Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menginvestigasi profil model mental konduksi kalor siswa SMA yang belum belajar kalor dan siswa SMA yang sudah belajar kalor. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Partisipan yang terlibat pada penelitian ini adalah siswa belum belajar materi kalor (Kelas X) 15 orang dan siswa sudah belajar materi kalor (Kelas XI) 15 orang dari salah satu SMA Negeri di Kabupaten Bandung. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa protokol wawancara dari Chiou (2010) yang terdiri dari tiga tahapan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa profil konsepsi konduksi kalor yang ilmiah dimiliki oleh 2 orang siswa yang sudah belajar kalor dan profil model mental konduksi kalor yang ilmiah ditemukan pada 2 orang siswa sudah belajar kalor. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan model mental siswa yang belum belajar kalor dengan siswa yang sudah belajar kalor. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan pengembangan model pembelajaran yang dapat memfasilitasi pembentukan model mental ilmiah.

Abstract

With the use of ICT, the use of e-modules as a learning resource has become an innovation. E-modules are independent study materials in electronic format by utilizing various media and interactive features as well as learners' learning experiences. This e-module characteristic supports the presentation of physics teaching materials in the form of multiple representations. However, the availability and use of multiple representation-based e-modules is still limited, given the importance of learning resources and multiple representations so this research conducts a multi-representation based e-module preparation on Newton's Law material. The research method used is R&D with an adaptation development model of the 4D development model which is carried out through the Define, Design, and Develop stages. The e-module product that has been compiled is validated by four experts and 15 students as initial users. The results of the validation analysis show that the qualified e-modules are qualified properly in the aspects of content, media and multiple representation. In the developmental testing, a positive response was obtained and the results showed that the readability of the e-module was "high" with a reading of 88.65%, meaning that the e-module could be used independently. Based on the results of this study, an e-module based on multiple representation on Newton's Law material was produced with good reviews from experts and students.

Abstract

Scientific reasoning is one of the 21st century skills that are expected to be developed in learning which is used as an effort in physics to help understand concepts to explain phenomena that occur in  nature with product of physics. However, based on observation results show that scientific reasoning has not been trained optimally in learning to support understanding of concepts. One of the way to train scientific reasoning in learning are using learning cycle 7E with HACL strategy. The aim of this study to look the effect of using learning cycle 7E with HACL strategy on scientific reasoning and Conceptual Understanding of Momentum and Impuls on high school student. The research method used was Quasi Experimental design with the Randomized Control Group Pretest-Posttest. Participants involved in this study amounted to 60 students of class X IPA at high schools in Cimahi. In this study two classes were uses as the control class dan the experimental class. The instruments used consisted of 16 multiple choice question to measure 15 aspect of scienctific reasoning, and 19 multiple choice question to measure 7 indicator of conceptual understanding. The result show that the improvement of scientific reasoning skills and conceptual understanding in the class using HACL-grouping was higher than the class using FCL-grouping. Overall student of experiment class provide pretty good attitude towards learning physics with learning cycle 7E with HACL strategy.

Abstract

Permendikbud No. 65 dan No. 81A Th. 2013 tentang implementasi kurikulum 2013 menyatakan adanya pembelajaran proses sebagai penguatan penggunaan pendekatan ilmiah dan dalam implementasinya ada lima pengalaman belajar pokok dalam proses belajar, yaitu mengamati (Observing), menanya (queStioning), mengumpulkan informasi (collEcting information), mengasosiasi (Associating), dan mengkomunikasi (commuNicating). Lima Pengalaman belajar pokok ini selanjutnya dalam penelitian ini dinyatakan dengan istilah kegiatan OSEAN. Tujuan utama dari implementasi kurikulum 2013 adalah meningkatkan tiga kompetensi siswa yaitu kompetensi pengetahuan, keterampilan dan sikap. Berdasarkan studi pendahuluan didapatkan kompetensi siswa dan lima pengalaman belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran masih rendah. Berdasarkan masalah tersebut maka telah dilakukan penelitian quasi experiment penerapan model inquiry lab untuk melihat peningkatan kompetensi dan kegiatan OSEAN siswa dengan desain one group pret-test post-test design. Sampel penelitian 30 siswa kelas VII. Pengambilan data dilakukan melalui tes berupa soal pilihan ganda, open guided inquiry worksheet, penilaian teman sejawat, dan lembar observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi pengetahuan siswa meningkat dengan nilai gain yang dinormalisasi 0,56 dalam kategori sedang. Pada kompetensi sikap dan keterampilan mengalami kenaikan. Ditemukan peningkatan jumlah siswa yang melakukan kegiatan OSEAN yang terobservasi saat pembelajaran. Sedangkan kegiatan OSEAN dilihat dari prosentase jumlah siswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah benar dan tuntas dalam worksheet selama tiga pertemuan berturut-turut adalah 67%, 100%, dan 100%. Abstract

