Abstract

Simulation of On Grid Solar Power Plant Potential at PT. Halmahera Jaya Feronikel Employee Housing , Ilham Adam. In today's era of globalization, the need for electrical energy sources is a major factor in life. Various routine activities carried out by humans every day are not far from electronic goods, making electricity a basic need. The need for electricity also plays a very important role in industry and mining such as at the PT. Halmahera Jaya Feronikel mess which consumes quite high electrical energy, which is around 255 kWh/day, besides that in the PT. Halmahera Jaya Feronikel employee mess area has a mess roof that can be used to make solar power generators and the location of the employee mess is quite strategic because it is free from tall buildings that can cause shadows or shading. The results of the on-grid solar power plant simulation using 98 solar panels with a capacity of 550 Wp and 7 inverters with a capacity of 10 kW, the effective energy that can be generated in this solar power plant based on PVsyst software is 82303 kWh/year with an initial investment value of Rp. 792,040,000 and operational and maintenance costs for 20 years which is the project life of Rp. 438,408,000, with a payback period of 7.9 years and a net present value of Rp. 1,205,963,279 and can be said to be feasible because the NPV value is more than 0 which means that this solar power plant does not experience losses, and the Benefit cost ratio value obtained is 2.57 and can be said to be feasible because the results of the BCR are more than 1 which are obtained from the results obtained with the costs incurred.

Abstract

Kebisingan merupakan salah satu faktor yang dapat mengganggu ketenangan dalam belajar terutama ketika siswa sedang belajar mandiri. Beberapa siswa ingin belajar secara serius tetapi ada pula beberapa oknum yang tidak ingin belajar dan melakukan aktivitas yang dapat mengganggu konsentrasi siswa lainnya. Dari kasus ini maka dibutuhkan sebuah sistem yang dapat mengurangi kebisingan pada ruang kelas. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk merancang suatu alat yang dapat digunakan sebagai pendeteksi suara kebisingan suara di kelas dengan memberi notifikasi berupa bunyi pada buzzer jika terjadi kebisingan yang berlebihan. Adapun metode yang digunakan adalah metode tahapan pengumpulan data kemudian melakukan tahap analisis terhadap kinerja alat yang telah dibuat dengan metode perancangan prototyping. Hasil pengujian menghasilkan alat deteksi kebisingan berbasis Internet of Things. Dari hasil pengujian yang telah dilakukan, peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa alat ini berfungsi sesuai yang diinginkan dan diharapkan dapat mengatasi kebisingan yang terjadi di kelas.

Abstract

Railway transportation requires an integrated and reliable system to ensure the safety and smoothness of train travel. This study aims to investigate the reliability of Unistar HR EM type electric switch machines at Maros Station in maintaining train travel safety. The research method used is reliability analysis using visual inspection, indicator measurement, and functional testing methods with 60 trial runs. The results show that the condition of the switch plate that has not been lubricated can increase friction and disrupt the performance of the electric switch machine. Based on the reliability calculation results, the lowest reliability value among the five switches is the W0421 electric switch machine, which is 93%. This indicates that there are still several indicators that do not meet the standard reference values, which can cause significant disruptions in the long term.

Abstract

The SILSafe4000 electrical signaling system was implemented at the Labakkang Station on the Makassar-Parepare railway line as part of a newly developed operational corridor. This study aimed to assess the reliability and safety performance of SILSafe4000 using a quantitative analytical approach, combining technical performance standard matching and operational capacity evaluation. Field data will be obtained through direct observation, measurement of key technical parameters, and analysis of operational records from April to September 2025. The results indicate that the system generally operates within acceptable performance thresholds and is capable of supporting up to 52 train movements per day compared with the actual six daily operations. Deviations were identified in the grounding resistances and detection voltages of certain devices, which may affect long-term reliability if not corrected. This study proposes targeted technical improvements, including ground relocation, voltage stabilization, and detection circuit adjustments. This study is limited to a short-term technical evaluation of a low-density rail corridor and does not account for environmental variability, human factors, or long-term reliability indicators. The findings provide practical recommendations for reliability enhancement and can serve as a reference for signaling system optimization in the early operational stages of new railway networks. Overall, the SILSafe4000 system is considered reliable for current operational use, with the need for proactive maintenance and continuous performance monitoring to ensure its reliability.
