Abstract

In this paper, the design of microstrip BPF (Bandpass Filter) for WiMAX (Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access) application has been presented. The frequency band allocations for BWA (Broadband Wireless Access) in Indonesia are 2.3; 3.3 and 5.8 GHz. This microtrip BPF is designed using parallel coupled line in compact form and it has spesific parameter, i.e. 3.35 GHz center frequency, 400 MHz bandwidth, VSWR ≤ 2, -3 dB insertion loss and matching impedance between two port is 50 Ω. The Advanced Design System (ADS) software has been used during simulation and optimization. The simulation results show that return loss S11 and insertion loss S21 are -15.31 dB and -2.2 dB at 3.35 GHz respectively. For the design verification, the prototype of the proposed design wasfabricated and measured.The results of the fabrication approach of simulation results, which have return loss value S11and insertion loss S21 of the proposed microstrip filter are -18.20 dB and -2.91 dB at 3.35 GHz respectively. The result shows that the proposed design can be implemented forWiMAX communication system applications

Abstract

Industri tempe berskala kecil terdapat di Kota Pontianak salah satunya yaitu Pabrik Tempe Baril. Industri tempe mengandung bahan pencemar diantaranya TSS, pH dan BOD, berdasarkan Peraturan Menteri Lingkungan Hidup Republik Indonesia No.5 Tahun 2014 pada Lampiran XVIII. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui efesiensi penyisihan kadar BOD, TSS dan pH dalam limbah cair tempe yang diolah menggunakan kombinasi metode MBBR dan metode filtrasi, mengetahui kadar TSS, pH dan BOD limbah cair tempe setelah diolah dan mengetahui apakah hasil pengolahan sudah memenuhi baku mutu. Penelitian menggunakan metode MBBR dan metode filtrasi. Kesimpulan yang dapat diambil yaitu efisiensi pengolahan parameter TSS dan BOD pada limbah cair tempe dengan metode MBBR dan metode filtrasi berturut-turut adalah 89.6% dan 88%, dan hasil pengujian TSS, pH dan BOD setelah proses pengolahan menggunakan metode MBBR dan filtrasi berturut adalah 20.8 mg.L-1, 7.09 , 16.2 mg.L-1, dan telah sesuai baku mutu berdasarkan PerMenLH No 5 Tahun 2014.

Abstract

Surabaya merupakan kawasan pesisir yang diproyeksikan sebagai kawasan strategis untuk perkembangan berkelanjutan wilayah pesisir sesuai rencana pembangunan jangka menengah daerah kota Surabaya 2016-2021. Kawasan strategis wilayah pesisir yang berfungsi sebagai pendukung pertumbuhan ekonomi, dan penyelamatan lingkungan hidup sebagai upaya optimalisasi pembangunan kawasan pesisir, sehingga diperlukan studi untuk mengetahui pengembangan wilayah tersebut. Studi ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui kekuatan, kelemahan, peluang dan ancaman pada wilayah pesisir Surabaya. Peneliti melakukan pendekatan kualitatif pada analisis dan bersifat study case yang diperlukan. Analisis pada kegiatan ini menggunakan metode SWOT. Hasil Analisis SWOT adalah hasil perbandingan faktor internal dan eksternal, analisis dilakukan dengan matriks IFAS (Internal Factor Analysis Summary) dan matriks EFAS (Eksternal Factor Analysis Summary). Berdasarkan analisa SWOT dapat ditunjukkan bahwa pengelolaan wilayah pesisir Kota Surabaya sesuai dengan rencana tata ruang yang sudah dibuat, namun dalam realisasi harus memperhatikan komunikasi dan sosialisasi kepada masyarakat yang dinilai belum optimal, serta penanggulangan dampak dan perawatan lingkungan secara berkala sehingga ancaman pesisir dapat diminimalkan..

Abstract

Sumatra Island contributes 23% of Indonesia's GDP but has been among the regions most severely impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Both central and local governments have distributed social assistance to mitigate these effects; however, such assistance's benefits remain debatable. This study aims to examine the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on economic growth and assess how social protection spending moderates this relationship in Sumatra. Additionally, related variables such as education and health expenditures are analyzed. The research employs a quantitative approach using Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) on 544 year-sample data points from 136 regencies/cities in Sumatra from 2018 to 2021. The findings reveal that the COVID-19 pandemic significantly and negatively affects economic growth. Social protection spending has a significant positive effect on economic growth, while education and health expenditures do not show a significant impact. Furthermore, the interaction between social protection spending and the COVID-19 pandemic yields a significant positive effect.