Fisika adalah bagian dari sains yang mempelajari berbagai konsep pada objek makroskopis maupun mikroskopis yang tidak semuanya dapat diamati secara langsung, salah satunya pada materi kalor dan perpindahannya. Hal ini menjadi salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi tingkat pemahaman peserta didik, sejalan dengan aspek pengetahuan fisika yang mengacu pada pemahaman konsep (Depdiknas, 2006) [1]. Tujuan dari penelitian yang dilakukan ialah mengidentifikasi miskonsepsi yang terjadi pada peserta didik dalam materi Kalor dan Perpindahannya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ialah deskriptif kualitatif melalui tes pemahaman konsep berbentuk three-tier. Subjek pada penelitian ini ialah peserta didik kelas XI SMA yang berjumlah 37 orang. Hasil dari penelitian yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa 54,95% mengalami miskonsepsi sedangkan sisanya 15,92% tidak paham konsep, 20,42% tidak tahu konsep, 2,40% paham parsial, dan 6,31% paham. Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa adanya miskonsepsi yang terjadi pada peserta didik dalam materi kalor dan perpindahannya. Implikasi dari penelitian ini diperlukan suatu tindakan yang mampu meminimalisir miskonsepsi peserta didik pada materi Kalor dan Perpindahannya. Physics is a part of science that studies various concepts in macroscopic and microscopic objects that not all can be observed directly. One of them in heat and how their transferred topic. This is one of the factors that influence the level of understanding of students, in line with aspects of knowledge of physics that refers to understanding concepts (Ministry of National Education, 2006) [1]. This study aims to identify misconceptions that occur in students in the topic of heat and how their transferred. The method used in this research is descriptive analysis through concept understanding tests. The results of this research showed that 54.95% of students experienced misconceptions, while 15,92% of students did not understand the concept, 20,42% of students did not know the concept, 2,40% of students understood partially, and 6,31% understood. Therefore, it can be concluded that there are misconceptions that occur in students in the heat material and their transferred. The implications of this research require an action that is able to minimize students' misconceptions in the topic of heat and how their transferred .

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi memiliki pengaruh dibidang pendidikan. Pengaruh perkembangan tersebut dapat dimanfaatkan untuk meningkatkan implementasi pendidikan guna mengembangkan bahan ajar. Didalam proses pembelajaran, bahan ajar adalah hal yang sangat penting karena bahan ajar adalah sumber informasi belajar bagi peserta didik. Saat ini pengembangan bahan ajar banyak dilakukan, salah satunya dengan membuat bahan ajar elektronik atau e-book. Pada penelitian ini, akan dikembangkan e-book yang berbasis multi representasi pada materi getaran harmonik sederhana. Penelitian dilatarbelakangi oleh anggapan peserta didik bahwa fisika itu sulit, sehingga diperlukan pengembangan bahan ajar dalam pembelajarannya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (RD) dengan model ADDIE melalui 5 tahapan; Analysis, Desgin, Development, Implementation dan Evaluation. Penyusunan e-book dilakukan berdarakan hasil angket kebutuhan buku ajar dan angket penggunaan buku ajar. Hasil validasi konten dan media e-book terkualifikasi “baik” dan layak untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Tingkat keterbacaan e-book sebesar 90,44% dan peserta didik juga merespon e-book ini dengan respon yang positif. Kata kunci : ADDIE, e-book, getaran harmonik sederhana  ABSTRACT Technological developments have an influence in the field of education. The influence of these developments can be used to improve the implementation of education in order to develop teaching materials. In the learning process, teaching materials are very important because teaching materials are a source of learning information for students. Currently, the development of many teaching materials is done, one of which is by making electronic teaching materials or e-books. In this research, an e-book will be developed based on multiple representations on simple harmonic osilation material. Research is motivated by the assumption of students that physics is difficult, so it is necessary to develop teaching materials in learning. The research method used is Research and Development (RD) with the ADDIE model through 5 stages; Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. The e-book was prepared based on the results of a questionnaire on the need for textbooks and a questionnaire on the use of textbooks. The results of the content validation and e-book media are qualified "good" and suitable for use in learning. The e-book readability rate is 90.44% and students also respond to this e-book with a positive response. Key word : ADDIE, e-book, simple harmonic osilation

