Abstract

In the realm of Islam, the word library is known as “maktabah” derived from “kitab” means the book. In America and Europe, the word “library” taken from the Latin “liber” means the book. There is a similar term “bibliography”, which is in the library called catalogue. In Bahasa, the word library (perpustakaan) is taken from the Sanskrit to refer to the book. Library has been part of human life. Therefore, the issue of library development is inseparable from commitment, facilities, collections, resources, budget and technology and government policy. Local library is often in a poor condition viewed as an object that is less liked by the students, especially by business people. As a result, it’s not surprising if students described library as a "spooky" or "haunted" place. Also, when students are asked how often they visit library in a month, the answer is “sometimes or never at all”. The efforts to develop and improve the quality of local libraries in Bekasi, can not be separated from a shared commitment to both government and its officials, community and business / industry to build the whole person not just imposed on educational institutions

Abstract

In the context of cultural development in the area of Bekasi today indicate a growing phenomenon of marginalization and getting away from the life of its people. Therefore, the key is to make changes and the identification of potential database Bekasi Traditional Arts and Culture should be done soon, so that will impact on the implementation and regulation conducive to the development of lo-cal arts and culture and tourism. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of work discipline and work motivation on employee performance at PT. Sewu Segar Primatama either partially or simultaneously. This type of research used is quantitative. The population in this study were employees of PT. Primatama Fresh Sewu. The sampling technique used was saturated sampling technique and the samples in this study were 62 respondents. The data collection technique is a questionnaire, while the data analysis uses validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, simple and multiple linear regression analysis, coefficient of determination analysis and hypothesis testing. The results of this study indicate that Work Discipline has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, this can be seen from the results of the t-test on the work environment variable of 6.846 with a significant value of 0.000. Work Motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, this can be seen from the results of the t-test on the motivation variable of 4.643 with a significant value of 0.000. Work Discipline and Work Motivation have a simultaneous and significant effect on employee performance, this can be seen from the results of the f-test of 43,651 with a significant value of 0.000 and the f-table of 3.18. Work Discipline and Work Motivation affect employee performance by 62.1%, this is based on the acquisition of an R-Square of 0.621 or 62.1%. While the remaining 37.9% is influenced by other factors not examined.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of leadership style and work motivation on employee job satisfaction at PT. The soul of Tekno Kultura Cipete, South Jakarta, either partially or simultaneously. This type of research used is causal associative with a quantitative approach. The population in this study were employees of PT. The soul of the techno culture of Cipete, South Jakarta. The sampling technique used was saturated sampling technique and the sample obtained in this study amounted to 63 respondents. The data collection technique is a questionnaire, while the data analysis uses validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, simple and multiple linear regression analysis, coefficient of determination analysis and hypothesis testing. The results of this study indicate that Leadership Style (X1) has a positive and significant effect on employee job satisfaction, this is seen in the results of the t-test on the Leadership Style variable of 7.502 with a significant value of 0.000 and t-table df=61 of 2,000. Work Motivation (X2) has a positive and significant effect on Employee Job Satisfaction, this can be seen from the results of the t-test on the Work Motivation variable of 5.312 with a significant value of 0.000 and t-table df=61 of 2,000. Leadership Style (X1) and Work Motivation (X2) have a simultaneous and significant effect on employee job satisfaction, this can be seen from the results of the f test of 28,503 with a significant value of 0.000 and an f-table of 3.150. Leadership Style (X1) and Work Motivation (X2) have an effect on Employee Job Satisfaction (Y) by 48.7%, this is based on the acquisition of an R-Square value of 0.487 or 48.7%. While the remaining 51.3% is influenced by other factors not examined.

Abstract

Strategic policy should represent the alignments of government to facilitate the poor that lead to motivated in the making of decision, namely: to apply the life skills that can fullfill the employment opportunities. Therefore, the effective formulation strategies are needed to develop the potential labor force of the poor segment population, mainly intended to solve the problem of ”the limited access that causes poverty.

Abstract

Community development kini menjadi sebuah wacana baru dalam menumbuhkembangkan pemberdayaan (empowerment) masyarakat. Oleh sebab itu, strategi yang dilakukan adalah dengan melakukan kajian pemetaan social (social mapping) yang diantarannya menuntut kembali karakteristik masyarakat yang menjadi focus utama. Abstract

Skripsi ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh antara pengembangan karir dan motivasi terhadap kinerja karyawan pada PT Meka Adi Pratama area Jabodetabek. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif yang bersifat asosiatif. Sampel yang diambil sebanyak 68 karyawan.Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji instrument penelitian, uji asumsi klasik , analisis diskriptif, analisis regresi, analisis korelasi, analisis determinasi dan uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian pengembangan karir secara parsial berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan persamaan linear sederhana Y= 12,804+0,528. Korelasinya 0,558 artinya variabel tersebut sedang. Koefisien determinan sebesar 0.312. Uji hipotesis diperoleh t hitung > t table (2,576 > 1,668) dengan demikian H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima artinya terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan pengembangan karir secara parsial terhadap kinerja karyawan. Motivasi kerja secara parsial berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan persamaan linear sederhana Y=7,647+0,570. Korelasinya sebesar 0,848 artinya variable tersebut sangat kuat. Koefisien determinasi sebesar 0.720. Uji hipotesis diperoleh t hitung > t tabel (2,576 > 1,668) dengan demikian H0 ditolak dan H2 diterima artinya terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan motivasi kerja secara parsial terhadap kinerja karyawan. Pengembangan karir dan motivasi kerja secara simultan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan persamaan regresi berganda Y=3,315+0,175+0,509. Korelasinya 0,863 artinya pengembangan karir dan motivasi kerja mempunyai tingkat hubungan korelasi yang sangat kuat terhadap kinerja karyawan. Koefisien determinasi sebesar 0.745. Uji hipotesis di peroleh nilai Fhitung > Ftable (95.201 > 3,13) dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan karir dan motivasi kerja secara simultan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan pada PT Meka Adi Pratama area Jabodetabek.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of motivation and work discipline on employee performance at the Coordinating Ministry for Marves, Central Jakarta, both partially and simultaneously. The method used was quantitative by collecting data through questionnaires filled in by 59 respondents, with a population of 59 people and a sample of 59 people. Data analysis techniques include simple linear regression tests, multiple linear regression, correlation coefficients, coefficients of determination, as well as t tests and f tests. The research results show that motivation has a significant effect on employee performance, with a regression equation Y = 22.737 + 0.512X1, a correlation value of 0.556 (medium), and a coefficient of determination of 29.7%. The t test shows the t-count of 4.053 which is greater than the t-table of 2,002 with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. Work discipline also has a significant effect on employee performance, with a regression equation of Y = 9.339 + 0.803X2, a correlation value of 0.806 (very strong), and a coefficient of determination of 64.4%. The t test for work discipline produces a t-count of 10.291, which is greater than the t-table of 2,002 with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. Simultaneously, Work Motivation and Discipline have a significant effect on Employee Performance, with a regression equation Y = 8.248 + 0.093X1 + 0.741X2, a correlation value of 0.807 (very strong), and a coefficient of determination of 64.4%. The results of the f test show that the F-count is 53.551 which is greater than the F-table of 3.16 with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05.
