Abstract

One of the informal sectors that happening in urban areas is ‘pedagang kaki lima' (PKL) known for its contribution to reduce unemployment despite their existence are often raise urban planning problems. However, PKL should be given the opportunities by the government to increase their economic empowerment and competitiveness. The purpose of this study is to analyze personal characteristics and business profiles; family environment, internal and external environment of the business; and its influence on PKL entrepreneurial behavior. The research was conducted in Pekanbaru from March to December 2019. Respondents of the study are PKL street food totaling 131 people. The data is analyzed by using the Partial Least Square (PLS) method. The results showed that the average personal characteristics of PKL aged 36.93 years, level of education equivalent to high school with 5.27 years of business experience and average net income per day is Rp. 442,404 which 52.7 percent do not have any business license. The family environment and the internal business environment are considered "good" and support PKL. The external business environment, especially government support / policies (capital support, technology and empowerment) are still considered "not good" by PKL. Factors that have a significant influence on entrepreneurial behavior are: formal education factors, parents education method, family support, business financial analysis skills and government support / policy (access to business capital and empowerment).

Abstract

Kawasan wisata Benteng Keraton Buton merupakan salah satu objek wisata yang memberikan andil besar terhadap peningkatan wisatawan ke Kota Bau-Bau. Meningkatnya arus wisatawan ke Benteng Keraton Buton, berdampak pada peningkatan aktivitas pariwisata baik aktivitas dari wisatawan maupun aktivitas dari masyarakat sekitar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampak positif dan negatif sosial budaya objek wisata Benteng Keraton Buton terhadap masyarakat. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan responden sebanyak 60 orang yang terdiri dari 2 orang pegawai Dinas Kebudayaan dan Pariwisata, 10 orang dari Tokoh Masyarakat, dan 48 orang anggota masyarakat di Kecamatan Betoambari Kota Bau-Bau. Teknik pengumpulan data yangdigunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara, kuisoner, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: 1) dampak positif dari objek wisata Benteng Keraton Buton ini antara lain mendorong mendorong masyarakat untuk menjaga kebersihan lingkungan dan perbaikan lingkungan hidup, melestarikan kebudayaan tradisional, menjaga monumen atau situs peninggalan dan meningatkan tingkat pendidikan maupun pendidika pariwisata; dan 2) dampak negatif dari objek wisata Benteng Keraton Buton ini, yaitu meningkatnya penyimpangan sosial yang terjadi di masyarakat, dan perubahan gaya hidup, adanya perpindahan penduduk (migrasi) ke daerah tempat wisata, tingkat kenyamanan masyarakat yang menurun.

Abstract

The agriculture extension program can be developed effectively and efficiently by professional personal in agriculture extension field. The existing main problem is low quality and quantity of agri-extension workers (include in Kampar district, Riau province). Therefore, the goals of this research are: (1) To analyze: farmer characteristics; social system characteistics; agri-extension worker competencies; agri-extension worker performance to empower farmer and level of fulfill need for farmer’s capacity development in agribusiness; (2) To analyze determinant factors which influenze agri-extension worker performance to empowering farmer and (3) To formulate strategy to increase agri-extension worker performance to empower farmer. Through multistage cluster sampling technique, this research have found farmers sample with 180 person amoun (each of them consist of: 60 food crops farmers, 60 oil palm farmers and 60 rubber farmers). This research have been done from June 2007 up to October 2007. The analysis of data done by descriptive analysis and Path analysis. The research conclusion are: performance level of agri-extension worker to empower farmer still not yet good (“enough” category) because of the influence factor to the performance of agri-extension worker: agri-extension worker competencies (communication competency; competency in farmers learning and competency in social interaction); farmer characteristics ( farmer’s access to the non formal education) and social sistem support (soscio-cultural values; agribusiness facilitation by government institution and fartmer’s access to the aggribusiness institution) are still not yet (“enough” category).

Abstract

This study aims to analyze; (i) the influence of work mutation variables and organizational culture on employee performance; (ii) the influence of work mutation variables and organizational culture on performance through job satisfaction; and (iii) the effect of job satisfaction variables on employee performance. The quantitative approach is used to test and analyze the factors that influence job satisfaction and employee performance. Research location at Hasanuddin University, Makassar. The population in this study were all employees who had been mutation in 2018 by 114 people. Withdrawal the number of samples in this study using saturated sampling. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire. The measurement scale used is a Likert scale with five components. Data analysis techniques in this study used path analysis. The results showed that the variable of work mutation and organizational culture had a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Work mutation variables and organizational culture have a positive and significant effect on performance through job satisfaction. Job satisfaction variable has a positive and significant effect on employee performance.