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi temuan terkait pemahaman konsep fisika dasar mahasiswa calon guru Fisika yang menunjukkan adanya kesulitan-kesulitan konseptual perkuliahan Fisika Dasar I pada usaha dan energi. Adanya temuan ini jadi dasar dalam penentuan rencana alternatif solusi yang mendukung pencapaian hasil belajar yang lebih optimal salah satunya pengembangan Pre-Class Tutorial (PCT). Metode yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen semu. Sebanyak tiga angkatan mahasiswa (tahun akademik 2015/2016 , 2016/2017 dan 2017/2018 masing-masing 82 mahasiswa) yang mengambil perkuliahan Fisika Dasar I pada Program Studi Pendidikan Fisika dilibatkan untuk mengumpulkan data penelitian.  Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan berupa PCT untuk mendapatkan deskripsi proses pemikiran mahasiswa terhadap konsep Fisika dan Tes penguasaan konsep Materi Usaha dan energi untuk mengetahui  pemahaman konsep. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya PCT membantu mahasiswa mengkonstruk konsep Fisika  dan dapat meningkatkan penguasaan konsep materi sistem usaha dan energi.     ABSTRACT This research is motivated by findings related to the understanding of the basic physics concepts of pre-service physics teacher that shows the conceptual difficulties of  Basic Physics concept in work and energy concept. This finding is the fact in determining alternative solution to support the achievement of more optimal learning outcomes, one of which is the development of Pre-Class Tutorial (PCT). The method used is a quasi-experimental method. A total of three grade student (2015/2016, 2016/2017 and 2017/2018 in academic year, respectively 82 students) who took the Basic Physics I course in the Physics Education Study Program were involved to collect research data. The research instrument used in the form of PCT to get a description of students' thought processes on the concepts of Physics and the comprehension test of the concept of system of particle and Momentum to determine the understanding of Basic Physics concepts. The results showed that the using of PCT helped students construct concepts of physics and  improve Understanding of Prospective Physics Teacher in work and emergy Concepts.  Kata kunci : Calon guru fisika, Materi Usaha dan Energi, Pemahaman Konsep, Pre-Class Tutorial (PCT)

Abstract

Analisis pemahaman konsep peserta didik pada topik perambatan kalor dengan menggunakan Rasch Model masih belum banyak dilakukan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pemahaman konsep peserta didik pada materi perambatan kalor dengan menggunakan pemodelan Rasch. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Partisipan uji pemahaman konsep perambatan kalor berasal dari salah satu MAN di kabupaten Bandung, yang mengikuti sebanyak 18 peserta didik dengan rincian 10 siswa perempuan dan 8 siswa laki-laki, rentang umur peserta didik yaitu 15-16 tahun. Instrumen penelitian terdiri dari 15 soal perambatan kalor berbentuk pilihan ganda yang disebarkan melalui google form yang diisi secara online oleh peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa sebagian besar dari nilai logit peserta didik dibawah 0,0 logit, dapat dikatakan bahwa pemahaman konsep perambatan kalor pada peserta didik masih rendah. Terdapat tiga peserta didik yang memiliki pola jawaban tidak sesuai, diindikasikan peserta didik tersebut tidak menjawab soal dengan sungguh-sungguh. Pemodelan Rasch mampu menganalisis pemahaman konsep dengan baik dan jelas sehingga perlu digunakan oleh para pendidik untuk menganalisis kemampuan dan hasil peserta didik.

Abstract

The development of ICT brings new innovations in physics learning. Thus, the application of ICT needs to be trained to be mastered by teachers in physics education. The community service aimed to strengthen teachers' competencies in utilising ICT and training in developing student worksheets for physics experiments. The software includes PhET, Physical Phone Experiment, and Physics Toolbox. The implementation method included preparation, implementation, and evaluation stages. The activities on the first day (online) included introducing technology-based software as laboratory support and designing student worksheets to train students’ skills. The activities on the second day (offline) involved direct training on software usage and student worksheet creation. On the third day (online), there were presentations of the student worksheets created by teachers. There were 110 participants in this community service, consisting of physics and science teachers from various Sumatera, Java, Kalimantan, and Sulawesi schools. The implementation of the community service utilised lectures, Q&A sessions, discussions, and demonstrations. The achievements of the community service included providing teachers with new knowledge and experiences in developing student worksheets. The validity results of the student worksheets created by teachers obtained an average percentage of 95.5%. This indicated that the community service activities positively impacted teachers and were highly effective.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the validity of a sound wave diagnostic test instrument that can be used to identify students' conceptions. The research method used was Research and Development with the 4D model. The test instrument consisting of 15 questions with a two-tier format was tested on 64 students at one of the high schools in Bandung City. The results of the content validity of the instrument by experts were analyzed using a multi-rater test, namely the Many Facet Rasch Model (MRFM). As for construct validity, it was analyzed using Rasch modeling which describes validity, reliability, differentiating power, and item difficulty. The results showed that based on item dimensionality it was declared valid and every item met the criteria for item suitability with details of 3 easy questions, 11 medium questions, and 1 difficult question. Reliability based on Cronbach's alpha value is in the very good category, item reliability value is in the very good category, and person reliability is in the good category. The instrument can discriminate between individuals who have low and high abilities as seen from the results of the differentiating power test with all items in the very good category
