Abstract

This study aims to explore the of living organism interactions concept mastery and the environmental attitude of junior high school students in the TNWK buffer zone and with the student the city and it relate. The research was ex post facto. The sampling technique used random sampling. The research data were obtained from tests and questionnaires. Data were analyzed using independent t test and simple linear regression. Based on data analyzed, there was a difference in living organism interaction concept mastery and the environmental attitude between junior high school students in the buffer zone of the TNWK with the student in the city. Furthermore, it was found that there was a significant relate between living organism interactions concept mastery with that environmental attitude, both in the TNWK buffer zone and in the city.Penelitian ini bertujuan mengeksplorasi penguasaan konsep interaksi makhluk hidup dan sikap peduli lingkungan peserta didik SMPN di kawasan penyangga TNWK dengan di kota serta bagaimana hubungannya. Desain digunakan adalah ex post facto. Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan random sampling. Data penelitian diperoleh menggunakan tes dan kuesioner. Analisis data menggunakan uji independent t test dan regresi linier sederhana. Berdasarkan uji hipotesis terdapat perbedaan penguasaan konsep interaksi makhluk hidup dan sikup peduli lingkungan peserta didik SMPN kawasan penyangga TNWK dengan di kota. Selanjutnya terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara konsep interaksi makhluk hidup dengan sikap peduli lingkungan, baik di sekolah kawasan penyangga TNWK maupun di kota.Kata kunci: kawasan penyangga TNWK, interaksi makhluk hidup, sikap peduli lingkungan.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe students' interest in mathematics and its relation with learning methode and self- efficacy. The population of this research were junior high school students in Bandarlampung. This is a quantitative descriptive research, studied 691 students which were selected using the stratified random sampling technique. Data in this study consisted of data on student’s interest in mathematics (Y), learning methode (X1), and student’s self-efficacy (X2) which were obtained using questionnaires. Data analized using correlation and multiple linear regression with α = 0.05. It were concluded that: (i) 22.58% of students have interests in high category, 76.56% with moderate category, and 0.86% in low category; (ii) there is a very strong positive relationship between the variables of learning method and self-efficacy together towards the variables of interest with a value of r = 0.844; (iii) there is a strong positive relationship between learning method and interest in mathematics when no change of self-efficacy with r = 0.505; (iv) there is a strong relationship between self- efficacy and interest in mathematics when the learning method does not change with r = 0.585; and (v) the formula of the linear regression model is Y = 22,788+0,972 X1+0,932 X2.DOI: 10.22342/jpm.13.1.6750.83-100

Abstract

Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) is an effort to realise the goals listed in the SDGs. ESD is an alternative approach to the field of education to prepare a generation that has an awareness of sustainable life. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of the application of the problem-based learning model on students' critical thinking skills on SDGs-oriented environmental pollution materials. The research method employed was a quasi-experimental with the control group pretest-posttest design. In determining the sample, the researchers employed purposive sampling techniques by considering the differences in academic achievement, differences between the two classes, and differences in the number of students. Therefore, class VII B with 27 students was chosen as the experimental class and class VII E with 25 students was chosen as the control class. The types of data used were quantitative. The pretest-posttest in the experimental class obtained an N-gain score of 0.58 in the medium criterion. The normality test in the experimental class obtained a score of Sig 0.48, which was lower than 0.05. Conversely, the control class obtained a score of Sig 0.20, which was lower than 0.05. The homogeneity result was Sig 0.12, which was lower than 0.05. The hypothesis testing using the independent-sample t-test, a Sig (2-tailed) value of 0.00 was obtained, and the results of the effect size test were 1.77 with the high criterion. Therefore, there was a significant effect of using the SDG-oriented PBL model towards critical thinking skills on the topic of environmental pollution.

Abstract

Students in pre-service teacher education have difficulty formulating questions, particularly HOTS questions. The purpose of this study was to describe the distribution of questions, the percentage of HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skills) questions, and the obstacles faced by pre-service teachers in creating HOTS-based questions. The research method uses qualitative methods with descriptive data presentation. The research was conducted at the Biology Education Study Program with a sample of 2020 pre-service teachers, with 57 pre-service teachers selected by purposive sampling. The data source is multiple-choice questions made by pre-service teachers and tested on students in pilot schools in Lampung Province, Indonesia. The results of the study showed that 72.46% of the questions were in the valid category and 18.84% of the HOTS questions were in the low category. The obstacles found were difficulties in compiling questions, especially HOTS questions, difficulties in making homogeneous alternative answers, and distractors.

Abstract

TPACK menjadi syarat implementasi pembelajaran berbasis teknologi. Integrasi TPACK pada model pembelajaran flipped learning dapat memfasilitasi pelaksanaan pembejaran secara online ataupun blended learning. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis integrasi TPACK dalaml Flipped Learning  terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Metro. Penelitian ini menggunakan quasi experiment dengan desain pretest- posttest nonequivalent groups design. Sampel yang digunakan di dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 61 orang yang terbagi menjadi Kelas XI IPA 3 (30 orang) dan Kelas XI IPA 3 (31 orang) dengan teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu purposive sampling. Data dalam penelitian ini berupa data kuantitatif dan data kualitatif. Data kuantitatif berupa data hasil berpikir kritis dari pretest, posttest dan nilai n-gain  selanjutnya dianalisis dengan uji Independent Sample t-test (α=0,05). Hasil penelitian meunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari penerapan model Flipped Learning  terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik (Sig. p0,05). Data kualitatif berupa data nilai angket keterlaksanaan pembelajaran dengan skor 88,95% (kategori sangat baik) untuk hasil penilaian observer dan skor 64, 8 (kategori baik) untuk penilaian dari peserta didik. Sebanyak 67,4% peserta didik merasa dapat berpikir secara lebih kritis pada penerapan Flipped Learning. Dengan demikian, integrasi TPACK dalam Flipped Learning berpengaruh terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik dalam pembelajaran biologi secara daring.
