Abstract

The article is to examine several pieces of evidence from previous studies to understand higher education governance in the crisis-era related to the challenges of achieving equal distribution of education quality. Data collection involves searching for many published articles, including journals, books, magazines, and websites that discuss higher education governance issues regarding quality and opportunity. The data analysis involves a comprehensive evaluation data coding system, critical interpretation, and comprehensive and high decision making. The data search is done with the help of technology, especially online data sources using keywords such as the quality of higher education, equal opportunity. Based on the findings, explanations, and discussions, we can summarize that the governance of higher education in the crisis era faces various challenges related to equity and the achievement of high quality. When a crisis occurs, the changes are significant, and they cannot carry out various obligations and intellectual rights so that they ignore the quality and equity of higher education. Therefore, this study recommends that high fences be managed by emphasizing finding solutions to address the challenges of service quality and equity by following guidelines and regulations in force in many countries. It is hoped that this study will become an essential input to solve the challenges of higher education afflicted by various crises. Abstract

This study aims to develop online learning media for listening skill by using google form and google classroom which is tested in the course of listening skill for the first semester students. Type of the research used is Research & Development (R&D). The research instruments used were online developed tests, questionnaires, and expert validation sheets. The development used was the 4D development model (define, design, develop, and disseminate). At the disseminate stage it was not widely implemented because the product was only limited to students of the Indonesian Language Education Study Program, FKIP, Bengkulu University. The results showed that the development of online-based listening skills learning media using google form and google classroom was feasible for use by students of the Indonesian Language Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Bengkulu. This is indicated by the assessment based on the expert validation sheet at valid qualifications with an average of 4.00. The assessment based on the student response questionnaire is in very good qualification with an average of 3.22. Then, the assessment based on student test results is in good qualification with an average of 82.93.

Abstract

Belajar online merupakan tantangan pada saat pandemik Covid-19 karena belajar online membutuhkan profesionalitas dan kualitas guru. Pembelajaran berbasis online menjadi solusi di tengah wabah covid-19. Demi meningkatkan efektivitas dan efisiensi pembelajaran pada saat Covid-19 di SMKN 7 Kota Bengkulu perlu dikembangkan berbagai media pembelajaran yang kreatif dan inovatif berbasis online terutama menggunakan google form dan google classroom. Berdasarkan fenomena tersebut, tujuan pengabdian ini sebagai berikut. (1) Guru bisa menerapkan pembelajaran secara online dengan menggunakan google form dan google classroom; (2) Guru bisa menggunakan teknologi dalam mempublikasikan bahan ajar, selama ini guru mengajar secara konvensional yaitu harus dengan melakukan tatap muka; dan (3) Guru tidak lagi menggunakan kertas pada saat latihan atau ujian.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze why elementary school and college educators trust technology to achieve teaching and learning outcomes. To discuss in order to answer the problem comprehensively and with high validity, we have collected data with the help of technology in a database of academic works such as journals, books, proceedings, magazines, and digital era educational technology websites. This study relies on secondary data with a phenomenological approach, exploring the broadest data often done in descriptive qualitative studies of social sciences and humanities. Examples of databases that we are targeting are the publications of Sagepub, Elsevier, Taylor & Francis, Google Books, and ERIC, which we specifically focus on for the latest issues between 2015 and 2021. Based on the data, findings and discussions can be summarized, between educators at both basic education levels until universities rely on ways to improve learning outcomes on the advantages and benefits of technology because of the effectiveness, innovation, and productivity of technology compared to teaching methods before the emergence of today's technology. The results of this study are expected to assist in the development of future technology and education studies.

Abstract

Cases of sexual violence against children are increasing so that it is enough to attract public attention. Immoral acts come even from those closest to the child who do not understand sexual education. Children are likely to find it difficult to fight the deviant treatment that occurs because of the lack of sex education for teachers and parents. Counseling about sex education is expected to be able to overcome these problems. This service is carried out to the community with the aim of increasing and increasing the understanding of teachers and parents regarding the importance of sex education in early childhood. Besides providing information and knowing how to teach sex education in the right way. The service activity was carried out at Bengkulu University online on Thursday, November 4, 2021, involving teachers and parents of early childhood children in Kindergartens throughout the Carnation Cluster, Bengkulu City, Bengkulu Province, with a total of 120 people. Workshop activities are carried out with lectures, discussions and questions and answers according to the literature review to provide and increase understanding about sex education. The results of community service activities, namely based on the results of the evaluation of sex education socialization activities as an effort to prevent abuse against children for teachers and parents in the Carnation Cluster of Bengkulu City, it can be concluded that the activity went successfully according to plan. This can be seen from the high percentage of participants related to the usefulness of the activity and the convenience for participants in understanding the material and more than 70% of participants want this service activity to be carried out again. The conclusion from community service is that partners have an understanding of the importance of sex education from an early age and know how to teach sex education to children appropriately.