Abstract

Mufrodat merupakan salah satu unsur penting dalam pendidikan bahasa arab. Tanpa penguasaan mufrodat yang baik dan benar, siswa akan merasa kesulitan dalam pembelajaran bahasa arab. Penelitian ini bertujuan adalah, a) Untuk mengetahui kemampuan pengucapan kosakata bahasa arab kelas VIII MTs Al-Ikhlas Donggo. b) mengetahui kesulitan atau kendala dalam pengucapan mufrodat kelas VIII MTs Al- Ikhlas Donggo. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif. Populasi seluruh siswa/siswi MTS Al-Ikhlas Donggo dan sampel Kelas VIII Mts Al-Ikhlas Donggo. Instrument yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa lembar obsevasi, interview dan Dokumentasi. Sedangkan Tehnik Analisis yang digunakan dalam menganalisis adalah reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian Kemampuan Pengucapan Mufradat (Kosakata) Bahasa Arab Kelas VIII MTs Al-Ikhlas Donggo. sebagai berikut: kurangnya kemampuan siswa dalam pengucapan Mufradat (kosakata) Bahasa Arab. faktor-faktor yang menjadi penghambat dalam pengucapan mufradat (kosakata) Bahasa Arab yaitu: a) .kurang minat dan bakat siswa dalam belajar Bahasa Arab. b) Siswa kurang mempraktekkan pengucapan mufrodat. c) Kurangnya persedian buku paket oleh pihak sekolah, 4.Waktu jam pelajaran disekolah hanya sedikit dalam seminggu.

Abstract

Soybeans as a raw material for making tofu are generally supplied from foreign countries or imported. The reason is that the number of soybeans in the country is limited and the quality is not as good as soybeans from abroad. Raw materials need to be calculated so that the quantity is effective, if there is a shortage of raw materials it will result in reduced production quantities. On the other hand, if there is too much raw material inventory it will result in high costs. This research aims to analyze the optimal amount of raw material inventory, the total cost of raw material inventory, the amount of safety stock and reorder points in the Lutfi tofu agroindustry. This research method was carried out using a survey method for the case of the Tahu Lutfi agro-industry business. The research respondents were the Tahu Lutfi business owner as the main informant and 3 workers as respondents for additional information. Respondents were taken using census techniques. The analytical tools are EOQ (Economic Order Quantity), Total Inventory Cost, Safety Stock and Reorder Point Analysis. The results of the analysis for each objective are EOQ of 1,333.73 kg, total inventory costs per month of Rp 450.37. Safety stock results are 162 kg and Reorder Point is 408.66 kg.

Abstract

Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) di Indonesia, termasuk di Desa Petala Bumi, memiliki peran strategis dalam perekonomian nasional dengan menyerap tenaga kerja serta memberikan kontribusi yang signifikan terhadap Produk Domestik Regional Bruto (PDRB). Namun, pengembangan UMKM di desa masih menghadapi berbagai kendala, seperti rendahnya produktivitas, keterbatasan akses terhadap teknologi, serta tantangan dalam pemasaran. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan upaya peningkatan kapasitas pelaku UMKM melalui pelatihan, akses teknologi, peningkatan branding, serta dukungan pembiayaan dan jejaring pemasaran yang lebih luas. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas pelaku UMKM di Desa Petala Bumi, Siberida, Indragiri Hulu, Riau, yang bergerak dalam produksi makanan berbahan baku lokal. Tujuan utama kegiatan ini adalah: (1) meningkatkan kemampuan masyarakat mitra dalam mengidentifikasi permasalahan bisnis yang dihadapi, (2) meningkatkan pemahaman dalam perencanaan pengembangan usaha menggunakan Business Model Canvas, serta (3) mendorong pengembangan usaha melalui penerapan sembilan elemen Business Model Canvas. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah pelatihan berbasis analisis permasalahan dan solusi melalui diskusi kelompok. Pelatihan ini dirancang untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan pelaku UMKM dalam manajemen usaha dan strategi pemasaran berbasis Business Model Canvas. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat mitra mengalami peningkatan dalam menggali potensi dan mengidentifikasi permasalahan bisnis, memahami konsep perencanaan pengembangan usaha, serta mampu mengaplikasikan sembilan elemen Business Model Canvas dalam pengembangan usahanya.