Abstract

Abstract. Floods and tidal floods are a topic of discussion every year in the city of Semarang because no proper solution has been created for mitigation. From January 2022-May 2023, most of the flood and rob events are located in flat and sloping areas. The disaster had an impact on human life, such as material, physical, economic, and psychological losses. Importance of innovation to create flood resilience is urgently needed to eliminate or minimize the adverse effects of floods and rob. Flood resilience analysis uses a spatial approach supported by GIS optimization, Remote Sensing, and the Cloud platform. Then the model builder is used to speed up and simplify the analysis process. The results of the analysis show that the highest level of flood sensitivity is in flat and gently sloping areas with high population density & buildings. Meanwhile, high capacity levels are in areas close to health facilities, have road accessibility, and have lots of economic activity. In addition, 93.37% of the area's resistance to flooding is still classified as low and medium. This should be of particular concern for areas with dense populations and buildings, such as Pedurungan District, Ngaliyan District, North Semarang District, West Semarang District, and Genuk District. Thus, through regional resilience mapping, it can become a basis for decision-making for local governments with the support of inclusive disaster management.

Abstract

Based on the results of field inspections, damage to architectural, mechanical, and electrical components was found in several rooms of Hotel X in the city of Padang, West Sumatra, Indonesia. Lack of maintenance is one of the causes of damage to hotel building components. Good maintenance management can reduce repair activities that cost more due to injury. This study aims to evaluate the maintenance management of hotel buildings that have been carried out so far. In this study, researchers conducted surveys and interviews about hotel maintenance management. The survey and discussions focused on the hotel's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for each component reviewed. After obtaining the hotel SOP, the researcher analyzed it by comparing the hotel SOP with the Minister of Public Works Regulation No.24/PRT/M/2008 as a standard in the implementation of building maintenance. From the results of the conformity calculation carried out, the conformity results in each component are architectural components with an average conformity result of 72.38%, mechanical parts with an average conformity result of 88.89%, and electrical components with an average conformity result of 77.78% of a maximum weight of 100%. This percentage of conformity weight shows that the hotel's maintenance management concerning the Ministerial Regulation is quite good. Still, to further optimize maintenance activities, it is necessary to plan better standard operating procedures, cost planning, and maintenance schedules to support implementing Hotel X building maintenance in the future.

Abstract

Batu bata merah adalah bahan bangunan sejenis batako yang terbuat dari tanah liat dan dibakar pada suhu tinggi. Tanah liat merupakan bahan utama pembuatan batu bata merah ini jika dicampur dengan air akan menjadi suatu adonan yang plastis, dengan ini tingkat plastisitas yang tergantung dari jenis tanah liatnya. Batu bata merah dalam penelitian ini ditujukan untuk pemanfaatan limbah. Limbah batu bata merah dalam penelitian ini untuk pembuatan beton normal. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode percobaan yang dilakukan di Laboratorium Struktur dan Bahan, Univeritas Muslim Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sifat mekanik dan sifat fisik beton dengan campuran limbah batu bata merah sebagai subtitusi/pengganti semen. Benda uji yang digunakan berbentuk silinder berdiameter 15 cm dan 30 cm. Pengujian kuat tekan dan Porositas beton dilakukan pada variasi umur beton yaitu 7, 14, 21, dan 28 hari. Presentase penggunaan limbah batu bata merah antara lain 0%, 5%, 10%, 15%, dan 20%. Berdasarkan nilai kuat tekan rata-rata dengan menggunakan limbah batu bata merah sebagai subtitusi pada variasi 10% diperoleh hasil terbesar yaitu 17,365 MPa. Sedangkan untuk Porositas dengan menggunkan limbah batu bata merah sebagai subtitusi diperoleh hasil terbesar pada variasi 20% yaitu 3,233 %.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the impact of Shopee's double days festival online shopping promotion strategy on user participation intentions (Study on Millennial Generation Shopee E-Commerce Users). This research is a type of quantitative descriptive research. The population in this study were all millennial generation Shopee e-commerce users spread throughout Indonesia. The sample size of this study was 150 respondents. The sampling technique used was non-probability, with purposive sampling. This research uses primary data. The data collection technique used was a questionnaire. This analysis process was carried out using the Smart PLS 3.2 application. The results of this study show that the Perceived temptation of price promotion has a positive and significant influence on participation intention. This means that the higher the perceived temptation of price promotion, the higher the participation intention. Perceived fun of promotion activities positively and significantly affects participation intention. This means the higher the perceived fun of promotion activities, the higher the participation intention. Perceived category richness of promotion positively and substantially influences participation intention. This means the higher the perceived categories' richness of promotion, the higher the participation intention.