Abstract

Tujuan kegiatan PPM ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan guru mengenai pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis mobile learning berbantuan aplikasi canva. Metode yang digunakan pada kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah pelatihan dengan presentasi narasumber, tanya jawab, serta praktik pembuatan media pembelajaran. Instrumen yang digunakan pada pengabdian ini adalah angket dimana terdapat angket awal dan akhir untuk mengetahui tingkat pengetahuan guru atas materi yang disampaikan oleh tim pelaksana pengabdian, selain itu juga terdapat indikator keberhasilan dimana pengabdian dikatakan berhasil apabila total skor peserta adalah >70 poin. Hasil dari pelaksanaan pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan peserta pelatihan berdasarkan angket awal dan akhir yang tim sebarkan. Pengetahuan yang dimaksud berkaitan dengan proses pembuatan media pembelajaran berbasis mobile learning. Skor akhir yang diperoleh dari keseluruhan indikator adalah sebesar 80 poin artinya skor tersebut telah melampaui melampaui skor minimal. Dengan kata lain pelaksanaan pelatihan pembuatan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasisi mobile learning telah berhasil dilakukan. Selanjutnya para peserta pengabdian diharapkan dapat menyebarkan pengetahuan yang didapatkan mengenai pembuatan media pembelajaran berbasis mobile learning kepada para guru lainnya.

Abstract

(1) Guru bisa menerapkan pembelajaran secara online dengan menggunakan google form dan google classroom; (2) Guru bisa menggunakan teknologi dalam mempublikasikan bahan ajar, selama ini guru mengajar secara konvensional yaitu harus dengan melakukan tatap muka; dan (3) Guru tidak lagi menggunakan kertas pada saat latihan atau ujian.

Abstract

This development research aims to produce a product in the form of a picture story using augmented reality technology based on Bengkulu folklore with a focus on the Buayo Kuning folklore. It is hoped that the presence of folk tales transformed into regional language illustrated story discourse will attract young speakers to read and enjoy their local wisdom. The presence of augmented reality technology in picture books will provide an interactive, sophisticated and modern appearance in accordance with the interests of young speakers, namely students in regional literature courses. The method applied in this development research is R&D. Data collection on Bengkulu ethnic children's literature was carried out by interviewing, recording and noting relevant informants following standard principles of folklore collection. Apart from that, there is a product feasibility test by material experts, media experts, and user responses. The result of the validation implementation is the total average value obtained from the combined validation of material experts, media and users, namely 4.00. Based on the average score obtained, it can be concluded that the product that the researcher developed is suitable for use as an alternative learning media in increasing regional literary literacy for students based on their local wisdom.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran mata kuliah keterampilan dasar menulis secara online dengan memanfaatkan Canva yang akan diujicobakan pada mata kuliah keterampilan dasar menulis kepada mahasiswa semester dua. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research & Development (R&D). Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu materi pembelajaran dan tes yang dikembangkan secara online. Pengembangan yang digunakan adalah model pengembangan 4D (define, design, develop, dan disseminate). Pada penelitian ini tahap disseminate tidak dilaksanakan secara luas karena produk hanya terbatas penggunaannya kepada mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Indonesia FKIP Universitas Bengkulu. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dan pembahasan diperoleh simpulan sebagai berikut. Penilaian berdasarkan lembar validasi ahli berada pada kualifikasi valid dengan rata-rata 3,80. Penilaian berdasarkan kuesioner respon mahasiswa berada pada kualifikasi sangat baik dengan rata-rata 3,30. Penilaian berdasarkan hasil tes mahasiswa berada pada kualifikasi baik dengan rata-rata 84,24. Jadi, pengembangan media pembelajaran keterampilan dasar menulis berbasis online menggunakan Canva layak untuk dikembangkan di Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Indonesia Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Bengkulu.
