih sebagai cikal bakal budidaya. Ini ada hubungannya dengan permintaan pasar, harga tinggi dan ketersediaan benih di alam. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk identifikasi dan prevalensi ektoparasit pada Lobster Bambu (Panulirus versicolor) dan Lobster Pasir (Panulirus homarus) yang dilalulintaskan melalui Bandara Sultan Iskandar Muda, Aceh.Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan September – Oktober 2022, bertepatan di Laboratorium Parasit Stasiun Karantina Ikan, Pengendalian Mutu dan Keamanan Hasil Perikanan (SKIPM), Blang Bintang, Aceh Besar. Penelitian ini menggunakan Teknik pengambilan sampel secara random sampling yaitu dilakukan di bulan September dan Oktober untuk jenis yang dilalulintaskan yaitu lobster bambu dan lobster pasir. Sampel dipilih melalui pemeriksaan fisik dan klinis terlebih dahulu lalu diperiksa secara laboratory di Laboratorium Stasiun KIPM Aceh untuk di identifikasi jenis parasitnya. Hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan di SKIPM ditemukan jenis parasit Octolasmis sp. dengan tingkat prevalensi serangan ektoparasit pada lobster bambu (Panulirus versicolor) sebesar 0,66% dengan kategori prevalensi sangat jarang dan lobster pasir (Panulirus Homarus) sebesar 0,6% dengan kategori prevalensi sangat jarang, sedangkan untuk tingkat intensitas serangan ektoparasit pada lobster bambu (Panulirus versicolor) sebesar 4 dengan kategori rendah dan untuk intensitas pada lobster pasir (Panulirus Homarus) 4,5 dengan kategori rendah. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan di SKIPM, Aceh Besar ditemukan parasit jenis Octolasmis sp. pada lobster Panulirus versicolor dan Panulirus Homarus yang dilalulintaskan.

Abstract

Beureunut is one of the villages in Mukim Lampanah, Seulimeum ​​District, Aceh Besar Regency. This village is close to the coast and is flowed by a river which has become an eel breeding location. The potential of Beureunut Village can be an opportunity to develop the Aquascape business. The potential in the form of small fish that can be used as ornamental fish and freshwater plants that can be obtained from rivers requires innovation so that it can be further developed so that it has added value and high selling value. This service activity aims to provide knowledge and skills about Aquascape entrepreneurship to the Beurenut village community which can become economic potential in the future. This activity will be carried out in September 2022 using the methods of counseling, training and assistance in making Aquascape. The results obtained were that the participants were very active and enthusiastic in participating in this activity and the evaluation showed a change in knowledge of up to 90% compared to before participating in this training. Therefore, it is hoped that consistent assistance and supervision is needed so that this activity can be carried out independently and become a potential income for the community in the future.

Abstract

This training aims to increase the knowledge of vaname shrimp farmers in Lenyeun Village, Leupung, Aceh Besar in rearing using bofolx tarpaulin. The focus is on basic cultivation principles, quality seeds, water management, feeding, and pond environment. The training involves lectures, interactive discussions, and practice in the field. Participants have the opportunity to observe and participate in direct practicum. The hope is that they will be able to apply enlargement techniques and optimize bofolx tarpaulins in cultivation. The ultimate goal is to increase vaname shrimp production in the village, providing a positive impact on the economy and welfare of the local community.
